Application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for Industrial Purposes and its Comparison with Standard Methods
Červenka, Ondřej ; Neuwirth, Bernard (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The main aim of this dissertation is to suggest an application of unmanned aircrafts and to compare them with the currently used methods. In the introductory part the dissertation deals with the history and development of unmanned aircrafts. Further, it presents a theory essential to understand a principle of operation of the proposed methods and its analysis of the currently used methods and procedures. In the final part the dissertation explains a proposal of use of unmanned aircrafts in the industry and compares them with the methods currently used.
Anti-Drone Perimeter Protection
Janík, Roman ; Dvořák, Michal (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
Developement of drone technology brings opportunities for many fields of human activity, but simultaneously brings security threats. A need to effectively face these threats arises. In this work, problematics and state-of-the-art methods for object detection in a video captured by moving camera. Further I proposed a system for a drone or a flock of drones detection and localization. Algorithm for detection is based on convolutional neural network, specifically on SSD algorithm. I implemented the system with library OpenCV with possible acceleration of algorithm with GPU via OpenCL. I tested the created solution on both a video and a video camera output.
Drones and Their Use
Žanda, Martin ; Lang, Stanislav (referee) ; Šeda, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with drones and their areas of use. The aim of this thesis is capture a general and actual overview in area of these issues. This thesis is divided into 5 parts. The first part is devoted to legislation in area of civil aviation. The second part describes dynamics of movement and principle of control. The third part introduces individual components and sensors. In the following part, areas of use of drones are described. The last part is devoted to individual types of drones and their comparison.
Increasing the safety of the outside perimeter
Janoušek, Jiří ; Fiala, Pavel (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with increasing the safety of the external perimeter. The theoretical part describes the parameters of areas exhibiting an increased safety risk. For these spaces, relevant safety hazards and corresponding elimination methods are determined. Then, the term "drone" is analyzed in the context of its applicability. The practical section characterizes the process of building and configuring unmanned aircraft to guard the perimeter and the designing and fabrication of an automatic charging station for the aircraft. The final part of the thesis is a brief manual describing correct handling of the created system.
In-flight measurements of micro aerial vehicles
Málek, Ladislav ; Zikmund, Pavel (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with flight measurements on selected unmanned platforms within the project Detection and monitoring of invasive spieces using unmanned aircraft. Firstly, the project itself and the platform used are presented. The theoretical part is devoted to methods of measuring flight performance. Finally, thesis contains used measurement methodology, processing and evaluating of data.
Design of unmanned „Loyal wingman“ aircraft
Venerová, Zora ; Dubnický, Lukáš (referee) ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to research unmanned aircraft of the Loyal Wingman category and subsequently design a concept for a custom unmanned vehicle to support light combat aircraft. For this purpose, the thesis provides a detailed analysis of existing and developing types in its first part. The second part establishes requirements derived from purpose, missions, and standards. The third part focuses on designing the configuration and the influences affecting it, defining initial dimensions supported by CAD model visualization, and conducting a weight analysis and structural balance of the aircraft.
Konstrukční návrh bezpilotního letadla pro aplikaci v zemědělství
Frydrych, Jan
The diploma thesis deals with structural design of unmanned aircraft for application in agriculture. Thesis describes precision agriculture, agricultural machines, unmanned aircrafts, and technology of 3D printing. An analysis of these topics is performed, and it is also mentioned the legislation for using unmanned drone in the Czech Republic. In the second part the diploma thesis is focusing on structural design of unmanned aircraft and its individual parts. The structural design is extended by a draft of docking station which also works for charging the aircraft. The production technology was chosen 3D printing using PET-G material. In the end of the thesis, the process of 3D printing and mechanical testing of ASA, PET-G and rPET-G materials is described.
Design of a quadcopter model
Fiala, Jan ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the creation and implementation of a quadcopter model. The first part summarizes the basic division of unmanned systems and the rules of legislation limiting their operation. Subsequently, the problematics of motion dynamic is discussed. The practical part first describes the selection of components used, their connection, and the creation of the quadcopter frame. The implemented control system and calibration are also described. In the final part, a flight test, price analysis, and rating in comparison with the competitive product are included. The conclusion contains an evaluation of the work, possible improvements, and reflections on the future use of the model.
Structural optimization of 3D-printed Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
Sladký, Martin ; Šplíchal, Jan (referee) ; Löffelmann, František (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the design of the internal wing structure of 3D printed flying wing VUT 714. As a part of this work was performed a load calculation, static strenght test, comparative FEM analysis and subsequently topology optimization was performed. The outcome of this master thesis is a rational design of the wing internal structure based on the load calculation and knowledge of effect of this load on the structure.
