The personality of chronic disease pupil and possibilities of his/her development in cognitive and metacognitive area

This graduate thesis deals with a pupil with chronic disease and how his/ her disease is reflected in the sphere of knowing, reflections and learning. In the first part, we limit the concept of chronic disease and outline classification of chronic diseases and their features. We also deal with the influence of the disease on a child's psyche and the special characteristics combined with a pupil's chronic disease in the school environment and, subsequently, we pay attention to problems of the personality of a pupil with chronic disease in the context of knowing and learning. In the empirical part, we try to find typical elements in the field of these pupils' learning styles.

Jejím hlavním smyslem však je na pozadí celé školní dráhy dítěte sledovat jedno z klíčových období vývoje, a to jak specifické poruchy učení ovlivňují rozhodování o volbě povolání a jaké důsledky mají pro uplatnění v životě. Diplomová práce má charakter teoreticko-empirický, její součástí jsou tři kazuistiky dospělých lidí se specifickou poruchou učení.
Education at the Time of Family Crisis

Anotation: The aim of the work is to look into the relationship between education and family crisis. The first part is concerned with the issue of education. It specifies the definition of education, the connections between upbringing and education, also it describes the effects of diverse educational styles in child development and their consequent behaviour and actions in society. The influence of social environment on the individual is not omitted. The second part is focused on studying educational significance of family. The work describes the historical development of family and makes an attempt to identify the origins of crisis that is much discussed topic today. It is trying to capture the influence of family on the education for future generation.
Fear as a part of educational unsuccessfulness

This bachelor's labour, in its theoretical level, deals with fear in its general concept. Its functions, symptoms and possible reasons. One part informs about prevention and reduction of fear. Fear also affects cognitive functions, especially a memory, thereby an effeciency of childern at contemporary school which is mostly based on the memorial learning. In reference to the childern's fear, it definetely isn't only an anxiety connected with an apprehension from the educational unsuccessfulness. On how the child will be happy and successful, also appeals his position among schoolmates, position in the children's school society. That's why this bachelor's labour contains a chapter about the problems which arise from major disturbance of children's group relations (aggressiveness, violence, chicane). The chapter which is closely linked with two previous, is a treatise on the influence of the family education on the child and his personality. Connection of this chapter with the first part of the labour, lies in the coherency of the method of family education and his disposals to anxiety. Behavioural disorders of adolescents in the pedagogical process

The dissertation dealt with the issue of behavioral disorders of adolescents in the learning process, the causes of behavioral disorders, their evaluation and classification. Its aim was to explore behavioral problems, which largely undermine the educational process. To assess and identify the most common types of behavior disorders, which contribute to the lack of discipline in the educational process. The work consists of two key areas. The first is a theoretical part, by processing literature sources, that describes and explains the main causes of behavioral disorders, behavioral definition, evaluation and classification. Furthermore, the work deals with the ADHD syndrome, the possible causes and the appropriate procedures when working with children, discipline in the classroom and management of the class. The second part is an empirical probe. Its aim was to use the gathered data to assess and identify the most common types of behavior disorders, which contribute to the lack of discipline in the educational process.
Emotional intelligence as part of intelligent behaviour

For my bachelor work I have chosen emotional intelligence and it's function in the course of human life as a subject of my investigation. I wrote about it's importance, function and possibilities of it's development. My work is divided into three parts. The first part contains general informations, definitions of basic terms, the relation of emotional intelligence and cognitive intelligence, and it's comparison with social intelligence. In this part I also mentioned debatable factors affecting EQ. The second part of my paper is the most important. Here I have done a survey of what is the function of emotional intelligence during childhood and nurture, and in education process (the influence of EQ on achievement, success and motivation in education, how schools work with EQ). The last part is about EQ in adulthood. Here I was thinking about the function and importance of emotional skills in the meaning of successful career, comfortable relationship and well-balanced attitude in postproductive period of life.
Computer at home and at school with regard to the risks to the childs personal development

This thesis on "Computer at home and at school, having regard to the risks to the child's personality development", discusses how to use computers in school, especially in the education, home and leisure of the child. Work emphasizes the risks resulting from improper use of information and communication technology (especially computers and the Internet) and offers solutions to minimize these risks. The aim is to acquaint the reader with the emerging phenomena due to using computers, such as the already extensive social networking, cyberbullying and "addiction" emerging on the Internet and computer games.
The Importance of Self-Assessment in the Pupil's Personality Development (With Consideration to Other Motivational Factors)

This bachelor thesis "The Importance of Self-Assessment in the Pupil's Personality Development (With Consideration to Other Motivational Factors)" is divided into three parts. First it deals with general questions of the pupil's personality development and aims at seven kinds of heed according to Helus (2009). These are vital for personality development of each child. The second chapter is focused on self-reflection as one of the chosen factors and summarizes the findings about this topic. It presents an extensive terminology which is associated with the concept of self-reflection and personality development. It reminds the idea of adequate self-reflection, development of self-concept and self-regulation. The third chapter aims at family and school as the two basic influences in the child's development of self- concept. It mentions parents' expectations and adequacy of requirements and their influence on the self-concept development and it also deals with possibilities of development at school. Intergenerational Transmission of Aggressive Behavior within Families as a Cause of Domestic Violence

Thesis Transgeneration transfer of aggressive behaviour in families as a cause of domestic violence has theoretically - empirical nature and is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is defined by the family, its functions, types, and family pathology is described in the context of domestic violence and CAN syndrome. The central chapters of this section also deal with educational styles, parental attitudes, characteristics of domestic violence and child development in families with the occurrence of domestic violence. The practical part includes a qualitative analysis of documents, families affected by domestic violence, held at the Municipal Office Prachatice, department of Social and legal protection of children. The analysis examined whether these families can be considered the transgeneration transfer patterns of behaviour and styles of upbringing family to multiply family. The analysis is complemented by interviewed case study. Learning competence development as a prerequisite for potencial further education

Framework educational programs have come into force within the Czech educational system. They stem from a new educational strategy that emphasizes key competences, their links to the educational content, and the application of acquired knowledge and skills in practice. In other words, they derive from the concept of lifelong learning. A question remains open whether a Czech teacher is able to cope with the new ways of teaching that should results in the development of individual competences? Do we have at our disposal any tools for teachers to help a child's personality as a whole to develop and then head towards lifelong learning?
