Comprehensive child developmenz in preschool upbringing

This bachelor thesis is comprehensively devoted to the entire preschool period. It primarily focuses on child development where all branches of development are described, always in relation to a specific age period. The interweaving of knowledge about development into other areas closely related to the profession of a kindergarten teacher is also included. A closer look at developmental areas can be much more useful than it might seem at first glance. It makes it possible to solve complex problems such as professional burnout or issues of appropriate motivation. It makes it possible to improve communication between all participants in the educational process. It helps all teachers in getting to know children and choosing a suitable educational approach. It helps teachers in choosing activities. Last but not least, it helps to understand the world through children's eyes, which is essential for all educators who want only happy children in kindergartens. Červený vrch primary school in Prague 6. It addresses the factors that influence the work of these children and the methods that can be used in practice. In the theoretical part of the thesis, it contains a definition of the terms behavioural and learning disorders, their causes, possibilities of re education including selected methods for working with these pupils. In the practical part of the thesis the focu aged from eight to twelve years. Interviews with children, parents, assistants and teachers were used in the research. In addition, the actual work with the pupils involved in the research. These met observation, interviews, working with pupils in the classroom, trying out the techniques described in the theoretical section and collaborative assessment. All in collaboration with teaching assistants and teachers. Their work in class, learning outcomes and behaviour during breaks were assessed. This bachelor's thesis explores the topic of authority as a key element in the educational process and examines its understanding by students and teachers at a secondary school. It primarily describes the significance of authority, its key theories, and seeks to elucidate respect, as it is closely related to authority. The thesis also addresses upbringing and discipline, as these factors significantly influence students' perception of authority. Furthermore, the thesis discusses parents and teachers as primary and secondary authorities in a child's life. The aim of this work is to shed light on the issue of authority in connection with the school environment using qualitative research methods in the field of Pedagogy. The practical part aimed to explore how students at Gymnázium Sokolov perceive this issue and subsequently compare this data. Data was collected through six semi-structured interviews. The bachelor's thesis deals with the approaches of primary school teachers towards the development of pupils' socio-emotional skills. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the concept of socio-emotional skills is explained, which is thereafter elaborated in the terms of key components, meaning and methods that enable their development. The text then deals with methods of including the development of social- emotional skills in the school environment. Empirical research is provided qualitatively in the form of semi-structured interviews with primary school teachers. The goal is to find out how teachers develop pupils' socio- emotional skills during their teaching activities. Furthermore, to investigate how teachers understand socio-emotional skills, what methods they use to develop them and whether they are supported by the school to amplify these skills in pupils.
Learning strategies of high school students

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of learning strategies and styles of high school students. The aim of this thesis is to describe the learning strategies and styles of students with regard to the use of modern technology nowadays. The aim of the practical part is to find out if and how high school students use artificial intelligence during the educational process and what advantages and disadvantages they see in using modern technologies. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains individual definitions of the terms strategies and learning styles, their classification and characteristics. In the final chapter of the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on modern technologies. The practical part is based on qualitative research, in which data were obtained using the method of semi-structured interviews. The research sample consists of five high school students.
Views of pedagogical workers on children's communication skills

The bachelor thesis focuses on the communication skills of children in the first grade of primary education. The aim of this thesis is to find out the perspective of teaching staff on communication skills in children. The thesis is divided into two main parts, namely theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, the concepts related to the mentioned issue are explained. It is, for example, communication, its types and methods, as well as psychomotor development, with which speech defects are associated. This theoretical knowledge is applied in the second part, the practical part, which investigates how pedagogical staff view children's communication skills, what experience they have with this, and how they think these skills can best be developed in children. In order to answer these questions, qualitative research that deals with the issue in more detail was chosen, namely a semi-structured interview. The research sample consists of five female teachers who are classroom teachers in the first grades of primary school.
Left-handedness at school environment: a perspective on motor skills and graphomotor skills

(in English): The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of left-handedness in school environment from the perspective of motor skills and graphomotor skills. It is divided into a theoretical part, aiming to introduce the term laterality, its types, various forms, and describe the connection of laterality with heredity. It focuses on diagnostic methods for determining laterality and describes left-handedness from a historical and modern perspective. It further concentrates on the methodology of left-handed writing, tools for left-handers, and the motor aspect among left-handed pupils. It also explores tools for left-handed individuals and deals with various issues as well as advantages that left-handedness brings into sports. The research part aims to verify what tools left-handed individuals use in education today. With the help of qualitative research, it detects how educators work with left-handed pupils in their classes. It describes problems and specific situations encountered by left- handed pupils both in education and physical education. It also focuses on whether teaching left-handed pupils in sports causes problems for teachers.
Achievement motivation and learning style preferences in different types of secondary schools

This paper discusses learning styles and school performance motivation in secondary school students. In high school, students spend a considerable amount of their academic life and expend a considerable amount of energy to achieve the goal of successful completion of their education. Their motivation towards this goal can be varied, with some driven by family tradition, while others are motivated by fear of failure. Learning and expanding knowledge are a key part of secondary school life. There is a wide range of different learning styles, and not every style is appropriate for every student. The study involved 3,943 respondents (16-19 years old), of which 884 were in the group of students studying in secondary grammar school, 2,503 in the group of students studying in secondary vocational school, and 556 in the group of students studying in secondary vocational training school. Methods: school performance motivation questionnaire and VARK. Analysis of results: descriptive statistics, Chi-square, Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, Mann-Whitney U test, and Cramer's V or Rank-biserial correlation to estimate an effect size. Cooperation between teaching assistant and teacher in primary school

in English The functional cooperation between the teaching assistant and the teacher serves not only for the high-quality integration of a student with special educational needs into the process of a regular school but also for harmonious functioning in the classroom. This diploma thesis therefore aims to find out how cooperation between teaching assistants and the teachers for whom the assistants work takes place in primary schools. A partial goal is to find out how school management perceives these collaborations and whether, from their point of view, collaboration in the workplace works. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the definition of a teacher's assistant and his job content. This section further describes the communication and mutual cooperation of the teaching assistant within the school. The research investigation is designed as a quantitative study. The research respondents are teaching assistants, teachers who work with them and principals of primary schools in the Benešov district. Three self-constructed questionnaires were chosen as the research method. The topic of this thesis is: " Current Issues in Family Bilingual Education". In the theoretical part of the thesis, I provide readers with an overview of the issue of bilingualism. I focus in more detail on the external and internal conditions of language acquisition. I delve into linguistic and cultural specifics and types of bilingualism. I address linguistically mixed families, methods of bilingual education, and potential communication barriers in the second language. Finally, I introduce a specific organization supporting children in bilingualism, where research is conducted. The thesis is based on a qualitative research strategy. The practical part utilizes a semi- structured interview strategy. The main goal of the empirical section is to ascertain the proven methods of bilingual education in the families of the respondents. The research part is based on the experiences of parents actively raising children in bilingualism. The thesis highlights that bilingualism is not automatic, but requires certain conditions, particularly strategic education within the family. In practice, the thesis can serve as inspiration and support for parents forming linguistically mixed families or their relatives.
