The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of extending the motivation system of Bosch Diesel company. The theoretical part summarizes the findings concerning employee motivation. Subsequently, an analytical part is created using internal sources of the company and a questionnaire survey.

The purpose of the master thesis is a proposal of an effective personnel marketing system in a company operating in a field of information technology resulting in meeting needs of potential and current employees. The thesis includes an analysis of external and internal personnel marketing supported by quantitative research among information technology programme students of Brno universities and current employees. As emerged from the analysis, shortcomings can be found in a company promotion via social media and web page as well as in a professional development of employees. Based on the acquired results and theoretical overview particular proposals of effective personnel marketing have been made.

The submitted diploma thesis deals with the issue of motivation and evaluation of employees of the researched company. The thesis is devided into three parts. The first part diploma thesis focuses on the description of the incentive system from a theoretical perspective. The second part focuses on research and description of actual payment mechanisms and opportunities for personal development in the company. Based on the results of the half-structured interviews from the second part are in the last section suggested possible improvements or potential solutions of identified problems.

Current trends of employee requirements in field of study were gathered using a survey. Based on analysis of the current status and findings, propositions for improving motivation strategy are stated. These suggestions come with quantification of eventual costs needed to realize them and will lead to bigger satisfaction of current employees and more efficient acquisition of new workers.

Based on the results of the analysis, at the end of the thesis there will be presented proposals and recommendations for improving the current situation.
