Methodologies for evaluating the technical condition of sewer networks

The bachelor’s thesis deals with methodologies for evaluating the construction and technical condition of sewer networks. The work consists of two parts. The first theoretical part is focused on the description of basic concepts related to the sewer network, acquaintance with the issues of cleaning, research and faults of sewer networks and also contains methodologies for evaluating the technical condition of sewer networks used in our country and abroad. In the second practical part, based on a camera inspection of a selected section of the sewer network, the classification of faults and evaluation according to three methodologies and their subsequent comparison were performed.

At the very beginning it defines regulation and its influence within the framework of jurisprudence in the form of normative regulation. Therefore the dissertation deals with the term of legal standard, its structure and the types of legal norms. It indicates normative regulation in practice, thus in selected laws. Thereafter it performs classification of normative instruments in education, which is made on the basis of law sources difference. The end of this thesis is dedicated to normative regulation of the educational system, which is illustrated by selected documents. Diagnostics and assessment of the structure of bridge

This diploma thesis focuses on diagnostics of bridge structures. First part of this diploma thesis will focus on theoretical knowledge about bridge structures and common diagnostic techniques suited for examining material priperties of samples taken from structure. Second part of this thesis will focus on practical use of experiments used in diagnostic branch. I will be doing visual observation of concrete structure followed by experiments on core samples. End of thesis will be evaluating structure from global perspective and will deliver specific sugestions for renovation.

Assessment of the technical condition of the sewer network in the village

The bachelor's thesis deals with the assessment of the construction and technical condition of the sewer network in a selected village. The research part is focused on maintenance, types and frequency of failures and inspection techniques to control the condition of the sewer network and propose reconstruction. The works include czech and foreign methodologies for evaluating the condition of the sewer network. In the practical part, a camera inspection of selected sections of the sewer network was performed, followed by a defect coding and evaluation according to two methodologies. Conforming to the assessment of the condition of individual sewer sections and manholes, rehabilitation was proposed.
