Race Cars Electric Drive
Nosek, Václav ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the categories of motorsport vehicles powered by electric drive. In the theoretical part, a brief history of electric drive and the classification of the different types of electric vehicles are first mentioned. The main part then discusses the main categories of electric motorsport and several models, focusing on their technical specifications. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the comparison of concepts in the T1 racing category. The main emphasis here is on verifying the currently achievable capabilities of electric drive compared to other methods used in the racing environment of the category.
Planetary Gearboxes in Passenger Cars Construction
Timko, Richard ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the research collection of planetary transmissions used in passenger cars, based on their conceptual arrangement and drive type. A simple planetary gear set and the Ravigneaux with the Simpson compound planetary gear trains are kinematically described, aiming to establish their basic kinematic equations. Subsequently, specific examples of planetary gearboxes are selected and described for internal combustion engine, electric, and hybrid drives. Additionally, a complete kinematic and force analysis of the ZF 8HP automatic transmission is conducted.
Evaluation of alternative propulsion types for aviation applications
Franz, Jan ; Horpatzká, Michaela (referee) ; Koštial, Rostislav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis attempts to summarize different types of aircraft propulsion with special regard to alternative types of propulsion and their comparison to conventional types. The text is consists of an overview of conventional propulsion and fuels used with extension to sustainable aviation fuels. Electric propulsion including motors, batteries and fuel cells. Examples of aircraft that use alternative propulsion. Hybrid propulsion and hydrogen storage and a calculation for a reference aircraft.
Electric drives in engineering
Štos, Vojtěch ; Hájková, Alena (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the basics of electric drives in mechanical engineering. The initial chapter includes their definition and classification. The following chapter deals with the general mechanical and electrical properties of electric actuators. The remaining part of the thesis is devoted to a detailed description of the different types of motors. A special chapter is devoted to motors that find their application mainly in automation technology. The last chapter focuses on the control and regulation with regard to the control and regulation of electrical drives.
Design of Electric Hoist, Capacity 250 kg
Soška, Michal ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with design of overhead electric driven hoist with hand-driven trolley. The objective was to design original and effective solution. Lifting mechanism is implemented as a chain drive, with own designed chain guide. Work contains a description of the individual components, corresponding calculations and drawings.
Mechanical design of mobile camera system via electric drive
Bosák, Dalibor ; Brandejs, Jan (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with an overview of accessories for a camera movement and mechanical design of a mobile camera crane via electric drive. In the construction part of the thesis are primarily brought conception designs of a camera crane including stress analysis in each places of the crane and then the proposal itself according to the chosen concept. There are shown solutions of individual parts of the camera crane with their description and views. In the end of the thesis are resumed the advantages of the design and economical analysis including the prices of each components and the whole crane.
Urban three-wheeled vehicle with electric drive
Černík, Adam ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Tobiáš, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the conceptual design of the chassis of a three-wheeled. The total payload od the vehicle is 160 kg. At the beginning, the work deals with the search for different types of chassis in used three-wheeled vehicles. The advantages and disadvantages of various chassis concepts and the subsequent choice of one them are also summarized. Then the conceptual parameters of the vehicle are selected. At the end a 3D model is modelled in program Inventor, which corresponds to the selected conceptual parameters. This model is used to visualize the designed chassis of three-wheeled vehicle.
Conceptual design of high performance glider with electric propulsion (in complience with EASA CS-22)
Hlůšek, Josef ; Sklenář, Filip (referee) ; Hlinka, Jiří (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on conceptual design of glider with electric propulsion system following the CS-22 regulation. Statistical analysis of the glider with an auxiliary electric engine has been carried out in order to determine basic design parameters for conceptual design. Based on analytical drag polar, the flight performance parameters are calculated, in particular flight range and influence of the solar panels on the flight range. This thesis also includes preliminary design solution of accumulator placement within the wing.
Design of all-terrain vehicle
Brostíková, Amálie ; Karásek, David (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design Quads. Specifically, a type of terrain utility quad, often referred to as the ATV. To drive the machine uses two electric motors. The ultimate designer's proposal responds to the significant social trends that support the economy and ecological design. These parameters together with the yield of the machines are non-traditional solutions to this type of field machinery.
Concept design of a Long-Range Car
Baka, Michal ; Siebert, Petr (referee) ; Křenek, Ladislav (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is concept design long-range car of future, using electric drive. The main goal is to solve analyzed problems, which are reflected in the conceptual design of the vehicle that meets the ergonomic, technical and visual aspects, all focused in car interior.
