The Negrelli viaduct in Prague

The Negrelli viaduct in Prag The subject of this thesis is one of the most important bridge constructions in Prague, a railway viaduct called by its creator Negrelli viaduct. It's goal is to put Negrelli Viaduct into the context of the time it was created and to incorporate it into the development of the Prague bridge architecture, thus comparing the technical nature of these engineering structures. The analysis of the viaduct construction emphasizes its history, an analysis of the current reconstruction, especially from the point of view of architectural solutions and heritage care. The end of the thesis is devoted to the tendencies of the present time of the formation of the public space within the viaduct itself.

Architectural progression of the building of the main railway station in Prague

In bachelor thesis I examine a architectural progression of the building of the main railway station in Prague. I will focus on the main evolutional phase of the building when the start of the construction of the future station dates back to 1869 and was in the Neo-Renaissance style. Another evolutional milestone is the beginning of the 20th century when it began to be built in an Art Nouveau building designed by Josef Fanta. In the 70s, there was extensive reconstruction by architect Josef Dandy and early 21st century has begun reconstruction led by Patrick Kotas.

Language of Preschool Childern Come from Social and Cultural Handicapped Environment

The thesis followed up language of preschool children,that come from sociallly and culturallly disadvantaged environment. The aim of thesis was to describe language of socially and culturally handicapped preschoolers, specially the aspects of syntax, morphology, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Further to describe language of preschool children without the handicap. Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part researched children language development. It describes some of linguistic and sociolinguistic theories, follows up the development of specific linguistic aspects in preschool age and characterizes speech disorders. Thesis is also contains a description of social and cultural handicap, characterizes groups of social and cultural handicapped children and reviews of legislative documents about social and cultural handicap. Third chapter focuses on Roman minority language specifics. There is description of Roman language, Romany ethnolect of Czech language and some of communication specifics which are based on cultural differences. Practical part is description of qualitative research on language of preschool children. Opportunities and barriers of yield management in a selected hotel

This thesis deals with the theory of yield management as an effective method of achieving business goals, presenting its application on a particular accommodation facility. As a result of analyzing the existing yield management techniques used in the facility, further solutions are proposed to increase its revenue by means of using yield management techniques of differential pricing, overbooking and demand segmentation.
