Reality as Self, Thing and Their Relation
Jahoda, Lukáš ; Hill, James (advisor) ; Karásek, Jindřich (referee)
The meaning of this work is to grasp the development of early-modern philosophy into "modern" philosophy on the basis of the subject-object issue, which is considered and demonstrated as ontologically entirely fundamental. The expression of this development is illustrated for reason of deeper clarification of the sense and meaning of modern philosophy. The ontology of early-modern philosophy is essentially determined through the categories of subject and object, self and thing. The most universal nature of this ontology is based on object of reality fixation which is self, thing, or both. The notions of self and thing are in this work introduced in their totality through the extreme positions of two early-modern philosophers. The demonstration of the extreme philosophy of the subject is Berkeley. The demonstration of the extreme philosophy of the object is Spinoza. On the basis of explication of their ontology is explicated the universal nature of early-modern ontology. The end of early-modern ontology and its transition into "modern" ontology happens through the reconstruction of the subject-object figure. The author of this reconstruction is Hegel. Reality is now placed neither into the subject neither into the object, but into their mutual relation.

Czech Republic society still isn't a kind of society with many of the characters as mature and democratic society which undoubtedly follows the awareness of children abou these isues. The influence of Christianity, traditional values and behaviors, and certain puritanism stillpersists in our society. Eligibility of family model claiming the exclusive right to raise their children with regards to the parents posibilities in today's hectic modern society has complicated application. Children are mainly imposed on the media in various forms of sexuality which causes confusion of children and a sense of moral release. The emphasis is on enjoyment, fun and easy and carefree life which is not a mirror of reality. Educate children on sexual issues, although it should be primarily a family affair, but as already mentioned, due to social changes and transformation of structures of society and family. Skalická, Kateřina ; Mocná, Dagmar (advisor) ; Hrabáková, Jaroslava (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the critical reception of Neruda's and Hálek's poetry. The first chapter summarizes the existing knowledge of these authors's creations. At first we focused on the typical traits of their generation, and then on the genesis of their writing. Then using specialized literature, we briefly try to interpret their poetry. At the end of this chapter we show how the critical attitudes towards both poets changed over time. The next part of the thesis analyzes period reviews of Hálek's poetry in detail. Firstly we briefly describe the main features of Hálek's poetry in general, then we expound on the characteristics of his collections of poems. Subsequently for each collection of poems, we provide a description of the critiques published. We further analyze these descriptions to obtain a more complete picture of the reception of Halek's poetry. This method was used for Neruda as well. The last chapter provides a comparison of the critical reception of Hálek's and Neruda's poetry from their time period. Afterwards these findings were compared with knowledge from specialized literature from later time periods.
