Job satisfaction of teaching staff at primary and secondary schools in the Vysočina region

The diploma thesis deals with the job satisfaction of pedagogical employees working in elementary and high schools in the Vysočina Region. The main goal of the thesis is to ascertain how are the pedagogical employees in the elementary and high schools of the Vysočina District overall satisfied with individual aspects of the selected outside factors of job satisfaction. The next goal of the thesis is to compare job satisfaction of pedagogical employees in the individual aspects of the selected outside factors. In the theoretical part, the thesis is focused on the theories of job satisfactions and the relationship between job satisfaction and work performance. Furthermore, the thesis deals with selected outside factors, which influence job satisfaction. The investigation is carried out in the selected elementary and high schools in the Vysočina Region. To obtain the necessary data, a non-standardized questionnaire of job satisfaction was created, which was then filled in by 149 teachers of both elementary and high schools in the Vysočina Region. Analysis of work performance management of teaching staff in the schools established under part 16 paragraph 9 of the Czech Education Act

The aim of the thesis is the analysis of the performance management of teachers in a school established in accordance with § 16 para. 9 of the Education Act. The theoretical part of the thesis specifies the concept of human resource management and defines the individual personnel activities as a tool for human resource management. It highlights from personal activities the function of performance management and describes it using the literature. It specifies in detail the phases of the cycle of the performance management process. The theoretical part contains the description of the process of performance management of teaching staff, defines the identification of the specific conditions in a school established by § 16 para. 9 of the Education Act, which may have an impact on the monitored personal activities. The analytical part of the thesis provides the results of research in primary schools established by § 16 para. 9 of the Education Act. Teacher assistant competences

Thesis "Teacher assistant competences" responds to growing number of teacher assistants in educational system and reflects still remaining ambiguities in delineating requirements on assistants' services and activities. The objective of thesis is on the basis of empirical findings define the basic competences of teacher assistant working in a regular basic school. In its theoretical part thesis works with legislative norms specifying the role of teacher assistant and with findings of relevant researches. The explorative part of thesis is based on qualitatively orientated methodology and processes data from eighty interviews realized with assistants, teachers, principals and pupils with special educational needs from twenty basic mainstream schools. Data in research were processed by classification, coding and schematization with using the form of framework analysis. From the research results author formulates the main outcome - suggested model of competences for teacher assistant professional standard.

The theoretical part describes modern education and its outcomes. The issue of quality measurement in education on the whole is addressed while mentioning the fact that the concept of quality of education has no exact definition. Further, the basic functions of school are descibed together with their evaluation. The significant aspect of parent-school cooperation is mentioned in the context of coordinated curriculum. This theoretical framework explains the environment in which the pupil`s prosocial behaviour arises and develops further. Followingly, the standards of quality in promoting personal integrity are introduced. The standards include eleven principles which cultivate moral and ethical values in all participants of educational process. The delineation of current educational grounds and goals, along with suitable methods and sociological view of education constitute another part of the work. The sociological view ends with analysis of sustainability of morality and school role in promoting values. 1 ABSTRACT This thesis deals with the educational management of the teaching staff supervising the state graduation exams. The theoretical part explains the concept of educational management and focuses in detail on the managerial function of organization. It describes the current form of the state graduation exams, related legislation and institutions involved. The thesis explains the staffing of graduation exams and individual training programs for teachers, and clarifies the role of further education of teachers. The aim of the work is to optimize the organization surrounding the education of teachers supervising the state graduation exams in Prague and Central Bohemia. The data in the presented research were collected via a survey among participants of the education related to the state graduation exams in Prague and Central Bohemia in the school year of 2015/2016 and interviews with lecturers of relevant training programs. Effect of the style of school principal leadership on work performance management and development of teaching staff

The diploma thesis deals with the management styles of directors of educational institutions in the Czech Republic. Its aim is to analyze the influence of the school principal's management style on the teaching staff in a connection with the management of work performance and the development of pedagogical staff. The first part of the thesis deals with and describes the theoretical background. It defines the basic concepts of general management, people management and specifies all for the school environment. It presents knowledge about leadership styles, about work performance, which is specified for work performance management in non-profit organizations. Another presented aspect of the leader's work is the professional development of employees, which in the field of education is represented by the school principal through a compulsory further education of pedagogical staff - in service. The second part of the thesis presents a questionnaire of sociologist Professor Dr Philip Hallinger entitled - The Principal Instructional Management Rating Scale, abbreviated PIMRS, which the author of thesis translated and tested in the environment of Czech schools. Possibilities of employment of direct care workers in day care centers in selected region

This master's thesis deals with the possibilities of employment of direct care workers in day care centers. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part provides a primary insight into the system of social services with the specification of day care centers as social care services according to Act No. 108/2006 Coll., On social services. It also discusses the range of professions that can be employed in day care centers based on the Czech Republic's legal system. The practical part presents quantitative research which had an aim to find out the possibilities of employment of direct care workers in day care centers in a selected region, the capital city of the Prague region. The research monitors the professional proportionality of multidisciplinary teams concerning the level and field of education and employee participation in activities carried out in day care centers. Based on the research results, the last part of the work proposes recommendations for practices. Macháčová, J. Stress factors in elementary school teachers. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel university in Brno, 2018. The bachelor thesis is focused on detection of stress factors based on profession of elementary school teachers and proposing preventive measures against these stress factors. Literary research describes stress in general, stress in the work en-vironment and stress in pedagogical staff. The practical part is based on the ques-tionnaire survey, which shows what factors the teachers consider most stressful. Then, hypotheses resulting from the questionnaire survey are tested. At the con-clusion, preventive measures are recommended to help reduce the stress of peda-gogical staff. Proposals for preventive action from human resources management.

The bachelor thesis is aimed at the occurrence of the burnout of the vocational high school pedagogues. Author is dealing with the problematic of the stress in general, it is principles, sources, and causes with respect to the profession of the pedagogue. In the individual chapters is explained by the author the origin of the stress. Furthermore is described the course of the stress reaction and the conse-quent impacts of the long – term stress on the human body. As the result of the long – term influence for the stress on the human body is regarded the burnout syndrome, which the main target of this thesis. Main issues are dealing with the development of the burnout, prevention and copping strate-gies preventing burnout development by the stress. Within this problematic author presented categories of the burnout syndrome of pedagogues. In the final part of the theoretical thesis author focuses on the profile of the pedagogue. The degree of burnout syndrome is determined in the practical part of the theses on the basis of the pedagogue’s experiences on the selected vocational high school. Author on the basis of the theoretical part of the thesis made the standardised MBI – Maslach Burnout Inventory, which is directly intended for this problematic. Further author added a question to the survey, that she developed by herself with respect to the goals of the bachelor thesis.
Evaluation and self-evaluation of educators at a specific primary school

This bachelor thesis deals with a detailed examination of the evaluation and self-evaluation of pedagogical workers at the primary school level. The theoretical part describes the aims and importance of evaluation and self-evaluation of pedagogical staff, basic methods, forms and criteria of evaluation and self-evaluation at school. It refers to the classification of evaluation methods. It describes basic and accompanying methods, which include: motivation-evaluation interview, MBO method, 360ř feedback, rating scale, free description, checklist or observations. The empirical part describes the objectives of the research. It specifies research questions, methods of data acquisition and processing, etc. The empirical part is conceived as a case study whose aim is to describe the methods, forms and criteria of evaluation and self- evaluation of pedagogical workers at specific school in Liberec, the Czech Republic. The research is based on interviews with the headmaster of the school, questionnaires for all teachers and also interviews with selected teachers of the school.
