Dentists literacy of non-medical staff
Havlíčková, Kateřina ; Kordulová, Pavla (advisor) ; Kulhavá, Miluše (referee)
(v AJ) Through the bachelor thesis I open the issue of dental literacy for non-medical health workers. The World Health Organization points out the importance of high health literacy and health education. Therefore, I decided to elaborate the final work on this topic and thus find out the level of dental literacy at various clinics. The theoretical part describes health literacy, anatomy and pathology of oral cavity and current knowledge of literacy in dentistry. The basis for the work I drew mainly on the basis of the research in the National Medical Library. From the catalog of the National Medical Library Medvik, the BMC database (Bibliographia medica čechoslovaca), the specialized databases CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) and MEDLINE (Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online), from a personal source of professional literature, expert consultation with dental doctors and dental hygienists, own experience and other bachelor theses. The aim of this work is to create an information leaflet to address health professionals in the field of care. Methods: The work was elaborated on the basis of quantitative research by means of anonymous non-standardized questionnaire in printed form. The target group was non-medical health professionals. Objective: The...
The integration of children from Orphanages to Elementary school
Havlíčková, Kristýna ; Koťa, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Sedláčková, Daniela (referee)
The topic of my Diploma thesis is the integration of children from Orphanages to Elementary school. The theoretical part of this work is focused on the description of the Orphanage as an institution and the life in this institution from many aspects. As I think the most important part of the theoretical work are information which refer to the integration of children from the Orphanages to the classes of primary school and work of these kids within a primary school. The practical part is taken in a qualitative way as an analysis of inteviews with individual pupils from the Orphanages who attend the first and the second grade of the primary school which are aimed to the integration of these people to the collective in the primary school and on their subjective opinions. The work is finished with the syntesis of theorecital and practical work and the interpretation of results which have been found in the research. In the end there is also presented an overlap of topics which related to the disscused problematic.

The consent to the processing of personal data in the light of the General data protection regulation
Havlíčková, Klára ; Scheu, Harald Christian (advisor) ; Svobodová, Magdaléna (referee)
The work presented considers the data protection law formerly degulated via Directive 95/46/EC and presently regulated by GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). GDPR was introduced as a response to the development of new technologies, such as growth of social networks and cloud storages, which did not exist when Directive 95/46/EC was enacted. Furthermore, GDPR is a reaction to the variery of data protection acts across the EU member states. Its aim is to consitently guarantee a high level of personal data protection across entire EU. The introductory part of the thesis is devoted to the terminology, history of personal data protection and shortcomings of the repealed directive. In particular, the territorial scope is identified as problematic. In adition, author i this part made an analyse of selected rulings of CJEU, which indicated the need for a new legal regulation, are discussed. The second part of the thesis considers the design of GDPR. Here, the question of necessity for such regulation is addressed. Furthermore, the author discusses the circumstances under which the IP address and cookies can be considered personal data which are protected by GDPR. The central theme of the thesis is the consent to the processing of personal data. GDPR does not modify the fundamental parameters of the consent...
Design of Microwave Diathermy Therapeutic Machine
Havlíčková, Klára ; Siebert, Petr (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
My thesis is focused on design of a microwave diathermy therapeutic machine. Its main goal is to improve a shape, technical solution, ergonomics and visual aspects of nowadays microwave diathermy machines and to innovate this part of technology, ergonomics, economics and the usage of this device on the field of physiotherapeutical care.
Synthesis of ceramides with deuterated sphingosine
Havlíčková, Kateřina ; Vávrová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Hrabálek, Alexandr (referee)
Ceramides are a complex group of lipids belonging to sphingolipids. They are the most important component of stratum corneum (SC) and thus participate in a barrier function of the skin. In spite of the ceramides are a subject of intensive research, the exact effect of their structure to the barrier function of the skin is poorly understood. For studying the structure, properties and dynamics of SC lipid membranes, analogues of lipids labelled by deuterium are often used. The methods using deuterated molecules include neutron scattering, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman spectroscopy, deuterium nuclear magnetic resonance (2 H-NMR) and time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS). This work describes the synthesis of the ceramide with a deuterated sphingosine chain. The acquired ceramides with a different acyl chain length (deuterated as well as non-deuterated) should be used for studying their properties in SC lipid membranes in the future. The synthesis was based on methods commonly used for preparation of non-deuterated analogues of ceramides. The most important step of the synthesis was the incorporation of the deuterated chain into the molecule of sphingosine. The deuterated terminal alkyne was prepared from the perdeuterated bromoalkane. Next the deuterated...
