Cooperation public children libraries with kindergarten in Prague

(in English): The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to define the structure of cooperation between children library and the kindergarten. This proces was examined from different kind of views, but primarily the proces is shown on one concrete cooperation between Munincipal library in Prague - Prosek and its children branch and kindergarten Novoborská.This final paper includes a case study focused on the kindergarten requirements concerning the librarian services provided by the library. The study is being made by using the method of quality research. The outcome of the thesis is to provide a design of marketing campaign for the Prosek's Munincipal library in Prague. The campaign is being made out using the information based on the case study combinated with the key literature focused on methods and recommendations how to work with preschool children, which can be found in the state educational program paper and IFLA guide for Children's library services. Other data used for creating the campaign are based on detailed analysis of the children library at the Munincipal library in Prague - Prosek.
Possibility to develop preschool children by moving activities

The thesis deals with possibilities and ways of child's development in their preschool age. The aim of this thesis is to prove a positive effect of controlled kinetic activities on the development of children's abilities, skills and knowledge at the age from two to four, namely in the frame of all five educational spheres RVP PV. There was used the method of an experiment consisting in a realization of a fourteen-day-search based on a schooling program using both kinetic and non- kinetic activities, on an input and output measuring the level of the same partial abilities, skills and knowledge for two eight-member-groups of children and also comparing acquired results. It was found out that kinetic activities of preschool children can be used within the educational process as one of its elements with comparable effect to using non-kinetic activities. Development of Speaking and Singing Skills of Children Based on Musical Fairy-tale in a Kindergarden

The target of diploma work is to verify possibilities of methodical work in a kidregarden which will conect all aspects of pre-school education together based on a musical fairy -tale. The development of speaking and singing skills wiil be in a center of an atention of the work. Theoretical part of the work will contain explanation of basic musical- psychological expressions in conection with each ethaps of children evolution in a pre-school education. A Special emphasis will lay on a development of motorical, listening, musical, singing and speaking skills. Beside musical and musical-motion activities, dramatical genres will be used. There will be planned a project ( musical fairy tale) in which all points of contemporary pre- school education will be used. All these points will be defined and shortly characterized. In the second part will be introduced project that will have a target to verify how much it is possible to influence speaking and singing skills by musical fairy-tales. Everything will be concepted on a base of holistic aproach in the RVP frame.
Concept of health education in kindergarten

Concept of health education in kindergarten This thesis deals with the concept of a healthy lifestyle for preschool children and of health education in nursery schools. The first part of this work is the definition of "health" and individual determinants of health such as lifestyle, environment and health. The thesis deals with the various components of health education in kindergarten, the movement of children in kindergarten, nutrition, inner comfort and overall environment of the nursery school in the context of the Framework Curriculum for preschool education. The subject of research of this thesis is two-stage evaluation process and questionnaire, which is presented to teachers of kindergartens.
Implementation of the Learning Stories Method in a Czech Nursery School

The diploma thesis focuses on the Learning Stories method and its implementation in a Czech pre-school. Its aim is to explore, document, and analyse how the Learning Stories method is applied into a Czech pre-school as a part of the process of formative assessment. The theoretical part defines assessment in the pre-primary education - its content, and characteristics. Selected assessment tools used in a Czech pre-primary education are introduced. The theoretical part then focuses on the definition of the formative assessment in both Czech and foreign literature, and on the analysis of the Czech Statutory Pre-primary Educational Framework in the relation to the formative assessment. It also describes theoretical background of the Learning Stories method and its use within the international pre-primary education. The empirical part presents the aims of the research project - its methodology and results. Research data were acquired from a content analysis of learning stories and from semi- structured interviews with teachers who have been working with the LS method. "Home" from the point of view of kindergarten teachers and preschool children and the mediations of this topic to children in kindergarten through books

This diploma thesis deals with the mediation of the topic of home and its forms to children in kindergarten by the method of working with a book. The aim of this work is to select suitable books that offer different forms of home, whether in traditional or alternative form, and to create methodological material for them that would help children understand that each home is different. Based on this methodological material, verify the lessons by three selected teachers and assess according to the reflection whether this material is suitable as a methodology for the topic. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the various forms of home and shows the location of this topic in the Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the characteristics of preschool children, mainly in terms of social and emotional development, literature for preschool children and methods of working with the book, which are also used in the practical part. Playing as a Means of Development of Prosocial Behaviour

The aim of the thesis is to define the term "game", clarify its part and function in preschool period and connect it to the needs of a preschool child. Theoretical part of the thesis divides games from the point of view of the development of a child, social development, motivation and pedagogical use. The thesis connects games with the development of prosocial behaviour and manners and introduces the process of socialization at preschool age. Next there is connection of prosocial behaviour to the General Educational Programme of Preschool Education, mainly to five branches of education. In practical part there is methodical material, which has been tested in practice and which has been made to develop prosocial behaviour of children, and there are possibilities of using the games with prosocial aims. The games are divided according to their educational use based on Suchánková (2014). In methodical file we can find games focused on motoric, musical, verbal, constructive and primarily on social development. All these games are adjusted to quality development of prosocial behaviour and focused on cooperation, togetherness, communication, respect to each other, acceptance, and also on the appropriate use of the words "thank you" and "please". The file contains also non-prosocial games. These games have always been remade and adapted to prosocial games. All games included in the file have been tested in practice, reports of the observation as well as interview with children are enclosed. Under each game there is its evaluation including recommendation, report of children´s feelings, suitable number of players, possible risks and recommended ways of motivation.
