Theme of my work is arguable for the cities which are situated near the river. Riverbanks are really nice public space but a lot of them are not "designed for people". Before I started do this work I was thinking about places which are ignored or overlooked in Znojmo town. Yes, town has a lot of places which are interesting and need "new face". There are brownfiels but problems of these localities was designed many times. And I wanted to find some new way, try restore and improve public space in connecting by the river. I chose locality which connect two important buildings – Znojmo castle and Louka monastery. There is needed to improve connection this locality to town centre.

Next analyze and propose suitable assurance of individual parts. Separe into the stages of construction and to consider the proposal in terms of ensuring the resistance of materials. Finally create a detailed documentation in the range suitable for performance. Based on engineering geology and visual survey was designed horizontal bracing prestressing cables at three levels. The first level "A" consists of a closed circuit of prestressed reinforced concrete passports, supplemented by the cross and construction of prestressed reinforced concrete passports. Next level "B,C" is used to secure the top of the building. Levels “B,C” are proposed using prestressed cable in spare cable channels.

The fond includes: the castle chaple of St. Anne and its furniture, the Ledce Altarpiece, the Smečno Madonna etc. The aim is to base the core of the thesis on archival research and the stylistic analysis of the artworks. I will try to connect the artworks with specific locations at Smečno, the Church of the Holy Trinity and the castle chapel of St. Anne, and with the commissioning activities of the Martinitz family. Keywords: Smečno, Late Gothic era, Sculpture, Wood carving, the Martinitz, the Clam- Martinitz, Master of Doksany Altarpiece.
Modelling of Maříž: About the formation of contemporary local identities in a selected border village
Chmelař, Hugo ; Kreisslová, Sandra (advisor) ; Jakoubková Budilová, Lenka (referee)
The thesis deals with the construction of local identities in the border village of Maříž. The research was conducted in the form of semi-structured and biographical interviews, from which the data collected was explored through narrative analysis. The narrators approached included primarily permanent residents of the village as well as a wider circle of occasional residents who either had deeper ties to the place or were involved in village life. Aside from the current situation, the interviews were directed to the region's past, either to the expulsion of the original German inhabitants or the reality of the past regime that resulted in Maříž being closed off behind the national border fence. In the analysis of the narratives, the thesis explores the relationships and interpretation of these key formative events of the place. There is also a particular focus on the physical imprints of historical turbulences on the local landscape, in the example of the state border and the Maříž Castle as sites of memory. As a result of the analysis, the place was found to have developed a certain core identity over the last thirty years of its development, which works strongly with identification with the place and, although it does not take a form of a classic village community, has the potential for future continuity....

Early medieval sacral architecture in the Písek region- revision and analysis
NOVODVORSKÝ, Petr
Písecko is one of the South Bohemian regions where considerable building activity was carried out in the early Middle Ages. At that time, the efforts to colonise the uninhabited and vast forested landscape gave rise to several important cultural centres. The oldest of these emerged at the end of the 12th century in Milevsko. The influential Grand Duke George founded a monastery here, which he filled with a convent of the Premonstratensian Order. There was a workshop at the monastery, which influenced the construction activity of the surrounding area. As a result, a number of rural churches were built in the landscape, the morphology of which is often indicative of the participation of the workshop. Around the middle of the 13th century, another important cultural centre appeared in southern Bohemia, connected with the spread of monarchical power and the founding activities of King Přemysl Otakar II. The founding of the town of Písek and the major expansion of Zvíkov Castle required the construction of another South Bohemian building workshop, referred to in literature as the Písek-Zvíkov workshop. Its influence also reached the area around Milevsko, where the churches analysed and mapped in this thesis are located in the form of a catalogue. It will also include a review of the issue of the so-called Písek-Zvíkov workshop as it was formulated in Czech research more than forty years ago. On the basis of building-historical research and formal analysis of the buildings, the question of the influence of the building workshops should be clarified and an attempt should be made to place the South Bohemian buildings in a corresponding Central European context.
