SWOT analysis as a tool for personnel planning at school

This thesis deals with the possibilities of using SWOT analysis in human resources planning at school. In the theoretical part the approaches to the management of human resources are stated and it also includes the development of concepts from this area. Subsequently the issue of human resource management in education is discussed. Attention is also paid to personnel planning in again as the market sphere and in the field of education. Another topic that is elaborated in this work is the SWOT analysis. It outlines the development of this method and its applications in several areas, including education. In the practical part there is a quantitative questionnaire survey method, under which the objective of the research is approached. It presents the results and their evaluation. Finally, there are the recommendations for further study of this method in a school environment which this technique can greatly enrich in the future. SWOT analysis in the field of personnel planning in Children and Youth Centre and Leisure Centre in Pardubice region

The main task of the master thesis is the applicaton of the SWOT analysis in personnel planning for Children and Youth Centre and Leisure Centre in Pardubice region. Theoretical part is focused on definiton of HR planning notion including development phases. In the work, more details of HR planning in the market environment and in schools and educational organizations are discussed. Thoretical part of the work is also focused on SWOT analysis, development of the method, realization, utilization of the method, advantages and disadvantages of the method and the use of the method in the school environment. In the practical part of the thesis quantitative and qualitative research method is applied to achieve the goals of the research. Results of both methods are presented including their evaluation. Planning of teaching staff in preschool

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to ascertain how kindergartens approach the planning of teaching staff. The theoretical part deals with basic principles of staff planning and methods and resources used in recruitment of employees and defines the notions of "teaching staff" and "kindergarten". The empirical part relies on survey data and its analysis. We research the problem of teaching staff planning in kindergartens. The exact methods are ascertained by analysing the following three topics: the current state of affairs in staffing sufficiency, the forms of teaching staff planning in use, and the sources of teaching staff used by kindergartens. We have ascertained that kindergartens are insufficiently staffed and, not infrequently, kindergartens are staffed with teaching staff who do not possess the legally required qualifications. Two fifths of kindergartens have a medium-term plan covering the needs for teaching staff, and the same number of kindergartens have a medium-term staffing plan for teaching assistants. This thesis explores the most common reasons for planned staffing requirements and ascertains how kindergartens deal with these situations and also how they approach overstaffing. Strategy of headmaster in selection and recruitment of pedagogical staff in kindergarten

This diploma thesis deals with recruitment and selection of the teaching staff in alternative nursery schools. The theoretical part defines personnel management and characterizes its main tasks. Furthermore, it focuses on recruitment and selection of staff. It describes ways of implementations, methods and sources, which are frequently used for recruitment and selection of the teaching staff. It defines selected types of alternative nursery schools, the role of the headmaster and the teacher. The practical part is based on quantitative survey. The results of the survey describe methods and ways of implementations, which are most frequently used by headmasters or human resources officers when recruiting the teaching staff. Furthermore, the results are used for creating a general comprehensive personnel plan for recruitment and selection the teaching staff in alternative nursery schools, which can be used by headmasters of nursery schools (especially the alternative ones) or as a study material in the area of human resources.
Human resource marketing in social enterprises

This thesis deals with the application of human resource marketing methods in social enterprises. Its aim is to find out how human resource marketing is implemented in social enterprises and what methods of internal and external human resource marketing are used by the social enterprises under study. The thesis describes the specifics of social entrepreneurship and social enterprises, individual methods of human resource marketing, phases of staff planning and distinguishes between the concepts of human resource marketing and employer branding. The empirical part uses a semi-structured interview and a questionnaire for research and is based on the experience of human resource managers with the application of human resource marketing and on the perception of its application by the employees of the enterprise. It describes the weaknesses and strengths of the methods and differences between the enterprises under study. The output is also a recommendation for human resource managers and a comparison of human resource marketing methods used in the enterprises under study with those described in professional publications.
