Prchlíková, Alena ; Kříž, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Vronský, Jiří (referee)
The aim of the research is to identify and analyze the needs in the field of human resource management within a small company, referred to as "Company XY". Another goal is the creation and definition of specific requirements for the HR position, which would be newly introduced within this company. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis defines the basic concepts related to HR and human resources management. It monitors the development of personnel work over time and changes in the approach and management of human resources. It relates the influence of a healthy organizational culture to the loyalty and commitment of employees and ultimately to the achievement of the organization's strategic goals. It summarizes individual personnel activities and the desired professional, general, digital and soft competencies of a personnel officer, as well as the specifics of personnel work in a small company. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on the research methods and tools used. It analyzes relevant documents and, with the help of conducted semi-structured case study interviews, ascertains the HR needs of the small "Company XY". It identifies the specifics of a small firm in general and the specifics of individual related firms related to their activities. It reveals the influence of the owner on...
A feedback profiling model for cybersecurity education and training
Lazarov, Willi ; Kuchař, Karel (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
The need to educate users to some extent in cybersecurity is undeniable given the ever-increasing cyber threats. However, the approach to education and training cannot be simply generalized due to the different environments, technical backgrounds, and age groups of users. In addition, it is also important to proactively monitor, evaluate, and provide feedback to the individuals being taught or trained. The master's thesis addresses these challenges through the research and development of a feedback profiling model for effective cybersecurity education and training. The thesis first begins with a discussion of methods and techniques for cybersecurity education. Subsequently, the problem addressed is described in more detail, followed by the design of the proposed solution in the form of the profiling model with automatic feedback. The model, which consists of a profiling matrix, a profiling algorithm, and a learning curve, was first created and expressed mathematically without considering the properties of a particular cyber range platform and programming language, especially for easy replication, modification, and extension. Independently, the profiling model was implemented and subsequently integrated into the Brno University of Technology Cyber Arena (BUTCA) platform to validate the model on learning data from students of grammar schools, technical high schools, and universities. The resulting solution of this thesis brings to the cybersecurity field a new innovative approach to the evaluation of learned and trained users with an emphasis on individual feedback and continuous learning.
Psychogalvanometric measurement and biofeedback
Paulasová, Lenka ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Hrozek, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with bio-feedback and the possibility of measuring changes in skin resistance for biofeedback. The Theoretic part is focused on the principle of biofeedback and its use. Next deals with the resistance of the skin, the changes depending on the emotions and the measurement this change . The practical part is devoted to the creation program for the use of skin resistance to change biofeedback in LabVIEW.
Leadership and management of personnel in construction company
Hegerová, Anežka ; Sláma, Lukáš (referee) ; Linkeschová, Dana (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with topics of leadership and staff management in the construction business. The purpose of the thesis is to analyze situation in the fields associated with problematics of Czech construction business. The theoretical part introduces concepts and theories related to said problematic. There are four hypotheses proposed in the practical part. The situation considering diversity, motivation, comunication and education is evaluated through survey. The outcome of this thesis are partial conclusions and suggestions derived from trends and experiences found through research. These conclusions and suggestions may be helpful for those holding leadership and employee management work positions in construction companies.
Proposal for an Employee Assessment System
Němec, Jiří ; Jelínková, Martina (referee) ; Pokorný, Jiří (advisor)
Master´s thesis analyzes problems associated with the employee classification of a business company. It suggests the evulating system strategy which, if respectfully followed, would lead to better execution of employee, teams and whole company and at the same time to a stronger market position and to a riddance of the weaker competition.
Design of audio power amplifier with Bluetooth connectivity
Bartoň, Jan ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the task of designing an audio amplifier, operating in class D, with a nominal output power of 2 x 80 W with Bluetooth connectivity, supplemented by an equalizer and a state display. A power supply and a user interface are designed as well. At first, research regarding audio amplifiers is made, followed by a more thorough description of class D operating principles. Afterwards the actual synthesis of the desired amplifier is presented, followed by the power supply design procedure. The correctness of the synthesis is later verified by simulations in PSpice and LTSpice. Theoretical design is then practically built, and its parameters are confronted with expected values by measurements.
TTP protocol for managing hierarchy trees of RTCP feedback channel
Müller, Jakub ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
TTP protocol for managing hierarchy trees of the RTCP feedback channel represents the mechanism for transferring the big amount of data from end users via the “narrow” feedback channel. We are not speaking about thousands of users but about millions of users, which are using services like IPTV. The method of a data summarization is used for this purpose in selected network nodes. The summarized message is transferred and summarized again in higher levels of the hierarchical tree. Both methods allow reducing the amount of data and help to increase information content transferred via the feedback channel. Finding of the correct end user position in a network is also very important aspect. The user must be able to find the closest summarization node with this information and starts sending out the messages to this node for processing. There are several methods for constructing and managing the asynchronous feedback channel that are introduced in this work.
Strategy for Improvement of Training System of Company
Gazurová, Anna ; Kufa, Jan (referee) ; Mallya, Thaddeus (advisor)
This thesis focuses on problems related with new graduates at the „Department of New Employees Training“ of TŘINECKÉ ŽELEZÁRNY joint stock Company. The work evaluates to what extent the participants are satisfied with the training period, work of each mentor assigned to them and how they are involved in solving concreate tasks. Later suggestions are made on what measures should be taken to improve the program, for future participants to be satisfied.
Precise Audio Amplifier for Quality Listening
Janošík, Lukáš ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a design of quality audio preamplifier designed for high quality production. The typology of whole design emphasizes very important transmission properties, i.e. high signal-to-noise ratio, high separation of channel, low distortion, The content of the semestral thesis is an symetrical input, relay input switch, 5 band equalizer with bypass and symetrical output with active line driver.
