Martina Dráždilová: Madonna and Pieta (Vesperbild). The modifications of its depictures in medieval art /Diploma thesis/ Prague 2011 − Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, Department of art education, 179 pages . Enclosures: 6 original paintings on canvas, combination technology. CD with inspiratory educational project. Diploma thesis is focused on thematic antithesis Madonna and Pieta and the modifications of its depictures in medieval art. The intention of work is to present theoretical knowledges of art history in kontext with art education and to describe the limits od educational work with religious topics. The first part presents the concept of cultural christianity and its position in czech curiculum. The second part presents historical study focused on iconografy of Madonna and Pieta, and the modifications of Madonna and Pieta in medieval ithalian painting in 13th and 14th century. On the knowledges of theoretical study is based educational project for grammar school students. Vizual problems of this the project are tested in specific artistic work. Enclosure presents quantitative research of positions of kultural christianity between grammar school students. Diploma Thesis Images of Bible (some New Testament's Gospels themes as a thematical resource to art education lessons) deals with possi- bility to didactic use of New Testament narratives and visual-signs system in art education. In larger extent it covers broad issue of interpretation and meaning in visual art in art theory contexts. It introduces function of ico- nography in that realm. From didactics branch side it dwells on empirical spectator and his new meanings generating in interaction with artwork. In research part it investigates New Testament's iconography knowledge of empirical spectator. Also it attends to his ability to read pictorial represen- tations. Practical part of diploma thesis designs and documents a few les- sons, that aspires to motley conception of biblical iconography themes in education. As a supplement of diploma thesis there is an interactive CD- ROM "New testament in visual culture" enclosed, which is a project of educational document introducing New Testament's iconography.

Teoretická práce se snaží přiblížit dobu 50. a 60. let let ve 20.st. a umění pop artu. Na příkladu hrdiny ukázat jak důležitý má význam nejen ve výtvarném umění a proč je Superman tak oblíbený. Didaktická část má za úkol pomocí hrdiny a příběhů přivést žáky zpět tradicím.

Bakalářská práce Témata křesťanského umění a jejich proměny: Křížová cesta je teoretickou studií, která se zabývá křížovou cestou jako plnohodnotnou součástí křesťanské liturgie a života věřících, historií křížových cest v rámci lidových tradic a církve. Dále se věnuje užití námětu v umění, historické i současné podobě, ikonografii jednotlivých zastavení a formám křížových cest. Představuje díla s pašijovými náměty jak nejvýznamnějších světových malířů v rámci gotiky až baroka, tak nejstarších českých mistrů gotické malby a současná moderní pojetí křížové cesty u nás. Úvahově se práce dotýká možnosti využití tématu křížové cesty ve výtvarné výchově. Součástí bakalářské práce je vlastní pokus o výtvarné zpracování zvoleného tématu a CD s doprovodným obrazovým materiálem.

This diploma work - Cats as an art topic offers an application of theoretical pieces of knowledge of zoology in an area of feline family in various children activities in art activities. Children can via art motives and solved art problems peep into an area where an animal - cat shows like feline with specific characters, a friend of man and also like an inspiration of artists for writing and illustration of literary works and art from antiquity to the present. There are concrete art lines with their ways out, art motives, problems, technologies and examples of children art works.
Expression and system in the art of 20th century

The thesis is engaged in questions of aesthetic interaction with work of art in art lessons on primary school. It's especially focused on the art of 20th century. The thesis's objective is to find and verify by applied research the ways how to perceive an expression and system in the art of 20th century like a resource for aesthetic interaction with work of art. The thesis id divided into two parts. The first part surveys psychologically - didactic resousces for the art education project focused on the interaction with work of art of 20th century during the art lessons on primary school. This thesis also includes the gallery animation definition. The second part is focused on the modern art history in relation to the following art project. The art project offers three tutorial blocks. One of them is verified by applied research. The conclusions head to the education practise like one of many ways how to provide interaction between pupils and work of art.
The Concept of Beautiful Style and its Use in Czech Literature of Art History

The work deals with the concept of beautiful style and its use in Czech literature of art history. Jaromír Pečírka introduced the term known from German professional literature to the Czech environment in the 1930s in relation to sculpture. It was applied to the history of Gothic painting by Antonín Matějček. After a short turnaround, associated with the name of Pavel Kropáček, the tradition of using the term was renewed by Jaroslav Pešina, who created a concept valid and recognized to this day. In relation to sculpture, Albert Kutal and his successor Jaromír Homolka had a similar role. The Czech specificity is the application of the term in relation to architecture, which was dealt with mainly by Dobroslav Líbal. Among the younger researchers, the work of Milena Bartlová, Jan Royt, Jan Klípa and Michaela Ottová is followed. The work follows individual concepts and their changes.
