Comparison of event marketing strategies of luxury fashion brands in the years 2010-2012

Bachelor thesis "Comparison of event marketing strategies of luxury fashion brands in the years 2010-2012" deals with the event marketing as a tool through which selected luxury fashion brands (Dolce & Gabbana, Hermès, Louis Vuitton) on the Czech market communicate with their customers. First, the thesis defines the essence of event marketing and its position in the marketing communications mix. Subsequently, it indicates the main aspects of the luxury sector and characterizes the basic principles of the event marketing activities that are carried out in this area. The thesis describes selected events and than using comparative analysis reveals their obvious and latent intentions, on the basis of which each brand seeks to attract the target audience and convey unique and emotive experiences. The whole thesis points to the fact that the luxury fashion brands, which are mainly based on traditional and historical value, are able to effectively communicate with their customers through the communication tool that is considered as a modern, innovative and progressively growing part of marketing communications.
The needs of people with dementia and the support of their independent living in their own environment

The present thesis which focuses on the needs of people with dementia and the support of their independent living in the home environment was written within the framework of the PhD study in Longevity at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, GAČR project co- researcher and AZV participated in during post gradual studies. Presented research focuses on the needs of home dwelling people with dementia, the needs of their informal carers, the needs and experiences with providing care of patients with dementia in acute hospital care. The text of the thesis is divided into four parts, which are based on texts reviewed and published or prepared for publication. The first three parts present own research aimed at identifying the needs of people with dementia and experiences with caring of them in their home environment and in the hospital environment during acute care. The final part presents the possibilities and services to support their independent life in their own environment.
The needs of vulnerable older people in home health care

The present dissertation, which focuses on the needs of particularly vulnerable older people in home health care, was written within the framework of the PhD study in Longevity at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University and was carried out as part of the project supported by the Charles University Grant Agency "Met and Unmet Needs of Particularly Vulnerable Older Patients in Home and Inpatient Care" (GA UK No. 760219). The overall aim of the three researcher project, where I was the research coordinator, was to clarify the needs of particularly vulnerable older patients in both home health care and inpatient care, including the needs of patients living with dementia. The aim of this dissertation was to identify the needs of vulnerable older patients in home health care. This dissertation consists of four papers. At the time of writing, two articles had been published in peer-reviewed journals and two articles were under review. The thesis has chapters in the introduction and conclusion that set the professional articles in context, creating a comprehensive view of the needs of particularly vulnerable older people in home health care. This diploma thesis deals with the perception of the speed of the vehicle from the point of view of the driver without the possibility of checking the speedometer. The theoretical part is devoted to the driver as a risk factor and vehicle research. The practical part consists of conducted driving tests concerning the subjective perception of the driver according to age, experience and type of vehicle.
