Analysis of Conditions for the Implementation of Dynamic Points in the Chemistry Curriculum as a General Education Subject - Microplastics
Marešová, Eva ; Bílek, Martin (advisor) ; Janoušková, Svatava (referee)
The diploma thesis focuses on the phenomenon of so-called dynamic points of curriculum, which represent the implementation of new non-traditional topics into the content of teaching reflecting the current results of technology development including their environmental context. In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis the concept of dynamic curriculum places is elaborated with a focus on the topic "Microplastics" in the teaching of chemistry as a general teaching subject as their current example. The practical part is firstly aimed to the design of teaching activities on the topic "Microplastics", supporting the implementation of this topic in the teaching of chemistry at lower secondary schools and in the corresponding grades of multi-year grammar schools. Subsequently, in the practical part, the specific conditions for the implementation of the topic "Microplastics" in the teaching of chemistry as a general teaching subject are analysed through two case studies, focusing on the information and material-technical conditions of lower secondary schools and multi-year grammar schools, including examination of the effectiveness and functionality of the proposed teaching activities supporting this implementation in schools through practice. The results of the analysis illustrate that the case of a...
Microplastics in General Secondary Chemistry Education
Marešová, Eva ; Bílek, Martin (advisor) ; Janoušková, Svatava (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on microplastics as a frequently discussed topic in the context of environmental hazards, which despite its topicality and popularity is not included in the teaching of Chemistry as a general educational subject. The theoretical part focuses on the size classification, origin, composition, appearance, sources, and the occurrence of microplastics, including their impact on the environment. The first practical part consists of an analysis of the Framework Educational Programme for Elementary education, the Framework Education Programme for Grammar Schools, and selected Schools Educational Programmes with a main focus on microplastics. The second practical part is devoted to the design of learning activities through which pupils are able to actively learn about the topic of microplastics in the context of teaching Chemistry as a general education subject. This active form of familiarisation with the topic should aim at increasing the pupils' interest in learning about this topic and contribute to the awareness of the possible risks involved at the same time. Timber species education of the elementary School
Hladíková, Hana ; Skýbová, Jana (advisor) ; Pavlasová, Lenka (referee)
The main objective of this thesis is the preparation and realization of project about timber species for pupils attending fourth grade of elementary school. Introductory chapters present basic curricular documents about environmental education. The author analyses elementary school textbooks focusing on naturalistic topics and finds out the ways in which the subject matter of timber species is covered in textbooks of fourth and fifth grade of elementary school. In the chapter Characteristics of Rieger's Park, the author examines the history of the park and mentions woody species to be found on the park's territory. One part of the thesis deals with results arising from questionnaire survey carried out at schools in the adjacent park surroundings. The main purpose of the questionnaire survey was to find out how much interest there is in the project dealing with issues of timber species in Rieger's Park. The author set the objective at the same time of finding out what form of the project would be the most convenient for teachers of the selected schools. Practice-oriented part contains the project "Timber Species in the Rieger's Park". Four walks to the Rieger's Park in different seasons of the year with accompanying working sheets made stand for the basis of the project. In the final part of the...
Didactic methods in Health education
Procházková, Jitka ; Kovaříková, Miroslava (advisor) ; Syřiště, Ivo (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the didactic means of teaching health education and research of selected online resources usable for teaching health education at the second stage of primary and secondary schools. The aim of the work is to verify the quality of materials available online suitable for use in teaching health education and to show their practical use. The materials are verified in terms of the quality of materials, their practical use in teaching and focus in terms of the level of education. The available materials are verified by an analysis, which is focused on the examination of materials in terms of science, adequacy, practicality and suitability for use in a particular level of education. The practical use of materials is verified by practical use in teaching and the method of structured interviews with colleagues. The theoretical part of the work is focused on the types of teaching aids and the research part on the analysis of specific teaching aids. The practical part deals with the use of available teaching aids in teaching. The thesis contains an overview of selected, available didactic tools usable in the teaching of health education with regard to their content, quality and adequacy. The work also offers a demonstration of the use of available teaching aids in the teaching of...
Natural-scientific Excursions for Elementary School Pupils in the Region of Blanik
Dymák, Petr ; Andreska, Jan (advisor) ; Hanel, Lubomír (referee)
The work dedicates the region of Podblanicko as an outdoor acivity of didactic territory. The description of five concrete excursions follows with a universal characterization of the region. The didactic part is worked by the author theoreticaly of the view of the General Educational Programme and extra concrete School Educational Programme. In the work, there is dedicated a special consideration to the concrete special didactics of individual excursions including author's writing of the working folio for the geological excursion. Charles University in Prague - Faculty of Science Department of Teaching and Didactics of Chemistry Albertov 3, 128 40 Praha 2, Czech Republic Chemical experiments for ecoschools Bc. Zuzana Hegrová zuzana.hegrova@seznam.cz This thesis deals with environmental education in chemistry at both of the primary schools and the lower level of grammar schools. It is primarily focused on environmental chemical experiments at ecoschools. Since this topic is highly interdisciplinary, thesis interferes with other educational areas and disciplines than in chemistry. The theoretical part deals with the current situation in the field of environmental education. There is a tentative analysis of several contemporary Czech textbooks for primary schools and lower level of grammar schools. The analysis compares the representation of selected environmental topics and the number of experiments that appear in textbooks. In the practical part there are prepared teaching materials to support the experimental teaching chemistry with author solution for teachers. My intention was to create a stack of environmental experiments that should serve to facilitate the preparation of teachers in chemistry class, mostly in the experimental plane. Experiments demonstrate or explain principle, origin, prevention, solutions of various...

To deal with the environmentally orientated educational programme for nursery schools with the use of an outdoor classroom is the aim of my bachelor Thesis.
The use of the freshwater ecosystem in the preschool science education.
BROŽOVÁ, Anežka
Environmental and natural science education is important part of education of every individual. This issue takes part in education and upbringing in kindergarten. Children are getting to know to different water ecosystems, water states, circulation of water in nature, importance of water for life; they observe animals in water and around. Different activities are based on experience learning, observing; bring understanding to effects and relation to nature and its protection. The aim of the thesis is to find and to prove suitable methods and forms of work in natural science and environmental education realized in kindergarten.
