Business Plan - Biogas Plant
Michalica, Miroslav ; Kolář, Jan (referee) ; Veselý, Josef (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is to design a business plan for the construction of biogas plant in the village Bulhary. The actual work is divided into two main parts. The first part is devoted to theoretical resources of a business plan and theory related to biogas station. The practical part of the thesis applies the theoretical knowledge to create a real business plan.
Energy supply for greenhouse production
Najbrtová, Zuzana ; Poláčik, Ján (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The import of the vegetable has prevailed in the long run over the own production. In connection with this reality and increasing demand for the food with higher quality the production greenhouse is more often built. The providing heat, cold and electricity for the year-round operation is related to the construction and working of these objects. The theoretical part of this theses describes possible ways how to cover energy consumption for the model greenhouse in Kožichovice, Třebíč region. The heat losses and the year-round heat consumption were stated for the selected model and compared with the exact values from Kožichovice. The following method of energy supply was selected based on the calculated energy consumption - the separate cogeneration unit, cooperation of several cogeneration units, a biogas station, a heat pump and central heating system. These methods of energy supply were subjected to technical and economical comparison.
Customer Satisfaction Analysis and Recommendations for its Improvement
Medek, David ; Cvrček, Tomáš (referee) ; Chalupský, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with customer satisfaction analysis (users of biogas plants) of the company agriKomp Bohemia which provides construction and service of agricultural buildings. The level of the satisfaction will be measured here by a questionnaire survey. Then the proposals of appropriate measures based on the information obtained will be compiled. These measures should lead to customer satisfaction increase.
Control methods for wastewater pH
Picka, Marek ; Vondra, Marek (referee) ; Miklas, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis initially deals with the process of wastewater treatment with a focus on measurement, pH control and related issues. The pH value is an important parameter in wastewater treatment, which influences physical, chemical and biological processes as well as digestate treatment processes. This paper focuses on the process of thickening of digestate from a biogas plant by evaporation, which is normally associated with the leakage of volatile ammonia into the distillate. In order to eliminate this phenomenon, four methods of pH reduction were compared, which leads to the conversion of nitrogen from the volatile undesirable form 3 to the desirable form + 4 or 3 , which does not evaporate into the distillate during the evaporation process but remains in the concentrate, thus yielding a high quality fertilizer. Of the 4 methods discussed, the nitrification method appears to be the best in terms of the quality of the fertilizer output, but its disadvantage is the long retention time. From the point of view of flue gas utilization, lowering the pH by bubbling 2 and acidification with acid is a suitable method. For cases where speed and low acquisition costs are important, pH reduction with acid is preferable, unless high operating costs are a problem. In order to assess the correct method of pH reduction for a particular biogas plant, a techno-economic evaluation and consideration of other operational constraints is required and will be the subject of future work.
Concept for Remunaration System in the BGS Energy plus,Inc.
Vaňorek, Tomáš ; Ryšavá, Veronika (referee) ; Konečná, Zdeňka (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is upgrading the existing remuneration system that supports employee performance, and thus performance across the organization. Analyze the current situation in the particular company and on that basis to suggest possible changes in the existing system of employee compensation. The work is detailed in the company BGS Energy Plus, Inc., which makes use of market opportunities in renewable energy.
Assessment of evaporator integration into biogas plant
Peťovský, Patrik ; Touš, Michal (referee) ; Máša, Vítězslav (advisor)
The main waste output of the biogas plant is digested which is used as fertilizer. It can be further process. Digestate cannot be discharged freely into surface waters. This problem is associated with high transportation costs and higher costs of storage tanks in the new biogas plant. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess a suitable evaporation system for a particular biogas plant. The evaporation system leads to the concentration of digestate by evaporation water. The system uses heat produced by cogeneration unit. The main consequence of the integration is lower cost for the transport of liquid digestate. The output of the bachelor thesis is a technical and economic evaluation that assesses the payback period depending on the flow of concentrated digestate. The specific costs for adjustment of liquid digestate with regard to the payback period are in the range of 5–15 years. The values do not exceed 210 (Kčyear)/t_fug . The values considering selling heat are even negative. The minimum value guaranteed by the manufacturer is around 260 (Kčyear)/t_fug . The integration of the evaporation system into Žamberk's biogas plant is economically disadvantageous. The thesis brings new knowledge about the potential of multi-stage flash evaporation in biogas plants with short transport distances and high utilization of waste heat.
Impact of Membrane Separation of Biogas on Biogas Station Operating Conditions
Svoboda, Jan ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of removing carbon dioxide from biogas using membrane separation. Addresses the impact of the implementation of a small research facility at the existing operation of the biogas plant. Assessment of the impact on traffic is solved in terms of technical and economic.
New technologies for an efficient operation of biogas plants
Uhlířová, Marcela ; Máša, Vítězslav (referee) ; Vondra, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on new technologies enhancing efficient operation of biogas plants. The introductory part describes operation of biogas plant, its products and issues. The main part of the thesis deals with description of three progressive technologies concerning biogas plants such as dry fermentation, hydrothermal pretreatment and biogas upgrading to biomethane. For each technology there is a description, advantages and disadvantages with regard to their practical applicability.
CONSTRUCTION AND TECHNOLOGICAL PROJECT OF PREPARATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE HOTEL AT VALEČ CASTLE
Petrů, Václav ; Jílek, Jan (referee) ; Mohapl, Martin (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the construction of a new hotel building in the Chateau Valeč complex. This building will serve as a garage, restaurant and accommodation facilities. The building is located on the outskirts of the village of Valeč. The thesis contains a technical report of the object, a situation of the building with broader relations of transport routes, a time and financial plan of the construction, a study, a project of the construction site equipment, a design of the main construction machines and mechanisms, a time schedule, an item budget, a technological regulation, a quality control and testing plan and occupational health and safety. The thesis deals with sprayed polyurethane foam, which serves as a thermal insulator. The thesis also describes the heating system and energy sources for the building.
Combined heat and biogas production using a bioreactor
Novák, David ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the bioreactor system and its use for the production of heat and biogas. The bioreactor uses the composting and metanogation process of fermentation that humanity has known for hundreds of years, but the combination of these processes is a relatively unexplored area. The theoretical part of the thesis analyzes the existing possibilities of utilization of the heat generated in the compost, and also describes the used technology of small biogas stations and other small systems for biogas production. It follows the practical part of the work, when it was the task to design a bioreactor working at low temperatures during the winter. Part of the solution is the initial design and testing of the basic test structure of the bioreactor, followed by the implementation of a more advanced and more complex system, including a control and measuring center realized by a microcontroller.
