Fibres from the renewable sources
Uchytilová, Markéta ; Bálková, Radka (referee) ; Kotlík, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the production of textile from the environmental perspective. The aim of this work is analyzing the possibility of replacement of basic raw materials used for production of natural and synthetic fibers by using raw materials derived from renewable sources. Using fibers from renewable sources should eliminate the problem of limited availability of primary raw materials for textile fibers and reduce the amount of synthetic waste.
Certified methodology for textile deposition
KUŽELOVÁ, Zdenka ; ŠEVČÍK, Richard ; PŘÍHODA, Jiří ; NASADIL, Petr
The methodology was created for the neeeds of museum workers handling and depositing textile artefacts. The methodology is focused on depositories where textile artefacts are stored. Certified methodology to create permanently sustainable environment for storage of traditional clothing components in depositories
HRUBANOVÁ, Markéta ; POLÁŠKOVÁ, Hana ; NASADIL, Petr ; KUŽELOVÁ, Zdenka ; PŘÍHODA, Jiří ; ŠEVČÍK, Richard
The methodology was created to identify risks related with the environment where artefacts of cultural heritage are handled or deposited. It is intended for museum and open-air museum workers handling textile clothing components and other textile artefacts. The aim was to create a tool to monitor and measure contamination of the environment where artefacts are handled to reduce risks, damage or lifetime decrease of the artefacts as a result of an improper storage conditions. Following described procedures will enable to monitor and decrease the pollution with the aim to protect both exhibits and health of the workers handling them.

Methodology of Non-Destructive Research into Historical Fabrics of Ethnographic Nature from the Period between 1850 and 1950, Their Documentation and Identification MEP (Methodology of Ethnographic Research).
Mertová, Petra ; Samohýlová, Alena ; Holcner, Ludvík
The major goal of the methodology is to deliver an instrument for documentation and identification of fabrics in ethnographic collections of museum institutions. The methodology uses a set of describable and measureable properties of fabrics acquired through research into and documentation of museum collections. With regard to the group of presupposed users and the nature of researched objects – historical textile with cultural value, the methodology is suggested as a non-destructive one. The research methodology includes several steps aimed, as follows: first of all at a professional documentation of fabrics using non-destructive methods focused on the discovery of describing and measurable properties of an object and the technological analysis of historical fabrics of ethnographic nature; secondly, at the identification of ethnographic fabrics at collection institutions through the comparison with a set of the already summarized data about historical fabrics, including their photographs with examples of fabrics selected at museum repositories. The acquired material is stored at the web application atlastextilu.cz.
