Optoelectronic application of perovskite nanoparticles
Ambro, Filip ; Zdražil,, Lukáš (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the utilization of perovskite nanoparticles in optoelectronics. The thesis is composed of three main parts. The first part focuses on the theoretical properties of perovskite materials, with an emphasis on their structure and properties influencing their electrical and optical behavior. The second part describes the procedure for preparing solutions of these nanoparticles, their subsequent characterization, the preparation of thin layers, and the subsequent characterization of the optical, electrical, and dielectric properties of these layers. The final part is dedicated to presenting the results of the work and discussion.
Using of Perovskite Nanoparticles in Biochemistry
Srncová, Melanie ; Tumová, Šárka (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis examines study of the properties of lead halide perovskite nanoparticles and their use in biochemistry. The synthesis of two types of perovskite nanoparticles MAPbBr3 and MAPbCl3 was performed using the LARP method. During the synthesis was observed the influence of the mixing length of the precursors on the properties of these solutions, which were characterized using UV-VIS spectrophotometry, fluorescence spectrometry and dynamic light scattering. A discussion of the obtained results was carried out along with a discussion of the suitability of using these perovskite nanoparticles in biochemistry due to the toxicity of the lead that these nanoparticles contain.
New urban games and their players
Johanovský, Tomáš ; Duffková, Jana (advisor) ; Vinopal, Jiří (referee)
This diploma thesis "New urban games and their players" treats the new phenomenon of urban games. The text is based on the classical games theory joined with the latest developments in the area and some relevant concepts of urban sociology. From a sociological point of view this thesis explores urban games as a new leisure time phenomenon and clearly states its characteristics as well as its definition. The main focus lies in examining the recent developments in Czech urban games and describing the variety present in urban games today. Other related topics of urban activities are also explained. The mechanics of urban games is explored in the case study of Compagnie, an urban game that took place in Prague in 2010. In the case study, the urban game basics are shown in order to help the general public to understand it. This work is concluded with a socio-demographic analysis of urban game players based on an enquiry done with the participants of the game. The whole text mixes theoretic approach with practical study of urban games, sociological analysis and participatory observation.
Players of Live Action Role-Playing Games in Czech Republic in reflection of active audience theories
Heller, Jakub ; Švelch, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Reifová, Irena (referee)
This text is presenting the new phenomenon called larp and it is trying to describe its fundamental characteristic attributes and acquaint reader with its structure. The goal of this text is to define larp in the company of other types of media, describe the unique relationship between larp and its audience and in the same time bring larp community to kontext of active audience theories. For better understanding of this medium this text is also trying to clarify terms like role-playing, immersion or diegesis and their role in the enviroment of this phenomenon.
Larp and it's potential in educational science
Hauser, Jiří ; Hanková, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Pávková, Jiřina (referee)
v anglickém jazyce Bachelor thesis studies use of LARP in education theory and it's similar atributes with some other domains of education theory. It tries to answer the question of social benefits for participants. The thesis also contains realisation of a model game and analysis of participant's view at benefits from LARP.
Fenomenom of the Living History in Bohemia
Hartvich, Ondřej ; Štěpánová, Irena (advisor) ; Krupková, Jaroslava (referee)
This thesis explores in the Czech Republic little explored phenomenon of living history. The motivation for this topic is the author's long-standing interest in this issue and his active participation in similar activities. The thesis aims to characterize the concept of living history and specify this kind of leisure time activity participated by a part of the population in the Czech Republic. It also examines the question of whether living history is a subculture. Therefore, it also describes the concept of subculture through according literature. It also seeks to map or outline and present some living history associations as a sample of the phenomenon based on research. Field research, participant observation, conducted interviews among the members, spectator and active participation in the events and presentations organized by them, and web analytics are used for this. The first chapter deals with the clarification of the concept of experimental archaeology and living history, since the difference between them is essential. Therefore, it describes the contents of experimental archaeology as one of the methods of archaeology and living history as a central theme of the research and the thesis. In the next part, LARP and historical fencing are introduced to illustrate the genesis of the...
Religious Experiences Induced by LARPing
Martinek, Adam ; Beláňová, Andrea (advisor) ; Hrabec, Ondřej (referee)
This bachelor's thesis is concerned mainly with experiences of live action role-playing games players, who have, during the course of such games, played characters related to religion. The aim of this qualitative study was to first and foremost discover and describe if and when do play induced religious experiences arise. The thesis is theoretically based on those currents of psychology of religion which hold religion to be a socially constructed phenomenon, that can be, albeit possessing certain cognitive specificities, studied through standard methods, mainly those which are inductive in their reasoning. This view is held chiefly because of the socially constructed nature of religion and the absence of a definitive explanatory theory of religion. To answer my research questions, ten semi-structured interviews were conducted with different participants, during which I respected the participant's own perception of the religiosity of their play experience. These interviews were analysed through the lens of grounded theory, the aim of the analysis was to describe circumstances of the emergence of game-specific experiences, their contents with regard to the religious theme of the game(s) and their possible effects on players' lives outside the game(s). The results of the study are discussed in light...
Photography of Modern Performing Arts: LARP
Šolcová, Tereza ; Géla, František (advisor) ; Silverio, Robert (referee)
The objective of this bachelor thesis is to create a photo essay on the subject of modern performative art called larp. The word larp itself was formed by combining words live, action, role and playing and it is an alternative to theater and film where the actors play roles only for themselves, not for the audience. The practical part of this thesis documents the preparation, organization and the course of larp events. The theoretical part of the work briefly introduces the genre of photography of performative art, especially theater and film photography. Furthermore, this work compares these genres with the photographed theme and describes their common and different elements. This thesis also briefly deals with the history of larp as a socio-artistic phenomenon of the 21st century.
