Application of the DIC method in the analysis of human movement
Vogel, Arnošt ; Boháč, Petr (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis investigates the potential of using the DIC method for human motion analysis. The research section provides a description of the Digital Image Correlation technique in both 2D and 3D. Moreover, existing methods for analyzing human motion in the field of biomechanics are presented. The practical part of the thesis consists of three initial experiments, where only a few points on the human body were observed. This is followed by a final experiment that examines a more extensive field of points using the DIC method.
Swimming analysis using a SwIMU measuring device
Láznička, Jakub ; Šťastný, Jan (referee) ; Bátorová, Michaela (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the description of the inertial sensor for measuring swimmers. The work contains a description of the possibility of performing swimming performance analyzes. In the practical part, a pilot measurement was performed and a detailed manual was created containing a description of accessories, the measurement process and the methodology of subsequent evaluation. An external database in MS Excel was created to compare the evaluated measurements, used to sort data with the possibility of statistical processing.
Simulation of Robotic Search of Lost Radiation Sources
Cihlář, Miloš ; Lázna, Tomáš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
Simulátory, společnostmi zabývající se robotikou hodně využívané, hrají důležitou roli při výzkumu robotů. Zrychlují, zjednodušují, zlevňují a usnadňují vývoj softwaru a algoritmů. Magisterská práce se proto zabývá návrhem systému, založeného na ROS2 a Gazebo simulátoru, umožňující simulaci pozemních robotů ve vnějším prostředí s možností hledat ztracené radiační zdroje. Práce navrhuje několik metod vytváření prostředí v Gazebo simulátoru včetně návrhu prostředí z mračna bodů a je vytvořen model čtyřkolového, smykově řízeného mobilního pozemního robota. Chování robota v simulátoru bylo ověřeno a upraveno pomocí teoretického dynamického popisu robota. Před simulací algoritmů pro hledání ztracených radiačních zdrojů je navržena metoda sledování referenční trajektorie pomocí proporcionálně integračního (PI) a lineárně kvadratického (LQ) regulátoru a navrhuje metodu k simulaci zdroje radiace a jeho měření. Hledání radiačního zdroje jsou použity dvě typově odlišné metody, kdy jedna je založena na prozkoumání celé oblasti a vytváří mapu radiace, a druhá metoda založená na částicovém filtru aktivně hledá ztracený zdroj záření.
Effect of strength training on postural stabilisation
Klein, Juraj ; Lopot, František (advisor) ; Kubový, Petr (referee)
Title: Effect of strength training on postural stabilisation. Objectives: The main objective of the theoretical part of the thesis was to summarize the knowledge concerning postural stabilization, strength training and possibilities of postural stability evaluation. The aim of the practical part was to find out what is the effect of strength training on postural stabilization. Methods: The thesis was measured in the premises of the Laboratory of Biomechanics FTVS UK in Prague and was attended by 10 probands. Participants underwent a four-week training plan to develop general strength abilities. We evaluated the impact of strength training by our provocation test and its 3D kinematic analysis using Qualisys optical system. The measurement consisted of an input part before the intervention and an output part after the intervention. The measured values were analyzed in Qualisys Track Manager and then transferred to Microsoft Excel, where they were evaluated and compared. Results: The results showed a significant difference between input and output measurements of postural stabilization. There was a significant improvement in stabilization after four weeks of training, with a noticeable improvement in stabilization on the lower left limb. Properly selected strength exercise has a positive effect on...
Measurement unit for sports analysis with inertial sensors
Dugas, Martin ; Brablc, Martin (referee) ; Kumpán, Pavel (advisor)
Master's thesis is dealing with desgin of a measuring unit incorporating inertial sensors, used for analysis in canoe sprint. Data from a three-axis accelerometer and a three-axis gyroscope were combined using an extended Kalman filter, yielding speed, roll, pitch and yaw of the boat and stroke rate. Calculated values were verified by a GPS. Furthermore, parameters describing dynamic behaviour of the system were identified, allowing an inclusion of dynamic quantities like force and power into the analysis.
Measuring unit for race swimmers motion analysis
Kumpán, Pavel ; Hrbáček, Jan (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with a design of the computational method for the analysis of swimmers training with the use of an inertial measurement unit. The developed algorithm uses quaternion-based Unscented Kalman filter and merges accelerometer and gyroscope measurements. The proposed method enables analysis of velocity, acceleration and inclination of a swimmer. Verification of the method was based on an underwater video camera capturing and a tethered velocity meter.
Interest Points Tracking in Video Sequence of Non-stationary Camera
Studený, Pavel ; Davídek, Daniel (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of tracking feature points earned from videosequences of hand helded camera. The work is focused on the case of moving camera and static background, and events that are associated with this case and can occur. There is studied the movement of the camera, which is given its direction and speed. The aim of this work is the election and the subsequent implementation of three fundamentally different methods suitable for tracking feature points in case of moving camera and their comparison according to set criteria. On the basis of comparison will be under pre-defined conditions chosen algorithm that is best able to deal with tracing these points.
Analysis of Motion of People by a Stationary Camera
Temporal Image Interpolation
Černý, Pavel ; Bařina, David (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with issues of image interpolation between two key frames. Main objectives of the work are design and implementation of application which interpolates images using optical flow estimation based on Farnebäck method. Application computes pictures by two methods, which use two-way interpolation. The first method selects a pixel with neighborhood and the second method selects only pixel and blurs it into a new frame. Testing was carried out on data describing the different types of movements. If the estimation of optical flow was correct, interpolation was successful, otherwise the interpolated pictures were inaccurate. Especially it was the key frames with a small gradient or with an indeterminate movement.
