Solar production of electricity

In this bachelor’s thesis are mentioned basic methods how to convert solar radiation into electric energy. Shortly introducing the origin of solar radiation and its subsequent lightening of the Earth surface. Then is here the history of photovoltaic and principle of function of photovoltaic cells. In next chapters are mentioned a variety of cells, construction of photovoltaic panels and methods, how to increase their productivity. In the following chapters are mentioned basic thermal cycles used for indirect conversion of solar radiation into electric energy, their usage in various applications. At last, here are mentioned ways of using the gained electric energy both from direct and indirect conversion.
Evolution of the BMW six-cylinder in-line engines

This work maps the development of six-cylinder in-line spark ignition BMW engines. Further work is about the parameters of design solutions and compares the contemporary competition engines.
Different use of the wind energy.

This thesis describe main kinds of wind turbines, principle of their functions and their usage to electricity generation. The second part deals with ways to storing wind energy. There is description of compressed air energy storage technology and their combination with combustion of biomass. Second mentioned energy storage technology is electrolysis of water and possibility of usage hydrogen.
Travelling Crab

Bachelor thesis deals with a project of the travelling mechanism of the travelling crab (electric motor and gear-box) and check calculation for starting. The aim of this work is to design a travelling wheel with save, therefore it is necessary to design the suitable normalized components. The solidity calculations of the travelling wheel, the bearing and shaft ( static and dynamin straining).
WRC Specification Cars

In this bachelor’s thesis are introduced and briefly described the most important functional parts of WRC specification sport car in light of constructional solutions, specialities and differences from stock produced car. The car is primary designed for racing in World Rally Championship under the auspices of International Automobile Federation FIA. Finally is shortly outlined possible future evolution of this motorsport category.
Effect of lubricant rheology on lubrication film thickness.

Lubrication is a very important part of mechanical engineering, which ensures high lifetime of machine parts, reduction of friction and wear and also it leads to decreasing of power consumption. In this bachelor`s thesis there is described rheology of newtonian and non-newtonian lubricants and its effect on lubrication film thickness. Measured central film thickness values are compared with theoretical prediction.
CAD systems for MEMS design

This thesis deals with CAD design tools for MEMS. First part describes and defines MEMS and its basic components. This is followed by a description of methods used to manufacture MEMS. The last part deals with particular CAD design tools, their modules and functions. Mentioned systems are then compared, reviewed and appropriate usage for each of them is suggested. Then the importance and advantages of MEMS are disccussed.

Travelling Crab

This thesis deals with proposal hoisting mechanism of travelling crab with lifting capacity of 50 000 kg. The calculations and proposal of bearing elements of cable system such as steel rope, pulley and cable drum are included in the thesis. Strenght and dimensional calculation and drawing documentation are made for each imporatnt part of sheave block. The integral part of the thesis constitutes the driving mechanism as motor, gearbox and brake.
Rings of endomorphisms of elliptic curves and Mestre's theorem

Eliptické křivky jsou mocným nástrojem dnešní doby. Jednak přispěly k vyřešení mnoha matematických problémů, ale také nalezly četná uplatnění v aplikacích, jako je například kryptografie založená na eliptických křivkách (ECC). Tato metoda veřejného klíče má velkou budoucnost, neboť v mnohém doplňuje nedostatky známé RSA metody. Jedním z hlavních problémů kryptografie založené na eliptických křivkách je určení řádu eliptické křivky, tedy výpočet počtu bodů eliptické křivky nad prvočíselným polem. Tomuto zásadnímu problému je věnována tato práce. Na určení řádu eliptické křivky existuje řada algoritmů. Pro menší prvočísla (čili pro charakteristiku prvočíselného pole) se užívá metoda založená na přímém výpočtu, tzv. naivní algoritmus. Velkou pomocí v této problematice je Hasseho teorém, který omezuje řád eliptické křivky intervalem. Pro větší prvočísla se s úspěchem používají Shanksův algoritmus a jeho vylepšení Mestreho algoritmus. Oba algoritmy mají dvě části - Baby Step a Giant Step. Shanksův algoritmus je však v určitých případech nepoužitelný a tento problém řeší Mestreho algoritmus, který používá pojem twist eliptické křivky. Díky Mestreho teorému bylo dokázáno, že řád eliptické křivky nad prvočíselným polem muže být spočten pro každé prvočíslo vetší než 457. Důkaz, který spočívá především v isomorfismu okruhu endomorfismů nad eliptickými křivkami a imaginárního kvadratického řádu, je uveden na závěr této práce.
