The bachelor thesis focuses on the development of business activities of a company operating in the field of production and distribution of packaging materials. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of key concepts and analyses necessary for the development of the second part of the thesis. The latter describes and evaluates the current state of the external, internal and industry environment of the company under study. Subsequently, the SWOT analysis is the key basis for the definition of the proposal for the expansion of business activities, presented in the final part of the thesis.
Development of Business Activities in the Company Operating in the Food Industry

The diploma thesis deals with the development of business activities of a selected company operating in the food industry Podravka – Lagris, a.s. with a specific focus on increasing sales and market share for a specific product category. Based on the theoretical knowledge, an analysis of the current state is processed through analyzes of the external, industry and internal environment, whose results are summarized into a SWOT analysis. The design part of the diploma thesis presents recommendations for the company that will lead to the fulfillment of the set goals in the field of the development of business activities.

The master thesis deals with the proposal of a plan for entering the foreign market of the distributor Electric Medical Service, s.r.o., which operates on the Czech market in the field of medical diagnostic imaging technologies. The thesis contains theoretical background, which are used to develop partial analyses and to determine the current state of the market and company. Based on the outputs of individual analyses and market research, a plan for entering a selected foreign market is proposed.
Employee Remuneration System in the Selected Company

The bachelor thesis deals with the remuneration system, specifically its analysis and suggestions for improvement in terms of total remuneration. The aim was to find out how satisfied the employees are with the current reward system and how the internal and external environment affects it, and based on this information, suggestions for changes that would have a positive impact on the reward system were proposed. The whole bachelor thesis is then divided into three parts: theoretical, analytical and the actual suggestions for improvement. Employee satisfaction was evaluated by means of a questionnaire survey, which was completed by employees in paper form and then analysed anonymously.

Theoretical bases of work create theoretical background for next part of diploma thesis, which introduces hotel and used marketing mix. The aim of this master’s thesis is the suggestion of marketing strategy for Kilion Company. The first part of the thesis is description of theoretical resources. The second part is focused on analysis of the current situation of the company and the marketing environment. Based on these analysis and theoretical findings, I worked out a marketing strategy which contains a couple of proposals and measures to eliminate or correct the deficiencies.

Firm Analysis by Different Methods

The thesis is focused on strategic analysis of the selected company. To analyze the external environment is used SLPETA analysis, Porter's 5 forces model and to analyze the internal environment the 7S. The results are summarized with a SWOT analysis and the conclusion of the work are given possible recommendations and proposals for sub-strategic objectives. All recommendations comply with the rules SMART and are in line with company strategy.
