v anglickém jazyce This bachelor's thesis deals with ways of conception of the role of evil and kind sister in the fairy tales written by well-known French author Charles Perrault. These ways are compared with methods of current writer Patrick Chamoiseau. The goal of this thesis is to show the identical traits by using analytical and subsequent comparative method. These identical features were revealed on the basis of work with fairytale texts Cendrillon ou La petite pantoufle en verre, Les fées and La Barbe Bleue in Czech translation Popelka aneb Skleněný střevíček, Víly and Modrovous. These attributes become the main criterions of comparison of achieved results with elements which can be found in a fairy tale called La plus belle est à l'en-bas de la baille in Czech translation Nejhezčí je pod žlabem. This study aspires to answer the question if it is possible to declare these three mentioned fairy tales written by Charles Perrault as a possible source of inspiration how to understand characters of kind and evil sister in work of Patrick Chamoiseau. The following part of this thesis is a brief insight into the issue of fairy tales including presentation of up to now research and the difficulties which this genre provides. Phraseologisms in fairy tales of brothers Grimm and their reproduction in Czech translation
VODIČKOVÁ, Alžběta
The thesis deals with phraseologisms in The Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales and their reproduction in Czech translation. The basic concepts of phraseology are described in the theoretical part. Furthermore, there is described the meaning of phraseological units in language and there are explained their individual attributes. Then, basic concepts of contrastive phraseology are defined and phraseological and non-phraseological types of equivalence are determined. The corpus of phraseologisms from twelve selected Grimm´s Fairy Tales (Tangled, The Town Musicians of Bremen, Mother Holle, Little Red Cap, Puss in Boots, The Six Servants, Cinderella, Snow White, Briar Rose, The Frog King or Iron Heinrich, Rumpelstiltskin, The golden Goose) is gathered in the practical part. To these German phraseologisms there are assigned their Czech phraseological and non-phraseological equivalents. The acquired paired units represent the described types of equivalence. These types of equivalence are analysed on demonstrative examples. The thesis is also interested in Czech translation of German phraseologisms and it comprises the quantitative results.
How to wank princesses
Schättingerová, Nataly ; Houdek, Vladimír (referee) ; Homola, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis, entitled How to annoy princesses, deals with some aspects of tourism, as it manifests itself in crowded historical monuments. The personal experience of tour guide at Kost Castle offers me a perspective on the issue, with which I emphasize the common interest of the "mouflons" (i.e. castle visitors) for spectacle and sensations (fables, myths, Czech fairy tales, ghosts), which often wins over the interest in history itself. I capture the atmosphere of commercialized monuments in a grotesque way that is close to me. The goal of the work is to set a mirror to the public and ideally to stir up a debate about the decline of visitors' interest in the professional aspects of guiding or the state of the monuments themselves. The series of figurative medium-format oil paintings, supplemented by audio processing untrue facts, untrue stories and myths, indirectly follows on the book The Last Aristocrat written by Evžen Boček , which deals with a similar theme.
Pain of shapeshifting
Daniš, Vojtěch ; Lastomirský, Ján (referee) ; Mikyta, Svätopluk (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis entitled Pain of Shapeshifting follows on from the author's previous works, in which he dealt with topics such as nostalgia, communication with inanimate objects, the relationship between the living and the inanimate, past experience and change as mental and physical development (transformation). Now he combines these elements with new ones, with an interest in a kind of transition or "portal" between the waking and dream worlds. Interpretation of dreams, dream symbols, as well as pop culture references from fairy tales or mythological stories serve as a guide for the author. He compares the motifs of these stories with human characteristics and the development of their nature. He works with motifs where the protagonist goes through a transformation, whether it's going through a "portal" or interacting with a magical object. Alice in Wonderland passes through a "portal" in the form of a rabbit hole, in The Wizard of Oz this transmission is caused by a tornado, in Sleeping Beauty by a thorn, in Snow White by an apple, and so on.

Jindrová, Vendula ; Ferklová, Alžběta (advisor) ; Loudová Stralczynská, Barbora (referee)
This Bachelor Thesis deals with the use of fairy tales and the development of pre-literacy by parents of preschool children. The thesis is dividend into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on fairy tales, their origin, characteristic features and their influence on children's development. It also focuses on pre-literacy and its developmnet in children of preschool age. In the practical part, answers to research questions will be sought in the form of questionnaire for parents of preschool children. The goal is to find out how and how often parents of preschool children use fairy tales at home. Furthermore, the goal is to determine whether parents only use fairy tales passively or actively, and to investigate whether parents are aware of the influence of literature on children's development. Then, based on the answers obtained, create methodical material - a manual with suggested activities that parents could apply to (almost) any fairy tale and which supports better use of fairy tales in a family environment. With the help of this supportive material, parents would be able to work with fairy tales better and more efficiently, and thus would specifically support the development of pre- literacy in their children. The effectiveness of this tool in the family environment...
