Comparative study of finite element method, isogeometric analysis, and finite volume method in elastic wave propagation of stress discontinuities
Berezovski, A. ; Kolman, Radek ; Blažek, Jiří ; Kopačka, Ján ; Gabriel, Dušan ; Plešek, Jiří
A comparative study of Finite Element Method, Isogeometric Analysis, and Finite Volume Method in numerical simulation of one-dimensional wave propagation problems of stress discontinuities in elastic solids is presented. The special attention is paid to accuracy, convergence, and stability of tested numerical methods and the appearance of spurious oscillations and damping effects occurring close to theoretical sharp wavefronts.

Mathematics in Physics
BLAŽEK, Jiří
The presented work deals with mathematical tools, which are used to describe harmonic oscillations and waves in secondary schools. Harmonic quantities are most frequently represented as projections of rotating symbolic vectors ? phasors, nevertheless most attention is paid to representation of harmonic quantities by complex numbers. It is shown that both these methods are in fact formalized methods of solution of differential-algebraic equations, describing relevant physical phenomena. All these approaches are applied simultaneously and compared to each other during solution of model examples. The work is primarily intended for teachers of physics in secondary schools and for students of physics of pedagogical faculties.

Pšeničková, Petra ; Procházková, Markéta (advisor) ; Blažek, Jiří (referee)
This Bachelors degree work focuses on marketing of services in advertising company. This work is divided into two parts, the theoretical and practical part. The first part describes the literary information about marketing of services and basic specificity of advertisement, with the intention of outdoor advertisement. The practical part represents marketing of services in advertising company Minds and analyses customers satisfaction with services through a questionnaire. The gained dates are evaluated and interpreted.
