Comparison of the effect of the two-mass and hydraulic buffers on the impact of the self-loading rifle
Talanda, Jakub ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
The focus of this thesis are the effects of dual-body and hydraulic recoil buffers on measured recoil of an AR-15 type self-loading rifle. The first part explains the working principles of the rifle and both mentioned buffer designs and points out the sources of the recoil effect. A brief summary of contemporary knowledge and already conducted research into the problem follows. The second part describes an experiment in which the recoil force was measured using a force sensor placed between the rifle butt and shooter’s shoulder. At the end, outcomes of this research are discussed and results obtained for both buffer designs are compared.
Writing Device Drivers Under Linux and Windows
Sznapka, Jakub ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design and implementation of USB driver and key of HID class for microcontrollers MC9S08JM60. It describes theoretical part necessary for design, as well as implementation with shown lines of code and pictures. Outputs of test programs are also included.
Vector Analysis in GIS Systems
Životský, Tomáš ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the geographic information systems   with an emphasis on so - called vector analysis . The aim of the thesis is to create a library that implements the internal representation   of geographic data and performs analytical operation over them .  The thesis describes the logical structure of the application and the hierarchy of abstract classes . In the form of pseudo -code is shown a set of individual computing operations . Work is strongly based on geographic system GRASS. This GIS is connectable through  import and export vector data in shapefile format. Concept of   storing layers is designed for ease of data manipulation and  their portability . The main idea behind the application is to split the library into individual modules . These modules are  independent , but also can benefit from each other's functions . In conclusion are demonstrated implemented vector analysis and  representation of their calculation .
3D World
Konečný, Jiří ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Vanek, Juraj (advisor)
In my thessis I am going to addres implementation of 3D world and movements in it. On following pages you can find techniques that were used in creation of my 3D world and methods that I used while creating movement in this world. This 3D world was created using OpenGL library.
Hybrid headphone amplifier for the high-end listening and performance
Čacký, Adam ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis describes the design of a high quality small portable headphone amplifier for dynamic headphones. Part of the work is theoretical assumptions for the optimal design and implementation of peripheral involvement, comparing the properties of components used and the resulting parameters of modeled device. Analyses of the electrical quantities of the circuit created in simulation software are enclosed.
Heating of accommodation object
Akrman, David ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Topič, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with heating and hot water, brand new house. It is an object of three floors with dimensions of 30.0 x 23.5 m Optimal heating system is solved for coher-ent whole object. Heating is mainly dealt plate radiators with a local heat source. The theo-retical part focuses on biomass heating, especially pellets
Improving material flow by using a logistics train
Grepl, Radovan ; Urbanovský, Jan (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
The main content of this master´s thesis is the analysis of the current state and the proposal an internal supply of assembly lines in the company Koyo Bearings s. r. o. This company specializes in the production of bearings mainly for the automotive industry. The supply of the lines operates on the principle of Mikl-run. The practical part focuses on creating a simulation model using the Plant Simulation simulation software from Siemens PLM Software. Based on the created model, several variants were proposed to optimize the loading of the packaging material. These variants were analyzed and evaluated.
GLSL Based Engine
Šlesár, Michal ; Karas, Matej (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
Creating a graphical application running on a GPU typically involves configuring the GPU, creating and configuring the required objects, and then implementing the application's behavior itself. The aim of this work is to create a tool that would automate this configuration using the OpenGL application interface. As a result, the user would not have to waste time configuring and could quickly create and prototype graphics applications. In addition, the created tool adds new functionality to the application that is not native or supported on the GPU, such as working with a mouse and keyboard.
Study and characterization of organic substances in a biochar sample
Vojáčková, Beáta ; Kalina, Michal (referee) ; Enev, Vojtěch (advisor)
This bachelor thesis characterizes biochar from a physico-chemical point of view. The theoretical part deals with biochar as a soil conditioner, its properties, use, production, and last but not least, effect of its sorroundings. For better characterization of organic and inorganic matter a phosphate buffer was used. This buffer ensures their specific extraction due to a neutral pH. The second path is to use rainwater, which simulates the condition of the soil environment. In the experimental part are discussed both; purified buffer-extracted samples and rainwater samples, which were studied by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), elemental analysis (EA) and by infrared spectroscopy with Fouier transform (FTIR-ATR). Conductivity and pH were also measured. Moisture and ash content, which represent the inorganic non-combustible fraction, were determined using thermogravimetry. The extraction yields were converted to ashless wt. % based on these values. Results of EA provided us with information on the content of biogenic elements and basic physico-chemical characteristics of biochar. In contrast, the FTIR method defined the presence of individual functional groups and specific constitutive units, which are present in the extracts. This information allows us to better understand the environmental impact of biochar on the soil ecosystem.
