Poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) based materials for 3D printing in medical applications
Building a 3D Printer
Škop, Martin ; Klepárník, Petr (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to analyse available options for 3D printing using FDM technology according to requests of cooperating company, to propose several drafts of electronical and software parts of 3D printers. This also includes their connection, functionality testing and implementation of one chosen draft. The core of this Bachelor thesis was to document the progress in building the 3D printer and also to solve arisen problems. The result of this Bachelor thesis is practical realisation of electronic part of 3D printer including basical tests. Secondary benefit of this Bachelor thesis is to explain the issue of 3D printing with the option of building custom 3D printer from PiBot components.
Design of printhead for multimaterial print
Szendi, Adam ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Szabari, Mikuláš (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is to design a 3D printhead for multimaterial printing, so as to prevent leakage of filament from the inactive nozzle and thus reduce waste material. The first part describes multi-material printheads that are available on the market. The second part deals with the design of variants and the subsequent selection of a suitable variant according to multicriterial analysis. Then follows the creation of 3D models and drawing documentation.
Production of gears model on FDM printer
Frátrik, Michal ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with an issue of 3D printing of gears. In the first part are concisely summarized processes of 3D printing, selected types of Rapid Prototyping considering the FDM and properties of materials used in this method. The second part deals with a suggestion of gears model based on the gearbox of the kitchen blender. Gearbox was designed in 3D modeling program Autocad inventor 2013 and printed on the Reprap printer Sinuhed. There is techno-economic appreciation of production of the model in conclusion.
Mini 3D printer
Čermák, František ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with desig of a functional miniature 3D printer. The theoretical part analyzes the anatomy and control of such printer. There is also a detailed description of individual parts of the printer. Materials that are used by FDM printer are mentioned as well. The practical part is about design and construction of the miniature FDM printer. Then the detailed workflow of electronic connection and manipulation with softwares to control the 3D printer is described. At the end of the thesis, the unusual problems that I encountered while solving the task are also analyzed and explained.
Design of 3D model for three flutes drilling tool for 3D printing
Bělaška, Karel ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachalor‘s thesis deals with the production of three flutes dril 3D model by Fused Deposition Modeling method. First part of this thesis describes geometry of twist drills and the methods of their production. In the main part of the thesis is described the creation of 3D model, that was created in software Inventor Professional 2016. There were two methods of creation used – grinding method and the dragging profile over helix method.
The new concept of maintenance and operation of manufacturing technologies
Klus, Jakub ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a new concept of maintenance and operation of production technologies, where spare parts are manufactured using rapid prototyping methods. The options are compared with currently used methods. Furthermore, methodological recommendations are written on how to proceed with the application. The aim of the work is to evaluate the concept and confirm the theoretical assumptions on a case study.
Application of modern 3D technologies for production of car key cover
Franc, Tadeáš ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is a reconstruction of a car key cover by using modern 3D technologies. Computer model was created in Autodesk Inventor Proffesional and the component printed on the 3D printer uPrint Dimension. Printed component also served as a mother model for a mould made of silicon matter, which was afterwards used for casting a plastic component. The outcome of this thesis is a functional car key and a technical-economic evaluation of both of these methods.
