Rising trends in production logistics
Schreiberová, Veronika ; Sato, Alexej (advisor) ; Vinš, Marek (referee)
Thesis focuses especially on Průmysl 4.0 (which is a Czech alternative of Industry 4.0 concept) and its potential in the Czech Republic. It acquaints readers with aspects that Průmysl 4.0 should bring into particular spheres. Průmysl 4.0 is put in the context of various national industrial visions, focusing on the German concept Industrie 4.0. Through the analysis, comparison, summarization and generalization thesis denies the fact that Průmysl 4.0 is just a copy of Industrie 4.0. Thesis acknowledges Průmysl 4.0 as a real, feasible concept. Though, the contribution becomes real only with full deployment of all responsible entities.
Digitization seminar for regional libraries
Řihák, Jakub ; Kolátor, Jan
V průběhu semináře byly akcentovány témata strategie digitalizace větších knihoven s ohledem na výběr podkladů a technologií, dále způsoby a nástroje k uchovávání, popisu a zpřístupnění digitalizovaného fondu.

A framework for paperless office implementation in manufacturing companies
Hanusová, Zuzana ; Oškrdal, Václav (advisor) ; Bahník, Václav (referee)
This master´s thesis discusses the introduction of a paperless office in manufacturing companies. The main goal of our work is to create a general framework for implementing paperless offices in such enterprises. The theoretical part presents the needs of today´s information society, focusing on the requirements of manufacturing companies. Next, the thesis describes the closely related topics such as company documentation and document archivation. The key chapter of the theoretical part deals with the subject of paperless office itself by discussing the current knowledge about different approaches, digitization, benefits, risks and suitable tools of information systems. The outcome of our work - and its main contribution - is the newly proposed general framework, which may serve as a guide for implementing paperless office solutions in the manufacturing companies. The practical part of the thesis demonstrates an application of the suggested framework to propose a solution for the company called Mi-King s.r.o.

Automatization of the digitization workflow of the National Library of Technology
Řihák, Jakub ; Kosek, Jiří (advisor) ; Římanová, Radka (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on the automatization of digitization workflow in the National Library of Technology, Prague, Czech Republic. This thesis examines possibilities of digitization processes automatization by means of scripts written in Perl programming language and Apache Ant build tool. The advantages and disadvantages of both solutions are analyzed as well as their suitability for automatization of digitization workflow. Based on the comparison of both solutions, the scripts in Perl programming language are selected as the most suitable solution for automatization of digitization workflow. The question whether Ant build tool could be used for the purpose of automatization of digitization workflow is also answered in this thesis. The Ant build tool could be used for the above-mentioned purpose. However, once the activities in the given process divert from the general scope of tasks provided by the Ant build tool, the complexity of the whole solution increases rapidly. This complexity is given by the necessity to use predefined tasks -- sets of functions which have to be combined to create a functional automatization script. Even though Ant is an extendable tool, it is necessary to understand the Java programming language in order to create a new Ant task successfully. On the other hand, the Perl programming language allows easier customization of the script for the purposes of automatization of digitization workflow. Also, the modularity of the Perl programming language makes it easier to create those scripts and modify, correct or develop them even further.
The impacts of the digitisation on running and dramaturgy of single-screen cinemas
Konopáčová, Jana ; Hanzlík, Jan (advisor) ; Hucková, Barbara (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine the impacts of the digitisation on running and dramaturgy of single-screen cinemas. I set myself a target to assess this transition, to describe running of a digital cinema and to analyse all potential changes in cinema's offer. The practical part summarizes available information related to this area, the analytical part subsequently illustrates operation of two selected cinemas in relation to the hypothesis which are given in the introduction of this thesis.
