V bakalářské práci se budu zabývat architektonickým vývojem budovy Hlavního nádraží v Praze. Zaměřím se na hlavní vývojové fáze budovy, kdy počátek výstavby budoucího nádraží sahá do roku 1869 a probíhala v neorenesančním slohu. Dalším vývojovým zlomem je počátek 20. století, kdy začala být budována secesní budova podle návrhu Josefa Fanty. V 70. letech probíhala rozsáhlá přestavba podle architekta Josefa Dandy a na počátku 21. století byla započata rekonstrukce pod vedením Patrika Kotase. In bachelor thesis I examine a architectural progression of the building of the main railway station in Prague. I will focus on the main evolutional phase of the building when the start of the construction of the future station dates back to 1869 and was in the Neo-Renaissance style. Another evolutional milestone is the beginning of the 20th century when it began to be built in an Art Nouveau building designed by Josef Fanta. In the 70s, there was extensive reconstruction by architect Josef Dandy and early 21st century has begun reconstruction led by Patrick Kotas.
