Weekly lesson plan on the theme: Discovering treasures of our nature
TROJÁKOVÁ, Alena
The bachelor thesis's intended purpose was to create an environmental lesson plan. In the theoretical part, there was a described theoretical basis from which the lesson plan came out. This section defined environmental education, its goals, methods, and principles. There was devoted space to its application in kindergarten, the importance of the school garden, and the connection between environmental education and the curriculum for preschool education. Last but not least experience learning, game, and flow learning have been described. The practical part includes an assembled lesson plan, daily evaluation, and final evaluation with children. In the plan were environmental activities, which developed environmental sensivity and created a positive attitude toward nature. In the end, it was found that the most successful aktivity was the one carried out directly in the forest, namely the building of a village for gnomes. The least liked activity was walking to the forest, which was too long in their words. Another unliked activity was earthworm touching, but it was voluntary. Most children gave up on the activity and those who tried it found it unpleasant.

Peřina, Jan ; Maršíková, Hana (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The work aims to design an environmentally responsible school in a specific situation according to the innovative education principles focused on forest schools. The work reacts to the absence of forest schools in the Kroměříž region and offers an alternative to regular education systems and the regular appearance of the schools. The proposal is applied in Kroměříž. I design interventions in fore locations with different spatial characteristics. The interventions evolve existing features and characteristics of the location or make the accessible. Those interventions should be used not only for education but also for the locals.

Teaching History in Times of Climate Crisis What Implications Should Have Contemporary Environmental Crisis on Teaching History at Czech Secondary/Middle Schools?
Černínová, Anna ; Pinkas, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Najbert, Jaroslav (referee)
This thesis responds to the need to update education due to the urgency of current environmental problems and it tries to relate it to the school subject of history. The goal of this thesis is to answer at least partially how history could or should adapt to the ongoing climate crisis so that students have a better chance to successfully face its challenges. For such a task, it was first necessary to map out what concepts and approaches are used in Czechia and abroad to approach climate change in the context of education. I analyzed the environmental education in the RVP ZV (the curriculum for primary schools) and the publication Klima se mění - a co my? (Climate is changing - and what about us?) by Petr Daniš et al. Other possible approaches also resulted from the analysis of some foreign curricula - namely from Finland and New Jersey. Finally, I expanded the possible implications for history lessons thanks to the analysis of some other professional publications of foreign provenance. These were, for example, works related to transformative education or environmental history. Following on from these analyses, I tried to question in more detail some figures of modern discourse, which seem somehow dysfunctional due to the environmental crisis. In this way, I approached the problematic perception of...
Implementation of the Cross-Curricular Subject Environmental Education in the School Subject Art Greenery as a city oasis
Zálešáková, Ester ; Pfeiffer, Jan (advisor) ; Sedlák, Michal (referee)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to find a way to implement the cross-cutting topic Environmental Education into the Art Education subject through an art project called Greenery as an Oasis of the City. And to find out whether it is therefore possible to lead pupils of two primary school classes to the principles presented by Environmental Education through an art project. The art project was based on the personal experience of the students gained during a few-hour stay in a selected city park and art activities that made this stay special and contributed to a more perceptive view of the environment in which the students moved. To verify the results achieved, qualitative research methods were used in the form of a structured interview with five randomly selected pupils from both classes. The students' answers showed that even through an art project, it is possible to strengthen the students' positive relationship with nature and the environment and contribute to the acquisition of internal motivation for a respectful and sustainable approach to nature. At the same time, it emerged from the pupils' answers and reactions that the overall benefit from the project for each pupil depended on the approach they took to the project, to what extent they concentrated on individual activities and to what...
