This bachelor thesis sort out a review of legislative requirements and standards according to the European Parliament and Council in the field of machine tools. It also deals with the explanation and inclusion of harmonized standards into the czech legal system. The safety requirements and the check lists are developed for the selected universal milling machine.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the Roaming and legal Regulations. The bachelor thesis serves as an introduction to European Union law, Law making, the concept of roaming and roaming regulation. The aim of my work is to evaluate the effect of roaming price regulation on the costs incurred at roaming in the selected company. This thesis is focuses on the time horizon eight years, from year 2007 to year 2015.
Clinical trials of pharmaceuticals

This master thesis is a description of the clinical trial, which is part of medical law un- der the law aspects. This thesis is split to topic, whose a brief outline is in the introduction. Process of the clinical trial and their institutions are discussed under the law and medical aspects. Resources of this thesis are a professional literature, knowledge of experts from pharmaceutical company and my own experience from part-time job in this type of com- panies. Aim of the thesis is to bring more resources and information about that topic to experts and other people who are interested in. This thesis is devided into five chapters. First chapter is speaking about a general insti- tute in the clinical trial. There are listed sources of the law. In the next chapter I deal with the process of the clinical trial from the begining i.e. from the development of a new sub- stance through the clinical trial to the final registration. The chapter about the european law regulation is following. In the fourth chapter I deal with the ethical aspects, which are conected with clinical trial. European insolvency law changes in connection with regulation EU 2015/848

Historically, the insolvency proceedings are a matter of the national states and their own legal regimes. With progressive European integration, the undertaking activities grow over the national levels. Also with numerous cases of defaults of companies undertaking in different states of European Union, a request for regulation setting clear set rules for performance of multijurisdictional insolvency proceedings in European Union is made. At the beginning of the twenty first century the European regulation ES No. 1346/2000 on insolvency proceedings (the "Regulation") has become this set of rules. This Regulation, which among others stayed valid throughout the biggest financial crisis that European Union had come through and it is now becoming a quality ground on which the European Parliament is trying to establish its recast the regulation of European Parliament and Council (EU) 2015/848 on insolvency proceedings (the "Recast"). The interpretation of original Regulation was done by the European Court of Justice on several occasions. This interpretation helped on successful use of the Regulation. On Supervision of Financial Markets by Czech National Bank

1 Abstract This work deals with the performance of supervision over the financial market and the entities operating in the financial market. Part of the work is devoted to consumer protection in the financial market and compensation systems. Because of the fact that the Czech Republic became a member of the European Union in 2004, this work includes also legislation of regulation and supervision of this level, as this treatment significantly predetermines Czech adjustment. Following questions were examined as an example of protecting the interests of clients of supervised entities: - whether there are any tools to protect the client's interests at the level of supervised entities, - what kind of role the supervisory authority has or may have in relation between a supervised entity and its client, - how are the client's financial interests protected in the event of failure of the supervised entity and whether this protection is de lege lata sufficient. The theoretical part of the work briefly describes the institute of supervision, its assorting and forms. The topic of this master's thesis is the legislation of local self-governing units from the moment of its creation to its possible repeal by the constitutional Court. The thesis is divided into eight chapters which are divided into subchapters and further. The first chapter describes basic concepts which are mentioned in this thesis and are related to the topic. This is e.g. explanation of the concept of an abstract act and examples of what abstract acts exist in our country, the definition and division of public administration, explanation of what self-govern is and how it is divided, what are generally binding ordinances and regulations and what is the difference between the two. More basic concepts which are important for the comprehension of this master's thesis are explained. The following two chapters talk about the process of creation of generally binding ordinances of Municipalities and Regions and their regulations too. There are described requirements and structures generally binding ordinances and regulations of Municipalities and Regions, their receiving authority, who can the legislation suppose, its approval, force and effect. Trees in the Old Testament Considering the Mythology of the Ancient Near East

This work deals with the symbolism of trees in the Old Testament considering the mythology of the ancient Near East, using relevant literature, concordant exploration, and synchronic and diachronic analyses of biblical texts. It aims to present an intersection of the most important aspects of the appearance of trees in the Scripture, both in a literal and figurative sense. Drawing on work with biblical and mythological texts from the ancient Near East, it presents the tree as a comprehensible symbol with strong explanatory power, which constitutes its potential to contain even the most complex messages of the Scripture and of the human condition as such.
European citizens' initiative

The very purpose of the thesis is to describe and give the legal analysis of the European Citizens' Initiative, which is the new part of European law. Subject matter of the first part of this thesis is deeply discussed democratic deficit in relation to citizens' initiative, which is followed by description of the direct democracy in Swiss Confederation and Slovakia. Introducing of main events and documents leading to the final EU regulation is also part of this thesis. The most important part is thereafter analysis of admissibility conditions of the citizens' initiative, necessary requirements and procedural rules while applying the regulation mentioned above. Significant attention is also paid to the role of the EU Commission, particularly when registering the citizens' initiative according to the regulation and potential consequences of non-registering. In addition, thesis deals with the nature of citizens' initiative and its relation to the EU Commission.
