The principle of subsidiarity in the theory of social policy

The diploma thesis named "Subsidiarity Principle within the Theory of Social Politics" deals with the analysis of subsidiarity principle within social politics, its theoretical anchorage within both, social politics and the European Union, with practical application in the context of social work in connection to the ethical conception of this principle, and criticism that is being applied onto this principle. First, theoretical foundations of social work are outlined, followed by definition of subsidiarity principle, subsidiarity genesis, its role within European Union. Ethical foundations, specific application of subsidiarity, and last but not least, criticism of this principle, follow. The diploma thesis is theoretical.
Ferdinand Peroutka's Cultural Publicism in Přítomnost

The diploma thesis Cultural journalism of Ferdinand Peroutka in Přítomnost (1924 - 1939) deals with culture articles Ferdinand Peroutka has written as the editor-in-chief of a cultural-political magazine Přítomnost during the years between the World Wars. The thesis is therefore mainly focused on his literary criticism but texts concerning theatre or film are included as well. Crucial part of the thesis is based on a critical qualitative analysis of a chosen sample of texts published in the culture section of Přítomnost between 1924 and 1939 - with the emphasis on Peroutka's requirements towards art, his polemics with other authors or his subject choice and reception. Form and content of the texts are analysed too. Additionally, the thesis provides an introduction to Ferdinand Peroutka as a member of Czechoslovak Republic's elite, specifically as a journalist and a culture critic. In order to offer full context a description of Přítomnost magazine is included and completed by a brief summary of Czechoslovak culture journalism between the World Wars with examples of other important periodicals and their contributors. The thesis opens with introducing different approaches to criticism as a genre.
Work of Bedřich Václavek in historical-sociological perspective

Master's thesis describes the work of BedřichVáclavek in historical and sociological perspective. BedřichVáclavek was leading Marxist theorist, critic, esthetician, Germanist and folklorist. Its individual parts are treated at this thesis, like the evidence of his intellectual transformations over time. Emphasis is placed on a chronological line, which is accompanied by Václavek's work (criticism, theories, reflections, contributions in journals, collections and letter-writer). Thesis focuses primarily on summarizing on his work, where it comes to transitions from one artistic direction of a second, while takes into account the historical background reflecting the social situation on which Václavek responds. Theses tried to offer a comprehensive view of the versatility of Václavek's works, but also for his detailed biography, especially from birth and throughout the study (until 1922), which is the period when constructing patriotic thoughts and relationship to folklore. Master's thesis offers a view of Václavek's contribution to the sociology of literature, what was the inspiration for some colleagues of Václavek and his followers. The transformation of czech political satire in TV broadcasting after year 1989

The aim of the Master thesis "The Transformation of Czech political satire in TV broadcasting after year 1989" is to capture and describe changes of political satire in television shows over last 25 years on sample of six selected shows: Česká soda, Gumáci, S politiky netančím, Politické harašení, Stalo se and 168 hodin. Theoretical part of this work is trying to explain idea of satire itself and to introduce of the topic into more general historical context. Practical part is then, using semiotic analysis, aiming at what expression/aesthetic and thematically variables create satiric constructions in the level of visual picture, press and graphics, language level and music component. Last chapter is dedicated to offer political satire in TV broadcasting after 2010. This work is then connecting results of the analysis and findings from the theoretical part in the conclusion.

Theories of Modernism and Visual Arts Abstract: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to outline the theory of modernism in relation to visual art as seen in three authors. Firstly, the work will describe Clement Greenberg's opinions (his views of the issue of modern art and its development), based on which he tries to support the legitimacy of modern art. The next author discussed in this work is Michael Fried, who was inspired by C. Greenberg. The last author mentioned is Timothy J. Clark, who is radically opposing the modernist way of mapping the visual arts - and he is opposing both of the above mentioned authors as well. The critic of the dukes in Don Quixote

The present thesis deals with an analysis of the direct and especially the indirect critism of the duke and the duchess, the characteres of the second part of The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha, and it identifies the techniques to achieve that. A literary-scientific framework treating the mentioned issue is used for the analysis. Moreover it is supported by the quotations from the book in most cases.
Linguistic Analysis of the Blog "Módní peklo"

Bachelor thesis "Linguistic Analysis of the Blog Módní peklo" introduces popular Czech blog Módní peklo which critically reflects shortcomings of Czechs in the domain of fashion. The introductory part of the paper contains the definition of the term blog and describes the current status of blogs in the Internet network. The main part of the thesis is divided into two larger units. The first one focuses on the detailed thematic and contentual characteristics of the blog Módní peklo. It describes the history of the blog since its emergence in 2010, including the most important points in its existence. This section also introduces the author of the blog and mentions web platforms that are thematically related to Módní peklo. The second unit brings an analysis of the language which is typical for the blog. The description emphasizes particularly lexicologic and stylistic terms. The described phenomena are exemplified by authentic examples from the blog. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the findings reached in the previous chapters. This part of the text contains the debate of how the language of the blog affects its popularity among the readers. The thesis includes an interview with the author of the blog and appropriate text and image attachment.
The behavior of coach in match and training process

Title: coach's behavior during match and training Objective: The aim of my work is observation of chosen tree choaches and their influence on players during training and match. Hypothesis: I suppose that during crucial moments behaviour of coaches will be escalated and as a consequence of it will be degradation of player's sport performance. Methods: In my work I used direct, unstructured, open observation and method of questionnaire collection used for coaches and their children players. Results: The aim of work was reached, hypothesis confirmed. During matches and its crucial moments emotional behaviour of coaches escalated, consequently player's self-confidence was affected and as a final result of it was degradation of their sport performance.
