Proposal for Framework of Strategic Brand Development

This diploma thesis is focused on a proposal of strategic brand development framework for a new product line entering the Czech market by Brno-based company Grig a.s. The company plans to target a new customer segment for which the existing brand is not suitable. It therefore needs to create a strategic brand development framework that will prepare the right conditions for the successful implementation of the plan. The theoretical part presents the relevant theoretical background, the analytical part presents the research and analysis needed for the actual proposal of the strategic brand development framework, which is included in the proposal part of the thesis.

Design of control system of pneumatic manipulator

This bachelor thesis is about the design of the control system for the pneumatic manipulator. Initial research describe the current possibilities of pneumatic products for driving and positioning of pneumatic assemblies. The practical part of this thesis describes the connection of hardware with PLC terminals and the design of software for controlling the manipulator. At the end of the thesis is testing part realized with designed software and measuring software.

Hybrid module for industrial localization

Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl návrh hybridního lokalizačního zařízení, které je schopno lokalizace uvnitř i vně budov. Lokalizace uvnitř budov je dosažena pomocí technologie Ultra Wideband a venkovní lokalizace je provedena pomocí kombinace technologie RTK GNSS a PPP pomocí open - source softwaru zvaného RTKLIB. První část textu se zaměřuje na vysvětlení používaných technologií a výběr nejpřesnější technologie pro venkovní lokalizaci. Druhá část se zaměřuje ma vývoj potřebného hardware a software finálního zařízení a na integraci systému pro venkovní lokalizaci do systému pro lokalizaci vnitřní. Výstupem práce je plně funkční zařízení, které je schopné plynulé lokalizace uvnitř i vně budov. Funčnost celého zařízení je dokázána na finálních testech uskutečněných ve vnitřních i venkovních prostorách. Na závěr také práce zmiňuje možná vylepšení celého zařízení, která mohou být v budoucnu provedena.

Medical standing devices

This bachelor‘s thesis deals with patient verticalization and medical standing devices, which we use for this purpose. These findings are particularly important for rehabilitation and nursing care and also for the development of new standing devices. The bachelor‘s thesis describes the basic con¬cepts of human motor skills, the effect of changing position on the human organism, an overview of medical standing devices and their comparison. Thesis deals with comparison of the technical pa¬rameters of two standing devices more closely, standing device BALANCE Trainer and STOJ. The final part is devoted to measuring blood pressure using the noninvasive, continuous method of measuring at a group of wheelchair users during verticalization. I created a program with a graphical interface which allows measured data to load, display and measure, in numerical compu-ting environment MATLAB (version 7.9.0-R2009B). The results were statistically tested in the same numerical computing environment.

Control of linear drives HIWIN

The diploma thesis deals with three phase linear synchronous electric motors mounted on linear drive, its system of sensors and control. The analysis of working principle and classification of linear motor was done in the beginning part; analysis of the drives sensors system was made in the following chapter. The thesis also deals with the driver from the automation point of view, its tuning and behavior according to high dynamics and precise positioning. The last chapter discusses the issue of controlling two linear drives. Whole thesis was realized on a borrowed linear motor with driver from HIWIN corp.

Automatic Positioning for Solar Concentrator System

The aim of the work was to create an automatic positioning system, with optics for radiation concentration and a body for its collection, by monitoring the sun across the sky using a camera. At the beginning are introduced the concentrator systems and the movement of the sun from the perspective of the observer. Follows description of the various potential components which requires a functional system. The last part deal with the implementation of selected components for operation as a whole system, verification of functionality by accurate tracking of the sun across the sky and measuring the performance of the concentrator system with automatic positioning.

Mechanical design of experimental collimator

The bachelor thesis deals with the mechanical design of the correction collimator, which is used for the axial rotation of the optical assembly, and also with the mechanical design of the device for height positioning of the auxiliary telescope of correction collimator. The bachelor thesis is divided into six main chapters. These chapters deal with the principle of the optical systems functionality, the principle of the correction collimator functionality, there are also mentioned types of correction collimators, there is description of the problem, individual proposals of the two preparations, their analysis, selection of suitable variants and their design solutions. Drawings of individual parts and assemblies are part of the bachelor thesis.

This diploma thesis creates marketing strategy for the starting web project- sKým.cz. In the first part, I am presenting general knowledge necessary for understanding the issues of marketing strategy. The next part contains analysis of current market situation. The output of the diploma thesis are proposals of marketing strategy for project Ským.cz. These proposals are meant to increase the market share and the overall profitability of the project.
