Digital Twin: Education And Training Purpose
Hollý, Vojtech ; Husák, Michal
This paper presents a digital twin simulation model with focus on education and testing purpose. For this reason, we have adopted a chain of digitization software tools from Siemens Digital Industries: Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Firstly, it will be introduced the simulation tools used to digital twin build. Secondly, the software interface that’s enabling communication between individual tools. Lastly the contribution concludes with a description of the education model of SCARA manipulator driven by virtual control environment.
Design of automatic tool change for robotic machining
Dvořák, Vít ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Bradáč, František (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the design of a station for automatic tool change for robotic machining at the UVSSR CELL robotic workplace. This workplace is located in the laboratories of the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics FSI BUT. In the introductory theoretical part, robotic machining technology is briefly described, which is followed by research in the area of systems for automatic tool change. Next, individual parts of the machining cell are described. This is followed by a system analysis, in which the solved problem is analysed in detail. In the next chapter, 3 designs of the automatic exchange station are created, and the most suitable design is selected using multi-criteria analysis. The chosen design is then processed in detail in terms of construction, including the choice of tires and sensors. After that, the concept of the automatic replacement peripheral is designed and processed. which in this case is the cleaning station. After processing the structure, it is proposed to connect the electronics of both stations, including modifications in the main switchboard of the machining cell. Detailed drawing documentation of both stations and electronic wiring diagrams are part of the appendix. In the next chapter, functional blocks are designed for controlling the cycle of automatic tool change by the robot and manual tool change in the station. The proposal also includes a description of the management of selected devices. The following is a design of the HMI for handling error conditions and managing the exchange cycle. Finally, a safety assessment of manual tool change in the station is processed.
Virtual commissioning of wax model gluing for investment casting
Maňák, Juraj ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Szabari, Mikuláš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the virtual commissioning of a robotic workstation for gluing wax models for investment casting. The theoretical part describes the concept of Industry 4.0 and its main pillars, followed by the technology of investment casting and the entire process from wax mold to casting. The next part summarizes the knowledge of robot programming methods and virtual commissioning. This is followed by a chapter analyzing the current methods of gluing and describing the individual components of a universal workstation. The practical part begins with the design of the robotic workstation, including components such as positioners and grippers, and their subsequent description. The next part focuses on creating a simulation in the Process Simulate software, including the definition of kinematic structures and operations. The thesis also describes the process of virtual commissioning, the use of Robot Studio for real feedback, and the subsequent creation of PLC and HMI in TIA Portal.
Design of a Universal Digital-Twin for the EDUset ONE Robotic Cell
Hrubý, Tomáš ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Lacko, Branislav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the creation of a digital twin for the EDUSet ONE robotic cell, which is part of the Intemac research centre. The theoretical part introduces the concept of Industry 4.0 and describes its sub-elements. The following part of the theory is dedicated to the digital twin, its history, definition and types. It also includes examples of applications in several different sectors of human activity. The next chapter explores the available visualization environments for creating robotic applications. The last theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the robotic cell and its components, which consist mainly of the UR10e collaborative robotic arm and a 5-axis CNC milling machine. The actual solution includes the creation of the twin, which consists of the modification of CAD models and development in Unity. Integral to the practical implementation of the digital twin is the design of the robotic cell scene, the implementation of a wide range of subroutines, a user-friendly interface and an OPC UA client solution for system integration with a Siemens programmable logic controller (PLC).
Virtual commissioning of automatic investment casting shell removal
Vach, Pavol ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Szabari, Mikuláš (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to design and virtually commission a robotic workplace for the automatic removal of shells from castings for investment casting technology. The theoretical part summarizes an overview of programming of industrial robots, PLCs and software for virtual commissioning. Subsequently, the investment casting technology is described. In the analysis of problematics, there is a description of assigned components and analysis of methods for removing shells from castings with a focus on the automation of this process. This is followed by the design of the workplace layout, the virtual commissioning of its model, the design of the control and user interface.
Virtual commissioning of a robotic palletizing system
Novák, Tomáš ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with a conceptual design and virtual commisioning of robotic palletizing system. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals in the first part of research with the current state of knowledge in the robotics implementation in the industry, definitions of virtual commisioning and softwares needed to make it happen. The second part is focused on the development and proceses of palletization. In the practical part is created a model exercise, described 3 designs of robotic cells, choice of the final design to virtual commision, components design, robot design and gripper design. The main part of the diploma thesis is focused on creating a simulation in software Process Simulate, design of control program and HMI in the interface of software TIA Portal and implementation of robotics programs to Robot Studio. The final result and the validation of virtual commisioning and single purpose machines was recorded and attached in the work attachment.
Modern approaches in the analysis and evaluation of vibrations in machines and equipment
Mikuš, Juraj ; Poliščuk, Radek (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The thesis focuses on modern approaches in technical diagnostics. As a part of the implementation, an online monitoring system SIPLUS CMS1200 was programmed. The measured data were transferred using the FTP protocol to a local server. The analysis of the measured data was conducted using CMS X-Tools software. The result of the work is a functional monitoring system that continuously monitors the machine's condition while keeping the operator informed about the current state of the monitored variables. This system helps to prevent unplanned downtime and also financial losses.
Application of Siemens simulation tools for education
Hollý, Vojtech ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Husák, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of simulation tasks emonstrating the capabilities of the provided software tools. The beginning of the thesis involves an analysis of the used tools. Subsequently, options for connecting SIMIT SP with other programs are presented to the reader, along with detailed descriptions of the procedures for creating couplings, which are then utilized in laboratory tasks. The main contribution of the bachelor thesis lies in the creation of universal blocks for simplified and standardized use in teaching. As part of task implementation, macros are created in the SIMIT SP environment, which are then utilized in the created educational tasks for easier usage.
