For the research purposes, families with children aged between 6 and 18 suffering from ASD and simultaneously using the social services, were selected. The interviews were conducted with a total of eight informants, some of whom were from the author´s wider family and others were selected using the snowball method. Subsequently, the interviews were exactly rewritten and evaluated using the open coding method and the pencil - paper technique. This bachelor thesis can be used as study material or as feedback, especially for organisations in which families with children suffering from ASD use the social services. Through the research, the thesis identifies that parents of the children suffering from ASD use five specific social services that help them either to use their free time for themselves to rest or to take care for other family members. Without social services, families would hardly imagine their day-to-day life, which is very demanding because of the ASD disease.
