This work focuses on abnormal manifestations autodestruktivního behavior. There are a number of approaches, which is we can seize. Some take into account the motivation level of other physical damage or method of execution. The autodestruktivitu can also be seen positions from different disciplines. Not only psychiatry, but also philosophy, sociology and especially psychology provides us with tools for deeper understanding.
Depression and Insulin Resistance
Hess, Zdeněk ; Rosolová, Hana (advisor) ; Šimon, Jaroslav (referee) ; Souček, Miroslav (referee) ; Beran, Jiří (referee)
Introduction: Metabolic syndrome and depression are considered to be important risk factors for the development of cardiovascular diseases. The prevalence of metabolic syndrome is estimated to be around 25% of the adult population in industrialized countries, including the population of Czech Republic. The prevalence of depression is estimated to be around 15% of the same adult population. It is not clear yet on the base of poor literature, which is so far available, whether there is a causal relationship between these factors or not. Objective: To try to find a relationship between metabolic syndrome and depression in a population sample using clinical and metabolic parameters. Methods: The prevalence of depressivity or other psychopathologies was evaluated with the use of self-report questionnaires in a randomly selected population sample of 259 people living in Pilsen. The questionnaires were mailed to the subjects. Those of them who responded were invited to the examination of anthropometric and laboratory parameters defining the metabolic syndrome and to the examination of some other parameters. The occurrence of risk factors of the metabolic syndrome of insulin resistance and the relationship between depression and metabolic syndrome was investigated. Metabolic syndrome of insulin resistance...
Expropriation of land and structures
Tématu a...
Risk factors for atherosclerosis and its potential pharmacological effects in patients with coronary artery disease and lower limb
Hromádka, Milan ; Filipovský, Jan (advisor) ; Piťha, Jan (referee) ; Šimon, Jaroslav (referee)
1 Statin therapy in patients with peripheral artery obstructive disease (PAOD) 1.1 Patients with lipid metabolism disorders Simvastatin therapy with the dose titration adjusted to the effect led to the prolongation of claudication interval and to the elevation of ankle-brachial pressure index, which was statistically significant at the interval of 18 months after starting the therapy. At the same time we observed normalization of lipid levels and the lowest levels of oxidative stress markers. Statin use was also associated with lowering homocysteine level. 1.2 Patients without lipid metabolism disorders - the influence on laboratory parameters and functional capacity In patients without lipid metabolism disorder, treated with simvastatin 20 mg daily, we noted an improvement, i.e. prolongation of claudication interval and elevation of ankle-brachial pressure index, while in the control group treated only with a diet we observed further deterioration of capacity. In the control group, the parameters of lipid metabolism were statistically significantly worse after six months and this trend remained even in further control visits with HDL cholesterol slightly lowering. In the simvastatin group, a statistically significant decrease of LDL occurred during several months as well as elevation of HDL...

SW model of PLC controlled crossing
Simon, Jakub ; Bílek, Michal (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is to create a software model to control various types of crossroads using programmable logic controller. The control system is created on Siemens PLC SIMATIC S7-300. The programmes of system are written in different programming languages such as GRAPH, STL, LAD. The visualisation is also created to control by using of SCADA system InTouch from the company Wonderware. The visualisation comunicates with the PLC using a DAServer. The visualisation has both, input and output elements, so it is not intended for supervising the run of the control system only, but also for simple user‘s control, using a graphical user interface. It is possible to control the start and stop events of the system, and to switch between different crossroad's control modes and also to trigger the pedestrian's button.
