The diploma thesis deals with the study of hydration of reactive powder concrete under hydrotermal conditions. The theoretical part describes the properties of materials and additives used for the preparation of mixtures. The following describes the principles and requiments for the materials for preparing the reactive powder concrete. The practical part is studied design method mix and the impact of materials to the consistency of paste. The effect of cample placement on flexural and compressive strength of the prepared mixtures was observed. The samples were stored under standart laboratory conditions and under hydrothermal conditions. The phase composition of the samples was monitored by X-ray diffraction analysis and the mocrostructure by scanning electron microscopy.
Molecular mechanisms of sleep homeostasis
Dvořáková, Tereza ; Spišská, Veronika (advisor) ; Rydzyková, Tereza (referee)
Sleep is an essential physiological process driven by a circadian system with its main endogenous pacemaker in the suprachiasmatic nucleus of hypothalamus (SCN) and by sleep homeostasis, a process reflecting time spent awake. This work is focused on basic characteristics of sleep, describes the two process model of sleep regulation and sleep homeostasis theory which connects synaptic plasticity with sleep. Next it describes the function and principles of the circadian system including the synthesis of melatonin and the principles of homeostatic sleep regulation. Within the sleep homeostasis, the focus is on the role of dopamine, prostaglandin D2 and especially adenosine. Next are discussed genes involved in sleep homeostasis and connecting it with synaptic plasticity. Last are mentioned alterations in homeostatic regulation of sleep in people suffering from depression and the final chapter focuses on the interactions between circadian and homeostatic process, particularly on the role of clock genes in sleep homeostasis. Key words: sleep, circadian system, sleep homeostasis, adenosine
The transfer of the Germans from Jindřichův Hradec
Dvořáková, Tereza ; Michela, Miroslav (advisor) ; Stehlík, Michal (referee)
The transfer of the Germans took place after the Second World War and it could be divided into two stages - a wild transfer and an organized transfer. Jindřichův Hradec was mainly a Czech town, where just 5 percent of the Germans lived before the war. After the Munich Agreement had been signed, Jindřichův Hradec was attached to the Second Republic. However, the town became a Czech peninsula as the most of its surroundings was the part of the Third Reich. During the war the germanization of citizens took place in Jindřichův Hradec and the post-war transfer was also conducted there as it happened in many other places after the Second World War. The main part of my thesis deals with the transfer of the Germans from the town as well as the closest villages. The aim of this study was to investigate how the transfer was carried out, how many people had to leave and on the other hand how many of them were permitted to stay and why. Furthermore I also address the establishment of detention camps and folk justice. The thesis covers not only the progress of the whole transfer but it takes into consideration turning points which could have affected it as well as it could have had an impact on the post-war situation. The study is proceeded mainly from local primary sources, especially a fund Okresní úřad...
Criminal aspects of corruption
Dvořáková, Tereza ; Galovcová, Ingrid (advisor) ; Tlapák Navrátilová, Jana (referee)
Criminal Aspects of Corruption Corruption is currently a serious social problem which can be dealt with by means of criminal law, by virtue of the ultima ratio principle. This thesis deals with the issue of corruption from the perspective of substantive criminal law, especially with bribery offences included in the third part of Title X of the special part of the Czech Criminal Code. The introductory part is focused on general issues of corruption, including problematic aspects of the definition of this term and characterization of various forms of corruption. It also includes a subchapter that focuses on efforts to measure corruption and to compare the corruption situation in various countries. The main focus of this work then lies in the analysis of the current legislation of the offences of bribery. It is considered whether it allows effective sanctioning of bribery offenders, whether it acts as a suitable mean of deterring potential offenders, and whether it meets other general requirements, such as certainty of the offences. Attention is furthermore paid to the key notions of corruption offences, such as the notion of bribe or the general interest, and the interpretative problems associated with them. Subsequently, the individual crimes are analyzed, for which the conclusions expressed by...
Process of Czech Audiovisual Legislation after 1989: Multiple Streams Framework Perspective
Pok, František ; Novotný, Vilém (advisor) ; Czesany Dvořáková, Tereza (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the process of creating an Audiovisual Act in the context of the transformation of audiovisual legislation in the Czech Republic after 1989. Although there was increasing pressure on change over time, as the original legislation did not reflect the epoch and was inadequate, this process lasted almost twenty years. The aim of the thesis is to understand the dynamics of the change in the process of creating audiovisual legislation, focusing on Act No. 496/2012 Coll. Next, identify the actors and factors that have had the greatest impact on policy change. To do so, this work uses and applies the theoretical framework of the Multiple Streams Framework, through which it sets the basic prerequisites for research. The methodological approach is a qualitative research and a research design of a single-case study. In terms of data collection, the text is based on six expert semi-structured interviews that form the base of primary research. Subsequent data are in the form of various documents, studies, press and annual reports, stenographies from the Chamber of Deputies, or, for example, the talk shows in which the process was discussed. Data analysis was conducted using thematic coding technique. Audiovisual legislation entered the political agenda in 2006, but it did not...

Animation on the Periphery
Hanáková, Veronika ; Czesany Dvořáková, Tereza (advisor) ; Kubíček, Jiří (referee)
The thesis attempts to precisely describe the production of animation in the context of the state- socialist mode of production. Through the question of "autonomy" for cartoons and puppets films in the era of Kamil Pixa (1969-1985), we will try to specify the position of animation within the re- centralized organization and dramaturgical section in the Short Film. In the context of the normalization period, animation had a different position and function compared to the feature films. Using the example of a studio in Čiklova Street, we outline a model of making a puppet film that was more like a "craft workshop" that retained its notional autonomy as long as it had its own space.
Nutritional and functional status of clients living in homes for the elderly

Objectives: The aim of this cross-sectional study was to assess the nutritional status and physical performance of the individuals over 65 years living in home for the elderly and as the main research question to assess whether there is a correlation between impaired nutritional status and worsened physical performance in older adults. Also tests whether the unwanted weight loss for the last 3 month affects impaired results in a standardized SPPB test and handgrip test. And finally, verify whether the optimal BMI valided for the elderly predispozes a good physical performance and considered as a protective factor in case of frailty - on functional status. Methods: The research was executed by a quantitative method with the investigation of respondents as a data collection technique. To elaborate the practical part and answer the research questions were used outputs from nutritional status testing (BMI, nutritional status according to MNA-FF, SMI) and functional evaluation (dynamometry, SPPB battery). The results of these variables diagnosed seniors in the norm, at risk and with pathology. Results: The resulting research sample consisted of 40 seniors, of whom 29 were women (72,5 %) and 11 were men (27,5 %). The normal nutritional status was found in the majority of participants - 67,5 %, the risk...
