Modern Trends in Public Administration Management

The Thesis analyses modern trends in the management of Public Administration in Czech Republic. The reforms and changes in Public Administration are supported by the implementation of management tools and tools focused on quality of Administration. These tools, including elements of corporate governance and some principles of private sector market, aims to improve and make the Public Service more effective. New Public Management (NPM) can be considered as a general name for the tools and for the concept of the Management of Public Administration, in particular meaning the principles of Process Management, the Balanced Scorecard (BSC), Benchmarking, the Common Assessment Framework and other methods and tools based on the models of TQM and EFQM. The practical part of the thesis contains the surveys and evaluation of the efficiency of the above mentioned models by the Regional Authority and selected municipalities, including their strengthts and weaknesses.
The analysis of the number of reclamations and of the reclamations handling process in the LASSELSBERGER, a.s. company

Main subject of the thesis is customer satisfaction. The introductory theoretical parts of the thesis are devoted right to the customer and his/her satisfaction, to its measuring methods and to the way how to handle complaints, eventually reclamations in corporations. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of qualitative reclamations and of reclamations and complaints handling and customer satisfaction evaluating processes in the LASSELSBERGER, a.s. company producing ceramic wall and floor surfaces. The objective and the outcome of the thesis is formulating a set of recommendations arising from elaborated analysis and also from theoretical findings. These recommendations should improve actual run of analysed processes considering the quality of output of those processes and for sure considering the customer satisfaction.

The aim of this thesis is a description of the current situation of the company and its future development.

The aim of this work is to describe and analyze the marketing mix and marketing activities of the fitness SPORT CENTRUM BUDOKAN with the emphasis on increasing its attractiveness and competitiveness, to identify possible deficiencies and to give a list of recommendations for the owner of the fitness, i.e. to make a proposal of a compact marketing strategy. Based on my own marketing analysis (positional analysis, SWOT analysis, mystery shopping, polling, observation and benchmarking), I have designed my own marketing strategy, which would lead to the established aim.
Benchmarking IT

The aim of this paper is to describe benefits of benchmarking IT in wider context and benchmarking scope at all. I specify benchmarking as a process and mention basic rules and guidelines. Further I define IT benchmarking domains and describe possibilities of their use. Best known type of IT benchmark is cost benchmark which represents only a subset of benchmark opportunities. In this paper, is cost benchmark rather an imaginary first step to benchmarking contribution to company. IT benchmark is not only a method for comparing IT efficiency, but also a way to better co-ordinate IT work with company strategy or make IT work more transparent for their customers. IT benchmark facilitates continual improvement not only to internal IT processes, but also to services that IT provides and in consequence to supported business services. Reader will further familiarize with practical example of IT process benchmark and with specifics in benchmarking of outsourced processes. It should be possible based on this paper to set strategic aims in benchmarking. And second, to run an initial IT process benchmark project.

Cílem diplomové práce je zmapovat možnosti využití benchmarkingu a jeho přínos pro firmu, aplikovat metodu benchmarkingu a navrhnout zlepšující doporučení. Teoretická část diplomové práce zobrazuje benchmarking jako nástroj podpory strategického managementu, jeho přínos, postup a varianty využití. V praktické části je představen předmět benchmarkingu, skupina České dráhy, a.s. a jejich finanční situace. Finanční benchmarking porovnává České dráhy, a.s. s odvětvím služeb v ČR a s významnými železničními společnostmi v zahraničí. Poslední analýza je zaměřena benchmarking s autobusovou dopravou z pohledu zákazníka.
Aplikace benchmarkingu v realitním odvětví

Diplomová práce pojednává o aplikaci benchmarkingu z pozice Realitní společnosti České spořitelny. V teoretické části práce je popsán celkový proces strategického řízení, z kterého benchmarking vychází. Poté je dán teoretický základ samotného benchmarkingu (postup, druhy, výhody, nevýhody). V praktické části práce je nastíněna situace Realitní společnosti České spořitelny na realitním trhu, její největší slabiny a je zvolen benchmark pro porovnání. Po samotné aplikaci benchmarkingu (finančního i nefinančního) jsou vyvozeny závěry a doporučení, které by měly vést ke zvýšení výkonnosti společnosti.
