The influence of compulsory pre-school education on the work of pedagogical workers in selected kindergartens

The bachelor thesis deals with problematics of the introduction of compulsory preschool education, its benefits and changes in areas of administration and educational process. The aim of this work is to find out how the legislative change, effective from the calendar year 2017, relating to the introduction of compulsory of preschool education, affected events in individual areas of pedagogical staff, more specifically administrative and managerial work of principals and educational and administrative work of teachers in two selected kindergartens in the largest Central Bohemian city of Kladno. For the purpose of fulfilling this goal, a research case study is chosen, in which data were obtained through interviews with school principals, qualitative questionnaires addressed to teachers and analysis of internal and curricular documents affected by the legislative change. Personal experience and knowledge in the field of pre-medical first aid of chosen pedagogical staff of the Secondary School of Nursing and Higher Vocational School of Nursing Příbram.

This thesis deals with the issue of pre-medical first aid, experience and knowledge of pedagogical staff in this area. The main goal of the theoretical part was to define the concepts and procedures of pre-medical first aid. The goals of the practical part focused on finding out personal experience with the provision of pre-medical first aid of selected pedagogical staff of the Secondary School of Nursing and Higher Vocational School of Nursing in Příbram, and also on finding out their knowledge in this area. Data collection took place in a qualitative form of the interview method. The obtained data were subsequently evaluated and recommendations for practice were derived from them. It was found that all of the selected pedagogical staff had encountered a situation in which it was necessary to provide pre-medical first aid. The second important finding is that the respondents have excellent theoretical knowledge. These results show, among other things, the positive impact of regular first aid courses/training provided by the current employer, which is repeatedly attended by 84 % of respondents.
Self-concept in the context of work realization form pedagogical worker with hearing impairment

This bachelor thesis is focused on the self-concept of pedagogical workers with hearing impairments employed in education, specifically in kindergartens, primary and high schools for the hearing impaired. The theoretical part focuses on the classification of the hearing impaired, the possibilities of education of the hearing impaired and their employment in the labour market, self-concept and related terms, and the characteristics of individual positions in which teachers with hearing impairments can work within a school for the hearing impaired. The aim of the work is to clarify the issue of self-concept of these workers in their employment. Furthermore, it will also shed light on the influence of lenght of experience and education attainment on the self-concept of teachinh staff with hearing impairement, highlight the use of self-assessment and self-reflection by these staff and last but not least, identify how workplace relationships influence the self-concept of teaching staff with hearing impairment. Legal aspects of the competency of teachers in the context of school management

The final bachelor's thesis deals with problems of qualification and educating nursery schools pedagogical workers. It also deals with work of nursery schools headmasters in the area of administration (creating conditions for studying and organizing working of nursery schools during teachers' learning). It is also aimed at finding connections between interest in learning and proposed career code. It results from the research of relevant legal directives, professional literature dealing with learning abilities, pedagogical workers competencies and their gaining; further it results from electronic documents, contributions and articles dedicated to the issues of education and it also results from proposed career code issue for pedagogical workers. The thesis is based on results analysis of a research that was aimed towards nursery schools headmasters and pedagogical workers in Pelhřimov region. The thesis brings information on erudition of nursery schools teachers in Pelhřimov region and their interest in further education in relation to proposed career code. Further on it brings information on creating conditions for educating teachers of nursery schools in Pelhřimov region by their headmasters and organizing working of the school during teachers' learning.
Management of risks during recruitment and selection of teaching staff

Human factor creates the greatest risk when working with people. Above all, to give a good example for future generations, it is necessary to select preschool teachers carefully. However, the role teachers play is not only to present a good example for children but to be also a colleague and team worker. Pre-school teachers are required to possess professional and personality competences. Therefore the process of recruitment and selection of teaching staff (followed by their adaptation in preschools) is one of the most important and difficult things in personnel management. Key staff, mangers and personnel officers are in charge of this process. It is highly important to be able to identify, evaluate and eliminate possible risks in the course of all recruitment process. To eliminate such risks is fundamental not only for key staff in education system. The aim of the paper is to define particular measures of prevention arising form identification and evaluation of possible risks during recruitment and selection of teaching staff school education, taking into account their future incorporation into the process of education.
