School principal at the implementer of changes affecting the quality of relations between the teaching stuff

This diploma thesis is focused on the position on headmaster and the relations between the teachers. The thesis has been devided into several chapters and subchapters. In the theoretical basis of this thesis there are the main basic concepts explained as school, culture of the school, headmaster, personality of the headmaster, vision of the school, concepts of leaderships and management. The main goal of this diploma thesis is an analysis and description of quality of the relations of teachers stuff. Secondary, the thesis approaches following questions: What kind of leadership has been applied at the chosen school? How and to what extent can the headmaster influence relations in the teachers stuff? How do the teachers perceive the personality of the headmaster? An analysis of questionnaires and interview are the main methods used to answer these questions. The final results of this research have been summarized in the conclusion. Education of foreign students in the emergency situation

The diploma thesis on the topic Education of foreign students in the emergency situation deals with the integration of Ukrainian pupils into a regular elementary school. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The first chapter defines the necessary terminology and individual terms related to a pupil with a different mother tongue with his arrival in a new country and with integration into the educational process. The second chapter builds on the explained terms and defines the right of a child to education in the context of national and transnational documents. Other chapters are focused on the process of admission of a pupil into a regular elementary school, on the possibilities of support, on the possible ways of financing, possible barriers and support measures. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the definition of an extraordinary life situation and the possibilities of support. The research investigation is conducted as a descriptive case study of a particular primary school and aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the process of pupil inclusion and education in the context of an extraordinary life situation of a selected primary school. Possibilities of cognitive functions in seniors

The thesis deals with the possibilities of development of cognitive functions in the elderly. It focuses on the most frequently impaired cognitive functions in the elderly. The main objectives of the thesis were to find out how cognitive functions are stimulated in the elderly in residential services or in homes for the elderly, in field care services and also in seniors living independently who depend on the support of family members. Another aim was to develop a specific intervention programme that would have a positive impact on the development of cognitive functions in the elderly. The results, obtained from the analysis of the individual interviews, are compiled in three case studies, which are divided according to the services mentioned above. The results of this qualitative research indicate that in each of the forms of care studied, attempts are made to address the senior and their cognitive functions. In some cases, a targeted focus on memory only was found, while in others they focus on the all-round development of cognitive functions. However, they always work with the individual needs and health status of the senior. - anglicky Title: Development of graphomotorics in pre-school children The present diploma thesis is focused on the topic of development of graphomotorics in pre- school children. The theoretical part deals with the description of children in pre-school age and everything related to this stage of life: the curricular documents, the concept of school preparedness and readiness as well as its diagnostics. The second half of the theoretical part describes the area of graphomotoric skills - its development and stages it undergoes, children drawings and its development and finally an overview of possible roadblocks and dysfunctions in graphomotorics. The empirical presents the result of research conducted via questionnaire for parents of pre-school children. Its aim was to uncover how well the parents are informed about and how much they are interested in the development of graphomotorics of their pre- school children. Inclusive policy in elementary school

This master thesis focuses on the still highly debated topic of inclusive education. The main aim of the thesis is to investigate the approach to execution of inclusive education at selected elementary school. Through research questions, the thesis finds out what circumstances contribute to implementation and acceptance of the inclusive education. The theoretical part of the thesis, based on the literature, describes the topic of inclusive education related to its development, legislative anchoring, and current perception. It also discusses the nature of an inclusive school, its establishment, evaluation, basic principles, participants and, last but not least, the benefits and pitfalls of inclusive education. The practical part of the thesis contains qualitative research carried out using the case study method. To gather the research data, structured interviews with nine respondents is used. The research investigates quality of the inclusive policy at the selected elementary school. It examines the school's openness to the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs and whether their education is properly staffed. Lenka Felcmanová ABSTRACT: In my diploma thesis I deal with the issue of partial functions and their possibilities for development in the preschool age and the early school age. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of the preschool age, the school age, the school entrance age, partial functions and their development, deficits, diagnostics and possible intervention. The practical part analyzes the results of research evaluating the effectiveness of an intervention program focused on the development of selected functions, which includes input diagnostic of functions of the selected groups of children aged 5 to 7 years, the intervention program and output diagnostic after its completion.
