Family constellation of Headmasters

This Diploma thesis examines the issue of family constellations school directors. It explores the family constellation directors of different types of schools. Starts from the premise that school heads comes from a similar initial family environment and that there is no difference between family constellations directors of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools. Basic starting point has become from research results of family constellations school principals in the Czech Republic, which uncover their characteristics.The theoretical part of the thesis starts with an explanation of basic terms, as well as maps of the individual differences-influence of heredity, family, education and environment. It also discusses the analysis of family constellations and their impact on the conduct and behavior of man. The research is based on a mixed research design. There is included both qualitative and quantitative phase of research. The entire research work is kept aim the work and research questions. Lifestyle and relationships in the subculture of ballet

This thesis deals with the lifestyle and relationships among professional ballet dancers. Previous studies that have focused on this group, have not focused on the lifestyle as a complex phenomenon, the goal is therefore to supplement existing knowledge in this matter. Given the recent research coverage problem, the thesis uses explorative approach to the conceptual level based on the concepts of lifestyle and subculture and it uses methodologically a qualitative approach. In particular, the conceptual basis in the form of subculture largely determines the orientation, the process and the structure of the paper. It figures as a tool that allows us to organize a view of professional ballet dancers. After defining the concepts related to ballet and introducing the factual account of events enabling to look into the historical and institutional context in which Czech ballet dancers act, followed by a description logic of its study in this paper, including basic concepts of introducing subculture and lifestyle, and clarification of the used methodology. The results of qualitative research among professional ballet dancers that form the core of the paper, are then presented in the next section. Self-harm and social networks - is there any relation?

The work deals with self harm as a maladaptive coping strategy. Emphasis is placed on adolescence as a risk period. Attention of this work is also paid to the social networks and an occurrence of self harm on them. The aim of the research was to find which the relation is between self harm and the activity on the social networks. Another aim was to discover the characteristics of these adolescents (social environment, reasons of self harm etc.), the ways of self harm and how they experience it. The research results showed that first reasons which led to start with self harm were troubled relationships, sexual abuse, rape, stress and craving for it. Actual reasons are individual, too. The most frequent reasons are stress, reasons connected with sexual abuse, troubled relationships and sadness. Respondents indicated that self harm served as a release. The research results showed that online communities are significant for self harmed adolescents. These communities give them the sense of belonging, support, possibility to find new friends and share their experiences.
Drama therapy with stepfamilies

My bachelor thesis deals with the problem of restored families, where the child lives with biological parent and the step one. There are mentioned situations previous to setting up such families and the problems the family members have to face during their coexistence. Another topic of my thesis is the drama therapy. This kind of expressive therapy works with dramatic procedures that can be applied to a wide range of problems. These procedures could be found in psychotherapy as well as in special pedagogy or other fields. Theoretically, it mentions the modality of work with drama therapy through its techniques and means. The theoretical part containing the exposure of the both topics is followed by the section in which the author tries to apply drama therapy techniques to selected problems in restored families. There are presented specific examples and exercises, and last but not least is pointed out what can be influenced or improved, if applied in the therapeutic process of the restored family.
Mothers with intellectual disabilities

The thesis deals with the phenomenon of motherhood for women with intellectual disabilities. The first chapter of the thesis is devoted to the question of who are parents with intellectual disabilities and how their own personality influences their motherhood. The second chapter is concentrated on formal and informal sources of help that mothers with intellectual disabilities receive abroad. The third chapter aims to concentrate on existing system providing help to people with mental illness in the Czech Republic. The last part of the thesis presents a research project whose aim was to analyze the current situation of women-mothers with intellectual disabilities and understand how these women perceive their addressed motherhood and identify problems that women deal with during their pregnancy and motherhood. The research also describes what kind of support they receive. During the project was used a qualitative research which methods are presented by interviews. The research is based on analysis of interviews with four mothers with intellectual disabilities, which are further processed by using The Grounded Theory. Relationship between individualism and narcissism

The dissertation thesis focuses on the topic of individualism and non-clinical narcissism. The issue is seen first in the broad context of social sciences and also the results of empirical researches published hitherto are summarized in the first part. Subsequently, based on three questionnaire surveys (two of them have representative character), is researched the incidence of individualism and non-clinical narcissism in the Czech population as well as the interaction between these two phenomena. For the purposes of measuring of their incidence we adopted the scale of individualism and collectivism (INDCOL) and constructed our own valid instrument for measuring non-clinical narcissism. In the text there is also described the process of construction and application of these two instruments. The thesis pursues also wider consequences of non-clinical narcissism, emphasizing one's self-conception, sexual life, partner and other interpersonal relationships, professional life and occurrence of social-pathological behaviour.
Philosophical conception of architecture with reference to Simon Mawer's The Glass Room

This Bachelor thesis is concerned with the balance between rationality and sensibility in architecture, materialistic and spiritual aspect of architecture, the contrast between the transparency of modern architecture and the lack of transparency of human lives and the impact of the symmetry and beauty on people and their relationships in the period of time referred to (from 1929 until 1989), all with the reference to The Glass Room (2009) by Simon Mawer. The way the book is written is discussed as well.
