Ivan Il'in's Concept of National Idea

The thesis deals with the Russian thinker I. A. Il'in's lifework putting emphasis on social and political philosophy. In consideration of the coherence of all his lifework the thesis is also dedicated to Il'in's metaphysics, epistemology and moral philosophy interpretation and his philosophical method description. Il'in's concept of the Russian "national idea" and its position in the context of the thinker's philosophical system are analysed as well. The analysis of this concept is to indicate to what extend it could be of universal nature having a potentiality for general application. The thesis focuses on problems that have not been discussed in the Czech literature yet, although being topical, including Il'in's criticism of totalitarianism and Western democracy model, his specific conception of nationalism or emphasis on the legal consciousness and the legal state.
Society in the Hlučín region between the two World Wars (National identity forming exemplified by the educational system)

The bachelor thesis Society in the Hlučín region between the two World Wars / National identity forming exemplified by the educational system deals with the theme of national identity of this specific region whose history was very different from that of the rest of the newly formed Czechoslovak Republic. It attempts to illustrate the development of local ethno- national tensions from 1920 to 1938 while demonstrating that these conflicts were driven more by general national and strategic interests than on real interests of the local population. From the broader perspective of the specific situation of the Hlučín region in the economic, political and religious sphere the thesis highlights the educational system as a key area of conflict, linked to the efforts to achieve linguistic hegemony. It describes the conditions and context that exercised a profound influence on national identity forming in the Hlučín region.
Marketing communications FK Mladá Boleslav

Title: Marketing communications FK Mladá Boleslav Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the current state of marketing communication with the audience FK Mladá Boleslav, identify deficiencies and submit a proposal to improve the marketing communication strategy with fans of this club. Methods: In this thesis were used methods of analysis of relevant documents and texts. Another used method was structured interview with the staff of the marketing department, the marketing manager Bc. Jan Holický and communications manager Jiří Koros. Results: When analyzing marketing communications FK Mladá Boleslav, it was found that some of the communication tools are not used quite effectively and some tools this club even does not used. The proposal was constructed by monitoring current trends in marketing communications to suit any possibility of the club and was feasible. The aim of this thesis is an evaluation of John Steinbeck's wartime works in connection with the development of anti-war tendencies in American literature from the seventeenth century up to the first half of the twentieth century. The theme will be examined from two perspectives. Firstly, as a description of the author's personal experience and its influence on his attitude towards military conflicts. Secondly, as a complex analysis of the author's wartime works: The Moon is Down, Once There Was a War and Bombs Away.
Later and Foreign Works of Josef Mach

The monographic thesis mainly solves poetry and prose of Josef Mach, the Czech writer, journalist and clerk. It watches literary progress of his poetics according to the era context, influenc of places, historical and social events and inspirations of other artists who surrounded him. The work look into the texts and lyrics by a diachronic and synchronic way. The section about his original works is followed by a chapter about translations of several novels, because he acted even on this literary field. Then the general outline of the reception of Mach's personality and works since the time of his life until today. The whole thesis is introduced by Mach's biography to which it returns in many topics because his works have an empiric character and it is closely connected to the life. The object of the thesis is to sum information about all these topics and give it as a base for future expert research.
From Libussa to Wlasta - from Vyšehrad to Děvín. Tale about Libussa and "the Woman's War" in the Literature of the 19th Century

This thesis concentrates on the capturing of the portrayal of the Czech prehistory in the German literature, by the German-speaking authors originating from the Czech countries as well as in the Czech literature. The term 'Czech prehistory' is approached in terms of the Czech tales, with emphasis laid on the character of Princess Libussa (Libuše). The span of the thesis reaches from the Englightenment to the argument about the authenticity of the Rukopis královédvorský (Manuscript from Dvůr Králové) and the Rukopis zelenohorský (Manuscript from Zelená hora) in the 1880s. The thesis is divided into two parts. First, the development trends of the representation of the Czech prehistory are chronologically presented. The literary-historical development is discussed in relation to the changes in the concepts of German and Czech patriotism and nationalism. There is also a focus on the development of poetics and the shifts in the reception of prehistory during the periods of Enlightenment, Romanticism and Biedermeier. The changes in the character of Princess Libussa are compared of the possibilities of literary portrayal of Rübezahl (Krakonoš), the mythical ruler of the Giant Mountains, in literary works claiming allegiance to German or Czech patriotism and nationalism.
