Using brushless d.c. motor to drive servo-unit with safety function
Rudolf, Ladislav ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Prajzner, Václav (advisor)
In this work, a proposal for BLDC motor control, which will be used as a drive linear actuator. Control with microcontroller focuses mainly aspects such as motor mode, regenerative mode, measuring rotor position sensors and measuring the motor current, which corresponds to the moment. The result of the work is focused on upgrading the existing Honeywell actuator, where the processor-controlled BLDC motor to replace the existing system and take over the actuator working function and emergency function.
Peristaltic Pump Controll Unit
Charvát, Jakub ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Ligocki, Adam (advisor)
The work deals with the problematic of peristaltic pumps and it collects theoretical background information of this topic. The primary goal of the work is the implementation of peristaltic pump and the implementation of protection against equipment damage by overpressure. The overpressure evaluation system in this thesiss on the principle of current measurement of the motor pump. In this work, this premise is successfully tested and applied to the device. Another goal of this work is to create a desktop application that will monitor and control the pump. he data between the application and the device were successfully transfered by the MQTT communication protocol. The communication between the computer and the pump has been tested successfully.
Bushing-type current transformer 25 kV, 400/5/5 A
Bálint, Zoltán ; Vávra, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vaněk, Jaromír (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is the design of a double-core bushing-type current transformer. This appliance is intended for measuring and protection of high-voltage distribution systems of the internal type for the highest system voltage of 25 kV. The master’s thesis is divided into four parts. The first part describes the function of the current transformer. The next part deals with the analysis of the phasor diagram and errors of the current transformer. The major part of the thesis deals with the design of the protective and measuring core. The last part describes the 3D model of the bushing-type current transformer.
Wireless Telemetry System for RC Model
Čamaj, Peter ; Prokopec, Jan (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This project deals with design and realization of wireless telemetry system, which is special used in model of plane on remote control. It solves software and hardware realization of the telemetry system, which is able to wirelessly transmit the measured cockpit values, which are clearly displayed on LCD and also represented by sound.
High resolution ammeter
Honek, Marek ; Roubal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (advisor)
A transmission electron microscope is a device operating on a similar principle as an optical microscope. The fact that electrons wavelength is much shorter than the wavelength of photons is used to obtain huge magnifications. Glass lenses commonly used in the optical microscope are therefore replaced by magnetic coils in the electron microscopes. A magnetic field is directly proportional to the current passing through these coils. It is important to the current supplied to the coils to be as stable as possible to achieve high resolution. The goal of this thesis is to analyze usable current measurement methods and to design a current stable measuring device with a resolution of 1 ppm.
Power controller for Formula Student monopost
Sanetrik, Štefan ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with design of power management unit for single seater Formula Student car. In first part are defined requirements for power management unit. In next part CAN protocol which, will be used for communication with system of the car, is introduced. Third part of thesis deals with circuit design. Mechanical design of device is introduced in next part followed by introduction of software Last part of thesis is focused on comparison of wanted and achieved parameters and conclusion of achieved results.
Contactless Wiegand Effect DC and AC current sensor
Štefánek, Martin ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Kubásek, Radek (advisor)
The paper describes the types of magnetic sensors, which are used for measuring magnetic fields. The document is divided into chapters, which describe Wiegandův sensor and its implementation into the magnetic sensor in this document is designed magnetic circuit design for this sensor. The work evaluates the progress in the design of contactless ammeter that measures AC and DC current via Wiegand effect. Experimental verification principle and its function for DC current is described in the penultimate chapter.
Current Transformers and Current Sensors Confrontation
Popek, Jiří ; Bok, Jaromír (referee) ; Topolánek, David (advisor)
Current transformers and current sensors are devices which are mostly used for current measurement in high voltage systems. This devices transform measured currents to range which are workable for measurement and protection devices. Current transformers have been using for current measurement since electric system was built. Current sensors are using for measurement after applying digital devices in their secondary circuits. Theoretical part includes fourth and fifth chapter. These chapters contain construction analysis and characteristic points for both devices. Practical part is in chapter six. This chapter consists results from laboratory measurement. Results are used for verification with theoretical part of the thesis. Accuracy class in nominal range and progress for measurement error in overcurrent range was verified for tested devices. Conclusion of this thesis comparing properties and summarises results from laboratory measurement.
Testing parameters of stepper motors at different microstepping mode
Műller, Jakub ; Chalupa, Jan (referee) ; Klimeš, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and construction of test equipment that allows measurements of basic parameters of stepper motors. The first part is devoted to the search about the principle of operation of the hybrid stepper motor. For the analysis engine has been used a mathematical simulation model with real parameters in Matlab/Simulink. The next section is the design of mechanical and electronic form of the test facility with a description of the components used. The last part of this work is focused on measuring the excitation currents and measuring loss of steps at various control modes and microstepping.
Current sensing with Hall-effect sensors
Štindl, Daniel ; Kovář, Jan (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with integrated Hall-effect current sensors. The thesis contains summary of manufacturers of current sensors suitable for low current measurement and comparison of their important parameters. Next objective of the thesis is a design of test board used for evaluation of temperature depedent accuracy of several sensors simultaneously. The device can be connected with PC through USB interface for saving measured values or automated control with other instruments.
