Unmasculine Boys in School Peer Groups

My Bachelor Thesis deals with the status in a student group of boys who possess unmasculine behaviours, apperace and characteristics. I studied how pupils, both girls and boys and teachers behave towards unmasculine boys, how these boys are accepted, or not, into groups, and how boys with unmasculine characteristics experience their status in a group of pupils. Outcomes of my research are (1) groups of pupils set aside unmasculine boys because male and female pupils judge boys with unmasculine chracteristics in accord with the gender order, and also with the pupil's group norms, and (2) unmasculine boys doesn't feel happy and aren't satisfied with their status in the group of pupils. My thesis consists of two parts: firstly a theoretical part and secondly, empirical. The theoretical part provides information concerning gender issues. In the first chapter I present fundamental terms such as gender order, masculinity and femininity, and the development of a gender's identity. In the second chapter I deal with gender role violation of boys, and with the possible reactions of society as a consequence of this violation. Czech Syntax in the First Third of the 20th Century in the View of the Magazine Naše řeč

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice syntaxe první třetiny 20. století, tak jak byla vnímána lingvistickým časopisem Naše řeč. Na základě obsahové analýzy primárních pramenů se ukazuje, jak byly lingvistickým časopisem Naše řeč zachyceny a interpretovány syntaktické jevy v první třetině 20. století a do jaké míry byla stanoviska redakce časopisu v souladu či v rozporu s tehdejšími kodifíkačními příručkami. Práce dále nabízí ukázky toho, jak jsou syntaktické jevy, kterým se věnuje Naše řeč, pojaty ve vybraných mluvnicích, což umožňuje zachytit některé vývojové tendence v české syntaxi té doby. Ichnology on crossroad: state of art of ichnofacies

This bachelor thesis analyses the state of the current ichnofacies paradigm in detail. The introduction deals briefly with the origin and development of the ichnofacies concept in order to understand principles on which current paradigm is based. The thesis deals with the definition, purpose and interpretation of generaly accepted ichnofacies, offers their overview and points to problematic ichnofacies that do not strictly obey established rules. The meaning of the ichnofacial paradigm has been tested based on observations of trace fossils in modern settings. At the end of the thesis, the importance and functioning of ichnofacies has been evaluated and at the same time, solutions to the introduction of new ichnofacies has been presented. Systém of Motivation in the Company ABC

The thesis deals with the issue of employee benefits, the reward system and evaluation of employees in the selected company. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part describes the theoretical background, concepts related to motivation and current surveys on employee benefits. In the second part, the thesis focuses on the selected company, the current state is analyzed by means of a questionnaire survey and interviews with company employees. In the last part, based on the results of the analysis, the optimal solution is proposed to improve the motivation of employees.
Inclusive education with a focus on pupils from socially and culturally different or disadvantaged backgrounds

The thesis deals with the topic of inclusive education in terms of inclusion of children from socio-culturally disadvantaged backgrounds into mainstream education. In the theoretical part there is description of the current situation in the Czech Republic based on the analysis of relevant sources of information regarding inclusive education. Inclusive education is viewed in the context of special education, multicultural education and social environment. As next there is outlined part of a legislative framework of this education and the possibility of support measures in the form of group tutoring. The practical part describes the group tutoring as one of the possible form of support measures. The group tutoring is analysed on the basis of the results of survey among children, who attended the group tutoring, and structured interviews with volunteers who helped to guide this tutoring.
The catalogue of the mammalian fauna of pleistocenne localities in Prague area

More than a hundred sites were in Prague in the past, where skeletal remains of Pleistocene mammals had been found. Most of these sites were brickyards or sand pits. These pits were in operation during the second half of the 19th century and first half of the 20th century. Many awards were found during construction works as well. Most of researchers attended only several most famous sites at the time of the findings. The catalog summarizes the basic known information about majority of Prague localities and includes a list of taxa wich were found there. Expected and real quality of offered services from the customer perspective in chosen fitness centre

Title: Expected and real quality of offered services from the customer perspective in chosen fitness centre. Objectives: This thesis is focused on selected fitness center, where the survey on the quality of the offered services was carried out by the SERVQUAL questionnaire method. Customers comment a center services in selected fitness centre and an expected services in their "perfect" centre. Conceiving of this questionnaire and processing data derived therefrom was also the main objective of this project. This helped to evaluate selected fitness center and to recommend possible changes that will improve quality and thus higher customer satisfaction. This thesis was also done to help create a standardized model of SERVQUAL questionnaire as part of the project called Measuring the quality of sports services in the fitness industry led by Master Jan Šíma (project number: 267811, which is funded by the Grant Agency of Charles University). Method: The survey of service quality was studied using a standardized SERVQUAL questionnaire, which was from December 2010 to July 2011 submitted to clients of Gladiator fitness center.
