Support of the language development through the stimulation of auditory perception at early childhood

The main topic of the bachelor thesis supports the development through the stimulation of auditory perception in early childhood. The thesis consists of three chapters, two of them are theoretical and the last one is practical. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis defines basic terms such as speech, language, and communication. Further, it describes the ontogenesis of speech, language and communication in early childhood. The ontogenesis of speech, language and communication is described by two different authors. The next chapter of the theoretical part introduces auditory perception. This chapter also includes a description of the anatomy and physiology of the ear, auditory perception development, and areas of auditory perception. The research part of the bachelor thesis is research based on qualitative methods. The research method used in the bachelor thesis is case studies. Case studies were processed with the help of other research techniques. The main aim of the research is analyzation of the development of auditory perception in early childhood in one private kindergarten in Prague. Developing communication skills for children preschool age

He is interested in aspects of communication skills, and characterizes the speech ontogenesis stages of language development. It looks disordered, the possibility of development and factors that may affect it. It builds on language education in pre- school education from historical and contemporary perspective. Practical use of monitors of speech to describe situational picture among children aged 3-6 (7) years. The stimulus program to help identify the state of the continuous expression of children aged 5-6 (7) years, and considering the possibility of his influence. Finally, we discussed proposals for changes that could help develop communication skills in preschool children.
Development of communication for pupils at special primary school

The thesis is aimed to development of communication of students at special primary school. Special primary school is creating unique conditions for education of students with lower intellectual competences. The aim of education is equip students by knowledges and skills for integration into the society. The theoretical part of thesis consists of four chapters. The first of them specifies the term mental disability, classifies type of mental retardation, characterizes specific characteristics of person with mental disability and presents possibilities primary education mental disabilited students. The second and the third chapter compare psycho-motion development and ontogenezis of speech to mental handicapped children with children without disability. Lexicon evaluation of school-age children with hearing impairment

This thesis deals with observing differences in vocabulary in sign language with hearing impaired kids at school age who visit elementary school for hearing impaired. This work is divided between two parts, theoretical and practical. This part is divided into three chapters. First chapter deals with the importance of hearing and classification of the hearing impairment and diagnostics. In this thesis is also included speech development of hearing impaired children and hearing children. Next part also contains of specific features occurring in speech of the hearing impaired people. It includes a list of tests which can be used to evaluate vocabulary with children. The last chapter of the theoretical part describes the development of the child during school age. The theoretical part deals with vocabulary in sign language of children with hearing impairment at primary school for the hearing impaired. Diagnostics of Lexical-semantic Level of Language for Pre-school Age Children and for Children with Specific Language Impairment

This thesis examines the diagnostics of the speech development of pre-school children with the main focus on the lexical- semantic language plan and moreover, it compares the intact speech development to the impaired speech development among children who suffer from specific language impairment (SLI). The work conducts a survey of the diagnostic possibilities regarding the field of lexis and semantics among pre-school children, introduces the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test method and evaluates its possible adaptation into the Czech language environment. There are two main parts of the thesis: the theoretical and the empirical one. The first mentioned presents the most important theories and personalities in the field of speech development and acquisition, the ways of lexicon, vocabulary and semantics assessment methods both in the Czech Republic and abroad and specific language impairment as such. The second, empirical, part verifies the possibility of using the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test method in the Czech language environment. The quantitative research was applied and in each of its stages the data from 411 tested people were obtained.
