Digital appendices form an inseparable part of the thesis. Key words: interactive whiteboard (IWB), English teaching, methodology, technology, ActivInspire, guidelines
Programmable non-human actors - analysis of geeks' sociotechnical imaginary
Michalik, Tadeáš ; Fabuš, Pavol (advisor) ; Pospíšilová, Marie (referee)
In this qualitative research I analysed two on-line discussions of "computer geeks" about a possible implementation of a distributed version control system called GitHub into the process of law-making. In the theoretical chapter I recapitulated how technology has been traditionally approached in Western Culture and how it it approached in newer social theories of technology. Then I presented geeks in their political context. Geeks define themselves in relation to computer technology, they program the technology, they are it's authors. In reseach chapter, I analyse their discussion using the social imaginary concept to find out how they understand the artifacts they make, how they relate to society through technology and what role tehcnologies play in their politics. Through investigating this sociotechnical imaginary, I tried to arrive at an understanding of their world and an understanding of what kind of actor technology is for them. I relate these findings to the way technology has been traditionally approached in Western Culture and tried do shed light on some of the changes the Standard Narrative has undergone in their imagination. At the same time, I analyse the processes at work in geeks' imaginary while they proselytize a "technology" as their own fetishised relationships.

Machaň, Jaroslav ; Souček, Martin (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jan (referee)
MACHAŇ, Jaroslav. Internet censorship in Belarus and other selected post-communist countries postkomunistických zemích. Thesis. Thesis adviser: Ing. Martin Souček, Ph.D. Abstrakt This thesis aims to familiarize the reader with the issue of Internet censorship in several Eastern European countries, where the level of censorship is especially poignant. It is intended primarily for people who want to study this theme matter more. For them this thesis is a gateway to this phenomenon. It has to show what technologies and methods in today's world are used to censor the Internet and how individual states censor access. The thesis also deals with the procedures for measuring the level of censorship in the restrained deployed States. It discusses the technical aspects of these processes and their functioning so that you, the reader, which is not purely technically based, took the most understood the information and communication. Number of countries that restrict access to the content of the World Wide Web is currently a constantly increasing and final number of these states is growing. Based on the arguments that are often considered to be a compelling and powerful as "preserving cultural norms and religious values" and "protecting children from pornography and abuse" implements many states have extensive filtering...

It contains proposals of basic curricula, selection of topics and time allocation for profile subjects Practical Training and Technology. Examples of real teaching learning activities with an emphasis on integrating the content of social science base with elements of Sciences technology base are introduced. The aim of the methodological part is to present the way how the theoretical knowledge of methods, forms of education are used in my teaching practice use, with the emphasis on the area of motivation of students and students' assessment.
The use of artificial substrates for evaluation of effluent water quality from organic and conventional carp ponds
GRACÍK, Jan
The objective of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the quality of the water after flow through the ponds with conventional (Blatensko, Czech Republic) and organic (Waldviertel, Austria) technologies using the colonization of artificial substrates by macrozoobenthos (MZB) to asses the differences in the influence of different managements of pond farming (organic vs. traditional) on water quality. Samplings were performed in monthly intervals (AprilSeptember 2016) at nine inflow and outflow profiles of four ponds. Samples of MZB were processed in the laboratory. Evaluation of MZB was supplemented by in-situ monitoring of basic parameters of the aquatic environment. The resulting values of saprobic index (SI) match the water quality in outlets in the range valid for the beta to alpha mesosabrobity (SI 2.302.62). In the inlets to the Skaličný and Haslauerteich ponds, where the SI value corresponded the betamesosabrobity (SI 2.482.49), the discharged water quality in the outlet was insignificantly (p>0,05) deteriorated to the alphamesosabrobity (SI 2.54 2.62). On the contrary, in the inlet to the Gebhartsteich pond, where the value SI matched the alphamesosabrobity (SI 2.57), water quality in the outlet was insignificantly (p>0,05) slightly improved (SI 2.54), but the degree of saprobity has not changed. Similarly, in the inlet to the Pančár pond, where the SI value matched betamesosabrobity (SI 2.30), the outlet water quality was insignificantly (p>0,05) slightly deteriorated (SI 2.33), however again the degree of saprobity remained unchanged. Water quality changes after the flow through the investigated ponds resulted in the increase of the diversity index (H´) and vice versa (the worse water quality the lower H´). According to the analysis of the data of environmental conditions in organic and conventional carp ponds, they did not differ significantly. Also the species richness and the total number of individuals were not significantly different. The results of this diploma thesis demonstrated that the applied organic technologies of fish culture in monitored ponds did not have any significant impact (improvement) on the quality of aquatic environment and the composition of macrozoobenthos in the recipients of farm outflows, and also that no significant differences (deterioration) can be documented in the outflows from conventional ponds compared to the organic pond farming management.
