Attitudes of adolescents in institutional care towards paternity
Prokopová, Johana ; Novotná, Hana (advisor) ; Pernicová, Kristina (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with conception of family of adolescents who are placed in institutional care. The target group of adolescent men aged 15-17 years, who are placed in a diagnostic institute for youth, was selected. The main aim of this work was to find out what attitudes these chosen adolescents have toward paternity. The theoretical part of the work focuses on selected characteristics of adolescence, parenthood and the specifics of the diagnostic institute for youth and children or adolescents who are placed in it. It also describes attitudes and possibilities how to measure them. The empirical part of the work represents a qualitative research, which was carried out within this thesis. A semi-structured interview was chosen as a method of data collection, after that the data were rewritten and analysed using interpretive phenomenological analysis (IPA). The results of the research introduce a typology of ideal roles that the figure of the father should fulfill according to the respondents. In their conception of family, selected adolescents mostly work with the traditional concept of family. For them, the fatherhood means for the most part the responsibility that the father should assume for the whole family, which is confronted with respondents' current unpreparedness. The results also...
Portrayal of Czech theatres in their publications
Prokopová, Jitka ; Christov, Petr (advisor) ; Topolová, Barbara (referee)
The aim of Bachelor 's thesis is to present three city theatres - Žatec Municipal Theatre, Slaný Municipal Theatre and Vrchlický Theatre in Louny from the perspective of their history and their media footprint, especially in print. Considering the cities' historical and geographical connections, I will be covering the theatres' common history, which is often similar. The theatres even share a type of operation - stagiona, which is why this thesis explains the term in the introduction. The second part is dedicated to the media image of the theatres. It shows not only what types of prints are present in the archives and libraries, but also how diverse their contents are.
Numerical solution of compressible flow
Prokopová, Jaroslava ; Feistauer, Miloslav (advisor)
This work deals with the problem of inviscid, compressible flow in a timedependent domain. We describe mathematical properties of the Euler equations and the system of governing equations is solved with the aid of the discontinuous Galerkin finite element method (DGFEM) in the time-indepentent domain. The main aim of this work is the study of this problem in time-dependent domains. For this reason the Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) method is presented. The governing equations are formulated in the ALE formulation and discretized in space and time by the DGFEM. Shortly we mention the shock capturing of the obtained scheme and the solution of the resulting linear system with the aid of Generalized Minimal Residual (GMRES) method. At the end of this work we present and compare results obtained by two different ALE formulations of the governing equations in the rectangular domain with a moving part of lower wall.
Team succes depending on individual performance of the players in each position in the 1st league of men's and women's volleyball
Prokopová, Jolana ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Přibyl, Ivan (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the direct dependence of the match outcome on the success of players in individual positions, moreover, the thesis also examines whether it is possible for an individual's performance to influence the outcome. This will show which playing positions and their activities are most important for the development and outcome of the match. Furthermore, this work will compare the results of male and female category and explain the difference in these categories. For the practical part, a statistical method has been created, by which the necessary data were gathered during the matches of Dobřichovice women's and men's first league teams. The collected data for each category were then evaluated, the categories were compared with each other and conclusions were drawn. The acquired data from this diploma thesis could subsequently help with creating training units in the training process. By composing this thesis, the author has verified a multitude of information gained through her volleyball practice. Key words: volleyball, player, position, success rate
Multidisciplinary team in the Implementation of Centres of Mental Health
Prokopová, Johana ; Dobiášová, Karolína (advisor) ; Kotrusová, Miriam (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with multidisciplinary teams of Centres of Mental Health, which are built within the implementation of the Reform of the psychiatric care system in the Czech Republic. One of the aims of this work is to find out the role of Centres of Mental Health and their multidisciplinary teams in the system of care for people with mental illness. The thesis also aims to find out how this new element of psychiatric care system in the Czech republic works in practice. The implementation and functioning of multidisciplinary teams are viewed from the perspective of their members, with whom seven interviews were conducted. Based on the testimonies of the interviewees, the theses presents the benefits of working in a multidisciplinary team with a target group of people with mental illnesses. In addition to the benefits of working in such teams, also the complications, which the staff experiences are discussed.
Participation of experts and professionals in investigations
Prokopová, Jana ; Musil, Jan (advisor) ; Krupička, Jiří (referee)
Participation of experts and professionals in investigations Abstract The topic of the thesis is the involvement of experts and professionals in criminal investigations. It is a compilation work, using the content analysis of books, internet, and magazine sources. Following a brief background on the history of experts' activities, it focuses on the legal regulation of experts / expert witnesses and their conduct, in particular in criminal proceedings. Terms such as a professional, consultant to a body involved in criminal proceedings, expert witness, expert institute, expert opinion, and professional opinion are described in detail. The thesis then outlines the options of using various expert activities in investigators' work. Referring to her practical experience, the author presents the most frequently used forms of cooperation with experts, and current trends in applying professional opinions in pre- trial proceedings. The thesis also deals with certain methods of obtaining and assessing evidence relevant for criminal investigation. The selection and appointment of an expert, and the structure of an expert...
