Criminological Aspects of Organised Crime Abstract The aim of this thesis is to provide an insight to the formation and functioning of organized criminal groups together with work on their exposure. In the first part of the thesis, it offers the basic characteristics of the terms organized crime and organized criminal group. It deals with organized crime in the Czech Republic and the impact of the recent COVID-19 pandemic. It distinguishes between the terms organized crime group and an organized group and displays why the definition is so important from a criminal law point of view. The second part presents the perpetrators of organized crime, both from the point of view of their motivation for criminal activity, and from the point of view of the demands placed on such perpetrators. Finally, it divides the perpetrators into groups and analyses the perpetrators which are in the position of so-called white horses, including their criminal liability. If we already have an idea about the perpetrators, we can continue in the third part with the very formation of organized criminal groups, namely the causes of their formation, the function of trust and violence, the expansion of the group with new members and finally also the personality of the leader. Liability of third persons for a child

This thesis deals with the issue of third party liability for a child in Czech private law. Its aim is to analyse the basic legal relationship between parent and child, to define their mutual rights and obligations and to describe the concept of delegation of these to a third party. Particular attention is paid to the liability of third persons in the exercise of the rights and obligations so conferred under Act No. 192/2021 Coll., which amended Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, with effect from 1 July 2021. A separate chapter deals with the liability of third persons for harm, specifying further the liability for harm caused by the child and harm caused to the child. With the help of an analysis of recent case law, the thesis outlines the possibilities of minimising the risk of such liability.

Cultural specifics of the UNICEF's social marketing communication in selected countries: Czech Republic, France, USA

This diploma thesis called "Cultural specifics of the UNICEF's non-commercial marketing communication in selected countries: Czech Republic, France, USA" analysis and compares non-commercial marketing communication of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in selected countries. The study aims at understanding to which extent local culture and it values sets are represented in the UNICEF's communication on the national level. The prerequisite for this study was the fact that UNICEF had officialy adopted glocalisation to its global communication strategy. This approach is unique in combining both local as well as global communication traits. UNICEF i sone of the few non-commercial global organizations that seeks to adapt its global vision and mission to its target audience at the nation-state lavel. Therefore, i tis important to further explore it as a potential role model for other non-profit organizations.

New evangelization programs

- NEW EVANGELIZATION PROGRAMS The intent of this thesis was to ascertain whether the two selected evangelization programs reflect the current situation in and the needs of the Church and society and whether they are able to pass the gospel comprehensibly and effectively. Selection of the programs was based on the conclusions of the Second Vatican Council and the most important post-council documents commenting on the topic of evangelization. The empirical part of the thesis deals with the course of the programs, one of which focuses on external evangelization and the other one on internal evangelization. The aim is to describe the tools used for evangelization and pastorate. Determined hypotheses are verified through a questionnaire ascertaining the effect of each program and the extent of their reception by both participants and organizers. This thesis is about multiple myeloma and the history of its treatment. The purpose of this study was describe important drugs from the first documated case to the present. Currently, there are new drugs which are able to cause remission of the disease which last for ten years.

Účinnost změn daňové sazby z příjmů korporací ve vztahu k HDP

Bachelor thesis deals with an investigation of efficiency of changes of corporate tax rates in relation with GDP. In theoretical part there are introduced basic concepts and principles of taxation. Further, there is specifically described corporate income tax. In the practical part there is analysed the relationship between implicit and nominal corporate income tax rate in the Czech Republic. In the next section there is an examination of the effectiveness of changes in corporate income tax rates in relation to gross domestic product. Both of these investigations are carried out using simple regression analysis. The main result of the research is that the implicit rate is 71% dependent on the nominal rate. Further, it has been proven that corporate income tax rate's decrease has no negative impact on GDP.
