Grečl, Michal ; Crossan, William Morea (advisor) ; Kaprálková, Michaela (referee)
Title: Marketing Strategies of Czech Football Clubs: Targeting Fans through Match Programs Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to present recommendations to increase the level of fan experience on match day with regard to the objectives of marketing teams in reaching their defined segments of people. The thesis offers a cross- comparison through interviews with high-level marketers of selected first league participants of the highest Czech football competition, complemented by direct observation and data analysis, focusing on the essence and justification of the individual steps implemented by the clubs in the matchday programme in relation to their strategic targeting. Methods: The thesis uses a qualitative research approach with selected professional football clubs in the top Czech football competition, specifically in-depth semi-structured interviews with high-level marketing staff, focusing on their perceptions, experiences and decision-making processes in the field of marketing, together with the essence and justification of the individual steps they implement. The research also includes direct observation of match programmes and analysis of data collected from football clubs and publicly available sources. The thesis then conducts a comparative analysis to compare the differences and...

Optimization of the solar system designed for DHW school canteens heating
Doskočil, Filip ; Zatloukal, Miroslav (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
Masters’s thesis describes the use of solar energy for solar thermal systems used for domestic hot water heating. It is about the size of the incident solar radiation on Earth. Distributes various types of solar collectors for water heating. It deals with the monitoring, remote management of this system and the design of optimal control used in this area.
Optimization of UMTS access network
Havlíček, Karel ; Kovář, Petr (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with a UMTS radio access network optimization, containing radio interface analysis, services and procedures description, ways to correct parameters calculations and settings and other issues necessary for a correct access network operation. The goal is effective network operation, minimum costs and maximum performance and flexibility of the network. The optimization during system operation is important because of the system character. The UMTS system uses the WCDMA technology, where particular users share the same frequency band and they are distinguished from one another via code sequences. The capacity of such a system is then given by the interference level - each particular user increases the interference level by the value corresponding to his transmit power. The maximum cell capacity is determined by the maximum interference level at which users can still operate with required services, so it is related not only to the number of users, but also to their bit rate. The optimization allows effective usage of the system for different services with different requirements. The main optimization tool is the radio resource management, containing number of algorithms, such as admission control, which decides the acceptance or rejection of a new user demanding certain service, power control, which ensure that users transmit with a minimal power sufficient for required service, handover and cell selection algorithms etc. The major parameter used by these algorithms is a cell load factor, which is related to the interference level margin. There are several methods for the load factor estimation and some of them are described in this work. Some other optimization techniques are mentioned here, too. This work also contains a laboratory exercise proposal for radio resource management introduction using the OPNET Modeler network simulation tool.
Optimisation of pressure condition in water supply systems
Sucháček, Tomáš ; Svoboda,, Miroslav (referee) ; Pollert, Jaroslav (referee) ; Tuhovčák, Ladislav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the optimization of pressure conditions in the water supply network. There is a deep theoretical and critical search of the state of the art and there are fields where there is an insufficient field of knowledge, the so-called "knowledge gap". Experiments are proposed here to determine the dependence of water consumption on pressure conditions. There is a description of experiments and way how it was carried out, which were carried out on the water connection, in the pressure zone and in the laboratory on the hydraulic loop. There is proposed a methodology of experimental determination of the mathematical dependence of water consumption on pressure so that it can be used for optimization problems, where consumption is considered as an optimization criterion. The results of individual experiments are evaluated and a critical discussion of the achieved results is carried out. Finally, the achieved results are compared with the values found in a deep literature search.
Optimisation of machining process for an industrial application and a CNC machining centre
Software for efficient use of material in 2D machining
Evaluation and Improvement of the Internet Marketing Strategy of an Existing E-commerce Business
