The bachelor thesis was extended with the design of user interface for controlling the task and demonstration of working with the robot using virtual reality.
Futuristic Cockpit for Urban Mobility
VR Innovative Game Demo in UE4
Doležal, Josef ; Chlubna, Tomáš (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
The task of this bachelor thesis is to create a demo application for virtual reality using Unreal engine 4. Main mechanics are gravity sfere, simulating custom gravity and mirror portals with an ability to teleport a player to a previous or any other destination. All prefabs are free to be used in another Unreal engine 4 projects.
Teleoperation Interface for a Semi-Autonomous Vehicle Using Virtual Reality
Revický, Peter ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
The goal of this work is to come up with user interface in virtual reality for vehicle robot teleoperation that is equipped with cameras, Velodyne laser distance meter and localization system. The user interface is designed with generally accepted methods for creation of user interfaces in virtual reality. This work also deals with the problem of sickness from VR. The user interface is implemented in Unity3D game engine. The HTC Vive Pro virtual reality kit was used during implementation and testing.
Effect of physiotherapy on the mobility of patients with diagnosis of multiple sclerosis
ŽITNÁ, Petra
The presented bachelor thesis summarizes basic current knowledge about multiple sclerosis. It aims to research possibilities of affecting the mobility of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) offered by contemporary physiotherapy. The theoretical part deals with general anatomy of CNS and especially the etiology, forms, clinical symptoms, diagnosis and symptomatic treatment of MS. There are summarized current possibilities of physiotherapy used during attack and remission periods of MS. The research part contains four case studies dealing with patients with relapsing-remitting form of MS. There were carried out kinesiological measurements before the beginning of therapy and after its finish. The measurements contained case history, basic neurological examination, measurements using standardized balance and gait tests and posturography. All these kinesiological examinations were supplemented by descriptions of short-term physiotherapeutic plan, course of therapy and suggestion of a long-term plan. In conclusion there are presented results of the research and overall evaluation of the therapy. The therapies were based on using the interactive system Homebalance developed by Nintendo company to practice stability in combination with my own self-designed conventional therapy using mobilization of peripheral leg joints, exercises on balance platforms and sensorimotor stimulations. The chosen therapy had positive effects on postural confidence of all involved patients as it was proven by output measurements of postural stability and balance tests as well. The chosen therapy positively influenced mobility of the patients as it was recognized by gait tests which showed slight increase of walking speed.
Aplication of virtual reality on dynamic postural stability
Al Amri, Saad Khazim D ; Pánek, David (advisor) ; Maršáková, Kateřina (referee)
Objective The aim of this study was to identify if there is any significant difference in dynamic postural stability after 3D Virtual Reality VR application on healthy adults. Methodology There were 11 healthy adults participants ( n=11 , 7 males, 4 females), with age average of 27 years. Pre-test and post-test procedures were performed by using NeuroCom, Smart Balance Master System, Sensory Organization Test SOT (Composite Equilibrium, Sensory Analysis of Somatosensory SOM, Visual VIS, Vestibular VEST, and Preference PREF) and Motor Control Test MCT (Weight Symmetry). Application of 3D Virtual Reality was provided by using Samsung Gear Goggles, with 5 minutes duration. Results There were no significant statistical differences in SOT Composite Equilibrium, Sensory Analysis of Somatosensory SOM, Visual VIS, Vestibular VEST, Preference PREF, and MCT Weight Symmetry results (p > 0.05) after the Virtual Reality application. Conclusion The application of Virtual Reality has no significant difference on dynamic postural stability in healthy adults from one session exposure. Further investigation and trials are needed to clarify the Virtual Reality effectiveness on dynamic postural stability of healthy adults. Psychological Experiment in Virutal Reality
Kotěšovcová, Tereza ; Gemrot, Jakub (advisor) ; Bída, Michal (referee)
Title: Psychological Experiment in Virtual Reality Author: Tereza Kotěšovcová Department: Department of Software and Computer Science Education Supervisor: Mgr. Jakub Gemrot, Ph.D. Abstract: There were many experiments conducted in real environment studying the psychological effect called social facilitation. It describes changes in human behavior caused by the mere presence of other human. Usually the tested person performs a task while being watched by this other human and his performance is measured. For easy or well-known tasks, the performance is expected to be higher (social facilitation). On the other hand, for complex or novel tasks the performance gets lower (social inhibition). Our goal was to create a program, which allows us to conduct this experiment in virtual environment - the observer will be a virtual agent controlled by computer. The experiment can be configured, for example the agent behavior or content of the task can be changed. If proven true the findings about social facilitation caused by virtual humans could be relevant in areas such as computer games development or interface design. Keywords: virtual reality, psychological experiment, HTC Vive

Painting in 3D Space Using Augmented Reality
Kořínek, Milan ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The goals of this work are described and create an application in which the user can paint in 3D space of virtual and augmented reality. First, the solution of the elements that provide the possibility of painting is clarified. It also describes the processing of the environment in which the user moves and interaction with the application. Finally, it is described how to combine individual parts of the solution with special hardware for a virtual and augmented reality.
